Who's got info?
Performance Shifter in CA?
Chance for Self Heal Slow proc in Static Field?
Do damage procs break Jolting Chain?
Spill the beans. -
I worry about people who don't find this funny. Even my friends who hate hate hate hate anime laugh their butts off to this.
"I'M COMING ZARBON! GRAB MY BALLS!" -
Short and sweet. Ran an ITF for the first time with my elec/sd scrapper. Finished in 1:03 and global says I was rewarded 26 merits.
Only they didnt reward. I'm still stuck at 4. This being seen by anyone else? Would like my merits back... or rather, just like them to be given. -
Aye, as stated, you have to clarify use.
My fire/MM is mostly team oriented, so he is all about recharge, recharge, recharge. As I recall, he has 108% before Hasten.
Teams: Recharge
Solo: Uh.... some defense? And MOAR RECHARGE! -
Quote:I dunno.
Honestly I'd just leave the CCC on let the application decide.
Hmm, I did it the other way before you responded. I let CCC override but made sure to match up the settings in game. The only thing that I notice kills FPS is setting World Detail to 200%. 120% seems to be the magic number. -
What about in CCC? Max all settings there and in game (leaving AO off, cus I like FSAA more then AO)?

There's my laptop. If you don't want to click, it's a Mobility 5870 with the latest CCC drivers. I know Nvidia like the back of my hand, but I need someone to help me out.
(PS - Anyone noticing that IE, Firefox, and Chrome are having freaky problems with the new Flash Players? Been doing it across several computers, some not even mine! O_o) -
Another flaw in the Zig teleportation system.

Love it. Have a /EA 50 for every brute primary. *thumbs up*

Electric Blast: Exhilarating Energy Extremely Eats Enemy Endurance
Dual Blades: Double Dicers Do Damage Deplorably
Regeneration: Rapid Recovery Really Roxxors
Energy Aura: Everyone Execrates EA. WHHHHHHHY?! -
Has there ever been an instance where the Devs had a clear scope of what they were doing and a player, through sheer luck, makes a comment or develops an idea that makes the Dev table go "holy crap! WHY DIDN'T WE THINK OF THAT?!"

Not as cheap as you want, but this is what I use and the only lag I ever get is that one spot in the Vanguard HQ. You know what I'm talkin' about.
Buy this and you most likely won't need a new laptop for three or four years. I've had NO problems with it yet, ATI drivers and all. Runs perfect. -
Same here. Freem ITF. Hamster needs caffeine.
-
Huh, thought it was two underpowered 260's. I have learned something.
-
Quote:
For reference - I'm playing with an overclocked GTX260 SLI setup that is essentially similiar performance to the GTX295 and at 1680x1050 I get around ~45fps in outdoor scenes with long view distance, ~70fps in scenes with medium view distance and ~180fps while doing missions solo inside using all settings maxed with 4x AA and Ambient Occlusion set to performance/medium bilateral settings. If I'm missioning with a decent sized team I turn AO down another notch and the ultra settings down 1 notch (except leaving shadows on shadow maps) so I get around 55fps constantly in missions for smoother team play.
See, I'm getting worse performance. On what is essentially two GTX 260's slammed together. The second GPU is the culprit. Just wish I hadn't snapped my lower front mount fan to figure it out. > : ( -
So, good news and more bad news.
Good news: Switched out the HDD bays on my Antec 900 so now the full bay is on the bottom and the 295 was able to fit quite nicely into the primary PCI-E slot.
Bad news-ish: No change. Luckily, my friend got a deal on a bulk order of Nvidia 480's and he's giving me one at 75% of market. Yay.
Worst news: While switching my HDD bays, one of the wires came out of the fan mount and nearly shorted out my motherboard. Can't get it back in >
My Antec 900 now only has one front fan. Grumblegrumblegrumble. -
Quote:Well, I know my nephew had a problem with one of the slots on his motherboard and it wasn't allowing his graphics card to work right. That's why I thought of trying the other slot.
No winkies this time. I promise.
Hm, I thought of that. The board has 6 PCI-E slots, and I tried it in two of the dedicated x16 slots (though still not the first). It would be a royal, royal, rooooooooooyal pain in my tuckus to move the HD's down into the secondary bay but.... possible. -
Quote:I can understand not getting quite as good communication and speeds by not using the first slot, but NOT SEEING half of the card is a bit of a stretch.Okay, that just eliminated one of the troubleshooting steps.
I'd suggest contacting nVidia and the card manufacturer about those readings then. You may indeed have a defective card.
I'll not ask that you remove the motherboard from the case so that you can fit the card in the slot to see if that's the problem.
However, if it were my system it's what I'd do and have done in the past.
Did all those things you told me to, and no improvement.
(PS - Don't winky at me. I have a condition where I seizure everytime I see one. Teehee)
Edit - What I'll do tomorrow is open up the card itself and see if the small internal SLI bridge is loose or something. Maybe it or something else will stand out. -
-
Hmmmm.
Nvidia Control Panel is only throwing up number for one of the 295's GPUs. Instead of 1700ish memory, I'm only seeing 896. Harrumph. Bad card? -

EDIT: Out of curiosity, are you using a USB or PS/2 keyboard and mouse? Any other devices that might have a "listening" service similar to the ATI HotKey Poller? -
