i know this is a mini thread jack but has anyone got it running ok in xp 64? i havent tried yet

Err badly due to many many gfx driver issues. If you can find 100% working specific XP64 dirvers you should be fine. -
I ran XP 64bit on my craptop for a while. Absolutely shocking 32bit drivers wont work and most of the 64bit ones 2003 & vista fail the OS check (even though xp64bit is mostly 2k3server 64bit). Even stuff like nvidia drivers which specifically say for XP64bit refuse to work.
Had to give up after 3 days.
So as above, it sucks the big one. Vista 64bit is better drivered and a smoother install. -
Ran it fine on my Vista Enterprise 64bit craptop. The only issue I found was the fact that vista's commit charge was 750mb @desktop with no apps running. As the laptop only has 2GB ram, it can run out if you run the gfx settings too high.
But as desktop ram is cheap now, stuf the box full and it'll be fine. -
My best Team Synergy was Team Synergy, the 1st all defender super team way back when. Go 1AT.

Like every one else, sorry to see you go.
Hope you find something you can really get into job wise.
Oh and keep blogging. If you find the next big game, remember where you came from when it comes to beta's

Hmmmm
<-- has entirely failed to notice any of the changes......
Must get the BS/DA out again. -
Hardest to play for me is anything which is not a scrapper or blaster.
I'm a D&D fighter at heart, all I want to do is get in there and mess [censored] up.
Hence anything else is frustrating due to the lack of flying corpses..... -
I find my PB very hit and miss in teams.
Some times you are the shiney blue/white whiring death machine, some times you are a weird floating swquid with the power of a weak kitten.
Rather than being epic, it's more like "you have breezed through 50 levels, not try something a little different" -
I'm doing a lot of this at the moment.
Working on the crafting badges for my main, so my 2nd account "resource gatherer" transfers stuff every other run.
As for crafted stuff, that what I have a base for. -

I got that twitter earlier and can summ it up by going "eeeeep"
Lets hope then and everyone else get some concreete news. Nothing worse than teh intersweb rumor mill. -
I guess the reasoning is on an 8 man team you will kill more than the required ammount if you grind your way there.
Go direct to the av, clear platform etc and beat the av. This'll give you figure of how many you need then just fight back.
On the most recent runs I've done we've gone to the AV then had fun after clearing on top the big towers. Very good with a herder and a few blasters. -
I know some one that goes for the tripple account setup.
fire/kin active,
fire/rad on follow, toggles & pimps +heal on auto
spines srcapper on follow, toggles on I think he has throw spines rather than spine burst on auto.
Not sure if you would need the heals etc from rad though, AM on auto might be useful? -
Last time I checked My main was closing in on 2300hrs. Put it this way I was passed 1000hrs by the time I hit 50....
Just asking about one of the SG guys has over 3000hrs on his main blaster.
But as there are some people out there who play nothing but one toon, there must be much higher than these. -
Definately made of win as the saying goes.
-
Hmmmm.
As said above, you can't enhance the +dmg of Soul drain, you can however enhance the +tohit or use +tohit sets in there.
On one of my builds I've got Adjusted targeting tohit/rechrg, Adjusted targeting end/rechrg & Adjusted targeting tohit/rechrg/end. This is mainly for the set bonus's. I
've also used two Membrane Exposures on their own. But the above type of slotting only works if you have a lot of +tohit from foc acc or set bonus's, otherwise you'll need to add an acc to make sure.
As for Midnight Grasp, On one build, I've gone for 5 hetcomb's and an acc/dmg/rechrg. On a cheaper one it's 5 crushing impacts and an acc/dmg HO. I have been considering slotting 4 mako's and 2 dampened spirits for the +5% dmg buff.
The trouble is the set bonus for having two of the mele sets slotted is rubbish. where on a rnaged or aoe attack you can get some good bonus's but slott 2 of 3 different sets, it doesn't apply that much to mele attacks as it's normall after 3 things start getting useful.
As for the elude crash, doesn't it just give -1 end? So if you have atlas med and a few set bonus's you will have more than 1 end. For example my DM/DA build has 119 base end (or 1.19 as the game sees it) So for him -1 end would still leave the .19 left or 19 endurance. -
I guess it depends on what you are after, I've 4 / 5 slotted my blaster with a lot of sets to get +damage (currently @ +21%) combined with a couple of sets of 5 purplers has given nice bonus's without under enhancing the powers (chucking a HO here and there also helps).
I would suggest you decide what you want out of your slotting and then get to work on mids to see how you can best achieve that goal without horibly gimping your build. -
I solo'd it on both my DM/DA and my BS/DA. The DM/DA had the advantage of a fully IO'd out build and had no realy issues. The BS/DA needed a bit of luck (about 6 in the end)
As stated above though, unless you have goond Res/Def and high regen it REALLY smart if you just stand toe 2 toe. -

I'm afraid I don't know. As since I joined four years ago, I've not known of one to occur. Just visited him by myself, and dropped in from above. Terribly fun, you know.

Up until the last Hami-Fix, the raids happened nightly @ 7pm on Union. I know quite a number of my SG (inc me) amased a huge stockpile of HO's.
Having said that it did get anoying with all the people dropping in for the brawl phase after the hard work had been done.... -
With the merit thing I hope you get enough merit's to buy any recipie thrice over for completing Shards TF1.....
Anyways like some of the features, still want to know which powers are going to be proliferated (en for scrappers, en for scrappers, en for scrappers).
As for the rest, just have to wait for the full details be for it gets thumbs up or down (not that things get silly on this forum with each anouncement....) -
I guess as they are changing the rewards, everyone and their dog will be having a go at getting the fastest times.

If Eden is defective because it can be done in a short time, does that make the Katie TF defective or a couple of the villan SFs defective. I did the majority of the leveling on my stalker by ghost paper missions. Little risk nice reward. By all the above reasoning, very very broken.
Sure they could make the CT ignore tohit roles, make it so you can't buy ambrosia in the same way you can't buy rikti merrits.
I'm sure everyone will then go back to katie or working on something else (Must be able to get the time for the sewer trial down a big chunk).
On the flip side I remember more than 1 eden team I've been on who have failed/given up. So you really don't want to make it that much harder.

Farming Eden is the same: you spend 10mins or so to get rare recipes which otherwise would takes more time to obtain. That makes the valus of 'rare' meaningless in the game
[/ QUOTE ]
Doesn't this in some way mean buying them @ Wents/BM is making the value of rare meaningless?

All my info is from red tomax or the US boards.
As above, 180 is not a lot of time to take GW down. -
Even before some one came up with this particular method, there were plenty of others and it was easily doable in the same time as a "fast katie".
Buy Ambrosia in wents 1st
Taunt the GM's down the holes.
Even before wents, we used to trade ambrosia with our coalition SGs. Even in those pre-recipe pre-wents days we would still take 2 in each to save time.
You could look at it the other way is it "exploiting" to take an 8 man team in on INV, complete it in 30 mins 4 people leave with their recipies and the rest of us spend an hour clearing 8 man spawns for the INF? -
There was a following for the duracell build elec/elecs a long time ago.
But most people want more damage rather than a tiny bit more end.
