. Stupid search engines, throw a "." in a search even in quotes and it just ignores it.

These are the two I made so far 
Now if only I could figure out how to save them as the right type lol. When I get that figured out I'll re-trim the CoHF logo, that was just a quick thing thrown on so I could line up the field backdrops.
Edit: Oh, PS; -uiskin does not allow you to change your loginskin anymore, but it does still alter the logo in your taskbar, title of the window, and color of the initial small loadingbar rectangle. So if you make a custom primal oriented loginscreen -uiskin 0 will make the loadingbar blue for you instead of gold, and make your taskbar icon while the game is open statesman instead of the loyalist star
Edit2: Updated the pics with the cleaned up logos, and I decided the GR one fit Desdemona better
Edit3: I realized Tyrant's skintone was way too far off to be a praetorian version of States standing right next to him, and I saw other problems with him, so I re-implemented him from scratch. I also adjusted that one's glow and some other things. Realize I'm OCD with my art yet? XD lol.

Nice work, I'm liking the Des one. The UI could use a little bit cleaner selection perimeter though.
I really wasn't liking the quality-loss on Tyrant from having to stretch him so big(he started smaller than Statesman). The most apparent part of the quality-loss was his blurry blind-looking eye. Since he's supposed to be Statesman from another dimension I gave him a highres eye ala Statesman lol . *updated the post to show the new one*.
I know the UI trimming was horrible. It was just a reference so I knew where to put the glowing backdrops, and to make the copies posted here look a little more realistic. The actual copy I implemented as my loginscreen has the UI layers turned off(because the game puts them there of course), so it's quality doesn't matter , only the Freedom/GR logo remains on the image.

Oops yeah sorry bout that (explains why I haven't gotten any PM's in the last few days lol) it filled up on me again. 
I'll have to go through at some point and get rid of a few hundred old ones but for now I cleared out 50 or so, should be ok to send stuff now.

The .texture files are in DDS format IIRC; nvidia has a free Photoshop plugin to handle them here: http://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-t...dobe-photoshop and there are plenty of free standalone tools available too.

I could just do a screenshot of one of my characters and put it in there then? This is very cool, and SO MUCH BETTER than that crummy Freedom screen.

I almost exclusively run red-side, and I am getting a little tired off:
Soothing deep red > BRIGHT WHITE FLASH!!! > soothing deep red...

The zone loading screens are separate files in a different section (so I've heard
)and they may have been modified by Freedom's launch as well.

There are (sometimes) two screens on zoning. The first, it it happens, looks the same as the login screen. (Pack of heroes for Blue side, Recluse letting slip the arachnids of war redside, and Desdemona showing off her shorts gold side. Blinding white for Freedom.) The second would be the one for the zone going to.
It is the first one I am hoping to change. I do not mind the named zone ones, or the "Tip Screen" ones... Just the one that looks identical to the login in screen.
If that isn't possible, then I dub i21 "City of Heroes: Freedom from Choices." ;-P

I don't really care what the screen looks like, as long as it isn't eyeball melting bright white.
I'd be tickled pink if I could use the old CoV login in screen. But that seems but a dream, for now. It could be a blank black image, i don't care. I just have to get rid of the blinding white.
So, thank you for letting me know it can be done. :-D

Have to make sure it works on freem, as well.
The directory structure is also a bit different with the whole hybredui thing. You can find that out by dlding the screen I made. For more info PM me as I can't really talk about the rest here due to what's involved.
Did you have one where they were frenching each other too?
I was just teasing about that. I'd have to break out my dusty art tools to see if I could even draw that and would have to find some good reference
