Thanks for the ellucidation. I guess I was totally thinking about that at face value when I read it.
<-- Very tired, and ready for bed. -
How is that a logic puzzle? Or did I miss some kinda joke?
-
Giving him the benefit of the doubt here: He is a human only WS and therefore wants there to be a tank so that he isn't expected to do it... and the rest was to ascertain that he would actually WANT to be on your team and exactly what buffs his Inherent would be granting.
Is that excessive? Very much so. -
Oh come on, how could it not have gone on that many pages? I was fated to

Hello, im fairly new, only had the game a couple of weeks. ive beein playin on the villain side and was wondering what AT is the easiest to find groups with? i love grouping and usually pick healer or buffer or cc. i was lookin at fire/kin or ice/kin controller or maybe kin/psi defender, are any of these good choices? thank you in advance.

Well, first off: welcome to the game!
Well, when it comes to healing and buffing, there are few sets better than Empathy. However, of your choices, I would think that going Kin/Psi might be up your alley. Fire/Kin controllers are very popular, but some have negative associations with them due to their being used for farming a lot.
A totally out of left field idea may be to roll a Tank. If you are not afraid to play a melee role and lead a team, you should never be short on teammates... folks LOVE to team with a well-played tank.
Oh, and what did you mean when you said "CC"? -
I recently teamed with a Defender who was FF/Dark. He ran the big bubble constantly (almost). I almost kicked him a few times, but then he would kick it into gear and totally shut down the enemies by having them falling all over themselves trying not to stand on each other in a corner. Then, next group would be a disaster.
I kept telling him that Force Bubble is fine, but you can't have it on in ALL situations. It was about 40:60 Good to Annoying ratio. -
Or... *gasp* PIGG-diving.
Either way, it does make one wonder if that particular set will ever get used for anything... It's been sitting there for quite some time. It looks like a hero-port of Ninjitsu in a way, or is it just me? -

Thanks 37 and Backfire, Plyxx had actually already posted that same link, but thanks anyway.

No problem, dudeness.
Always willing to help those new to the game who are willing to learn!Welcome to the game, btw, and enjoy your villainy/heroing.

Here's a question: What stops you from taking SJ and just NEVER using it to its full potential? It would LOOK and FEEL like what you are proposing (at least in my head it does), and it would not require any Dev time.

Once you see the contact in Port Oakes (in this case it sounds like you have Mikey the Ear), you are given a Newspaper that appears on the top of your contact list. Doing a few missions from that will award you a Mayhem mission. Completing the Mayhem will allow you to return to Mikey and get a new contact. This process pretty much repeats as you out-level zones or contacts.

If I recall correctly, 3 slotting Fly and Swift (from Fitness) will cap flight speed. Adding in powers like Lightning Reflexes, Mental Training or Quickness, AFAIK will not make it any faster.
Please correct me numbers people if I am wrong. -
Dude, the elipsis is totally cheating. I don't see any way to

Let us hope that the spawning of the TF in general has been fixed and that the mention of the First mission only was some sort of missed communication betwixt the bug-fixers and the bug-fix-reporters.

People who mistakenly believe that the game -starts-, rather than ends, at 50?

Fixed.
To the rest of your post? You may well be correct. Let us hope that this is so. -
What if the Raid would have two more ending conditions?
1) Time (though it makes little thematic sense for them to just up and leave for no reason)
2) Killing X Rikti (they leave because they have suffered a certain percentage of loss to their invasion force) -
I admit that I am kinda confused what the point of this new ability is when it is achievable at present with current options, and its alternatives are just as unrealistic as the suggestion in the OP... but why ya gotta state your objections in perhaps the rudest way possible?
At any rate, I can get behind the idea to add the option to Teleport TO a teammate (as problematic as the code for that may be... having to not intersect geometry and all). Also, new travel pools are a great idea in general, I am just not a fan of the particular idea in the OP. -
Actually, I believe you can see Arbiter Rein about beginning those arcs as early as Level 40. Also, a respec is issued once you complete the chose Patron Arc so that powers from the PPPs can be added into your build if you have passed one or more of the levels at which they are available.

Pardon my ignorance but, AS? I have never seen a set abreviated this way... is it supposed to be AR? Or am I totally missing something?

Yup it is always the quantity of the last item. I sort by quantity decending before I sell so I only have to move the slider one time.

Hmm, never thought of that... I just always start with the item I have the most of (essentially the same thing... but my way involves more work). -

Well today I was playing my Thug/Posion MM. Well I broadcast "lvl 36 mm lft" like I always do. I get an invite from a random Stalker. I dont usally accept random invites, but since I was bored, I joined without looking at their Veteran Badges. When I get to the AE Building for the farm, **gasp** he sends me a tell aksing about what power set I have. I tell him and he kicks me saying that Thug MMs get everybody killed (despite the fact that I could probably solo most Strike Forces). He was a Zero Month Vet and would probably be a lvl 5 right now without AE.
My story aside, is there any truth in that Thug MMs get everyone killed and shouldn't be allowed on teams?
(Sorry about my grammar, it's not my strong suit.) [/Translate]

Justaris, if you ask a mod nicely, they will usually gladly edit a thread for you once you pass the edit window as long as it is infrequently (which this certainly would be).
(BTW, Nice to be teaming with a WS expert! Hopefully you can give me some pointers as I level up Brother Onyx)

All I can say is...I want to gamble at the Golden Giza. How is it not immersive? Gambling and crime are just made for each other! Of course, you can't cheat...Kinda spoils it.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think a better way to do this would be to have a contact who offers repeatable missions that have you able to go into the Giza and gamble... and cheat with the intent on breaking the house advantage and shutting down the Giza (the contact's goal). That way, it is different, optional, villainous AND immersive.
