I don't know what it does if you still have the original temp; I've never done one until I'd used up the first. If it works like the Shivan Shard then you'll get nothing since you still had the power... for Shivans you'll always want to make sure you use up all charges before you talk to the Scientist after gathering and processing the samples. Oh, and you REALLY don't want to gather samples, kill the firebase and process them and immediately hit the chopper without talking to the contact... I had a friend who did that once and he was, well, less than thrilled to have to do it all again. We did kill the firebase for him again while he went back around gathering samples.

I searched Paragonwiki before making a topic (I rarely make question topics about general gameplay things)... I scanned the Ouroboros page and the subsequent Flashback Missions page but couldn't find any information. Didn't think to look at the Temporary Powers page. Thanks.
An interesting bit about Temp Powers and Echoes:
You always get the full strength Temp Power the first time you do an arc, even if the first time is a Flashback. If you've finished an arc, and therefore have the souvenir, and the arc name is colored with a star beside it in the mission list, you get the weaker Echo version (when applicable).
If you want a certain temp power, do not do the arc as you're levelling up. Once it's available in Ouroboros, get the arc via Flashback, and once you earn the temp power, open your Team window and Quit Task Force. You will still have the temp power, and you won't have the souvenir, meaning that you can repeat this process and get the full strength temp power again.

It also sounds like "not working as intended", so don't count on being able to do it in the future.
I also don't think that would work for the Wedding Band, as IIRC Peebles doesn't give it to you until you turn in the last mission and complete the arc.
EDIT: But now you've got me wondering if you can get unlimited Amy's by never completing KHTF......
Amy's ward is given on the TF complete, so no.

Ahh, that's right. It's always bugged me that once you used up those charges you could never get it again. Kind of makes it Too Awesome To Use.

I have twice IIRC ever pulled out an Amy on live, once when I soloed the weakened Hamidon in the LGTF, and once in a desperation measure to try to overcome the honoree jerk mode in the same TF.
I have pulled her out on test for laughs quite often.
She is indeed too awesome to use.
