So, I signed onto a toon I haven't played in a year, a level 43 Fire/Rad controller named Zaihk on Protector. I did so to play with a friend I hadn't played with in awhile.
When I signed in, I noticed I still had a mission -- "Defeat BOSS_NAME and Guards" on PI. The mission was level 43. I thought "Okay, I'll go do that". The first thing I notice, though, is that my difficulty was set at +4, x8. The last time I used this toon, the difficulty settings weren't yet revamped, and he was on Unyielding. Thought that was weird. I went and switched it to +1, x3, and headed into the mission with my friend.
Here's what we saw.
Didn't expect to see these guys at all. I tried to think back, wondering if I was on some sort of special mission... then I noticed the name "Test Group" as the enemy groupname, and realized something was wrong.
Something that was strange about this was that as soon as we started moving to the other side of the room, the mission completed itself. My friend and I had never seen anything like this before.

I gotta ask -- anyone else seen anything remotely like this before? -

I searched Paragonwiki before making a topic (I rarely make question topics about general gameplay things)... I scanned the Ouroboros page and the subsequent Flashback Missions page but couldn't find any information. Didn't think to look at the Temporary Powers page. Thanks. -
Hey everyone,
Quick question -- if I do an arc using the Flashback system that would normally give a temporary power upon completion of one of the missions (for example, Wedding Band through Peebles), will I receive this power? Or does it take it away?
Also, on this, what if I do the arc more than once through the Flashback system? Can I get another of the temporary powers (if I have one already), does it replace the one I had before, or does it just not reward one? -

How do you get 45HP/sec as a Regen Scrapper? Does that rely on IO bonuses? Because even if I frankenslot Health, Fast Healing, and Integration, I'm only getting 32HP/sec... doesn't seem like average, for me anyway... -
They fixed Alt-Tabbing. That much I know for sure.

Ahh... I really don't care about rep, to be honest. I made this topic just out of curiousity, seeing if there were problems with -repping in the past. I had -21, and I didn't know if that was a lot or a little.

I'm seeing through Mids' that it only lasts 15 seconds. Is that really worth grabbing at all? Or is it worth skipping?

Sorry to double post, but I've got one more question (I know I could edit but then the topic wouldn't be listed as "new" for those who have posted in it/seen it already)...
Carrion Creepers... do they really need any sort of accuracy enhancement? Or do they not miss often? I know the AoE field doesn't have an accuracy attribute, but what about the creepers themselves?
Also, here's my build I've got right now. It's tweaked for price... I really don't have a lot of money, so I can't go for HOs and such (unless Acc/Dam HOs are cheaper than the ones I chose for Carrion Creepers?). This build was created with teamplay in mind -- I'm going to always have a tank in the party when I'm using this toon.
Ignore the enhancement slot levels -- they're not when I'm actually going to slot them. I'll slot what the character needs at that time until it matches this build.

Thanks for the response. On the CCs, I thought for some reason that they had AoE immobs, but that's what Roots are for, haha. CCs just do AoE slow, -jump, -fly... I see that now.
So, what about Roots, then? What happens to KB when they're immobed? Does it work the way it should, or do they get knocked-up instead? Or does it do nothing at all? -

I'm planning on rolling out a plant/kin toon (carrion creepers sound fantastic). I had a quick question, though -- if I use Carrion Creepers with Repel, will nothing happen? Will they just knock up instead of back? Or will it KB?
Oh, also -- is it smart to forego Seeds of Confusion? It seems incredibly useful, but the XP decline...

So, I was just hopping around Steel out of boredom today. I clicked on an NPC. I know that the statistic responses are nothing new, but I hadn't clicked one in a long time.

Okay, I know I play CoX a lot, but 2800+ hours? Really? That's nearly 120 days of gameplay. That can't be right. Does "on patrol" have a different meaning than what I'm assuming it is (hours played total)?

I've got a question. Do the ATI drivers have problems on Rikti maps? I was in an instanced Rikti mission a few days ago ("Save the World"), and in the last room, if I look at the room at the "wrong" camera angle, everything sort of disappeared. Characters were still there, and I could see the green skybox, but that's it. Moving the camera fixed the problem.
Is this normal for an ATI card to do?
