"works best" is very opinionated, as I believe regen works best with either Katana or Broad Sword due to the added defense from Divine Avalanche and Parry. -

Why are you fighting bosses in a hazard zone? If its for the challenge, then yeah that's fine. But the "I want all my abilities in a hazard zone when fighting non-players" whine doesn't convince me that RttC needs a change for PVP, looked at, MAYBE.
Simply put: go street sweep in a normal zone. For a challenge: do so in a hazard zone.
Also in regards to RttC, changes in PVP were brought about to make a more even playing field. (Please no debating about this point, I am in no way stating I approve or disapprove of the pvp changes) WP was always ridiculouly overpowered in terms of regen for PVP. Even with RttC dropping, it stills does have a good amount of regen, just not the godly numbers from before.
So, if you want RttC to not detoggle in a PVP situation, then the -to hit needs to go away. I would also say that the amount of regen gained from it would need to be nerfed as well. Either reduce the amount gained and/or set the target cap at 1 period.

I could care less about RttC being detoggled...but to say it was overpowered before is pretty ridiculous considering you have to stand in melee range to get the regen buff. -
Here is my WP/SS build.
This is a Level 50 respec build.
You can see that I have slotted for +run speed...it's just a preference of mine...I like to set the pace of the team and I like that pace to be fast...I know most people don't do that so there are slots in swift and sprint that you can slot somewhere else.
Also...Focused Accuracy is "unneeded" for most of the gameplay because Rage gives you more than enough accuracy...I always take Focused Accuracy just in case there is tohit debuffs from the enemy.

Was just emailing a buddy about toons we are rolling for double XP. I was leaning toward a Claws/SR toon (or maybe DM/SR).
Futzing around with Mids, I was trying to see if you could softcap SR with just bonuses from IO sets and without dipping into pools (like weave, manuevers etc.). Closest I could come was around 42% melee/ranged/aoe.
Is it possible to hit the softcap with just IO sets? Or would you need at least 1 from the pool sets?

I hear alot about how SR is back to what it used to be in PvP...only good while Elude is up.
So here is my DM/SR build that I plan to use for PvP...Elude will only be down for a minute.
What I'm wondering is will I have enough defense even while elude is up because I only slot recharges in elude?

In mids it's allowing me to have 5 LotG +recharges and the +recharge for slotting six Kinetic Crash.
Is this a bug in Mids or can you actually do this? -

Spines/WP maybe?
Spines for the AoE damage.
WP for the defense+resistance+regen+recovery.

So I took down Romulus with Variant, my DM/SR.
I'm thinking that because this was in AE and not the ITF that it shouldn't count towards my AVs killed list.
It's just that AE is such an easy way to get to solo AVs but I'm not sure about that value of it. -
I know this has been brought up alot...but with the power customization comming...will we be able to shut off the graphics for this and Hasten?
I don't mean changing the graphics in the options so that the user cannot see them...i mean completely shutting them off so that I can run 92.5mph and no one else will see the graphics either. -
I usually never take a Travel Power.
I usually always go for concept over anything else.
All my Scrappers go without a travel power.
I usually build for plus run speed so I normally have 45 to 50mph run speed.
I would probably use Superspeed all the time if it didn't have the graphics. -

FS needs to recharge in 2.508
FSC needs to recharge in 5.676
GFS needs to rechrage in 6.072

Alright, I tried my best to squeeze out the last little bit of defense but I couldn't come up with anything...I figure when you solo you will be a little short but as long as you have one teammate around you will be softcapped.

I was actually thinking of a build that fits this post quite well this morning. A Fire/Shield who only takes the "sword" powers (Fire Sword, Fire Sword Circle, Greater Fire Sword) to achieve a traditional sword n' board shielder. You could throw scorch in since its only one handed, but it'd be more asthetically pleasing without it I'd imagine. Seemless attack chain is priority, followed by defense. GO!

What is the actual attack chain speed of the following:
Shadow Punch-Smite-Siphon Life-Shadow Punch-Smite
Using the exact cast time numbers it is 5.53s...but isn't there an actually calculated time because of certain game pauses?
I believe this was something brought up by Arcana. -
Fitting in those three power pools is going to make it difficult to softcap...unless your not taking fitness also.
Would you consider giving up one of those three power pools for the Fighting pool?
