    Thanks for that, thought the Melt Armour might come in handy when fighting EB's/AV's, but will relook at it.
  2. Guessing by the lack of response, I have a fairly descent build
  3. I have a lvl50 FM/SD Scrapper who I really enjoy playing I mainly use him for AoE damage at present, but like to see if there are any improvements on my present build for him. I have currently gone the way of the Cardiac Alpha slot but can change if required and helps with the build, I went the witht his Alpha as I have a few toggles running, and with attacks built in can cost end.

    But as the title suggests any help or improvements would be appreciated.

    Is it possible?

    Sorry about lack of reply, been away from my PC, so from what I'm reading aiming for the soft cap for smash/lethal is going to be easier than trying for Melee/Ranged & AoE.

    How will this affect the builds survivabilty? And if not able to soft cap the positional defense, what we thinking the highest we can possible aim for here? Need to work on my build and post it up, try and get it on ere tomorrow as not at my normal computer at present.

    Is it possible?

    With the double xp weekend I decided to roll a Claws/DA, which is currently sat at level 26, throughly enjoying the toon even if there end problems which i had already read about.

    As the subject suggests I have been trying to make the build soft capped, but not having much look so far, I did some digging and found a build by Werner for a Kat/DA (thanks Werner) which has been a great help, I have followed as much as I can from the build trying to get the elusive soft cap. But no luck so far, I have posted my build here to see if anyone can help regarding the primary power slots or just a general critique.

    Any help or information would be very heplful and much appriciated

    Thanks for the replies folks, The_Static_Man thanks for the input regarding changes to the build I have taken your advise and made the changes. The positional defense is alot better now so thanks for that

    I have decided also not to bother with the iduced coma IO, but go with the full set of Blood Mandate! Bit concerned with the one slot for tatics though and the end use? Unless when get the Alpha slot can go with Cardiac which should cover... But not sure yet will see how the MM plays and make desicions later.

    Prae thanks for the feedback regarding the proc's together with The_Static_Man advise also as you can see above I have not bothered with either, instead going with the extra defense.

    I have done some reading on the Defenders forums regarding Miasma, which helped with the build I have below. I am nearly through reading MZ MM guide, which is full of valuable information, hence some of the Proc's seen in the DS powers.

    One question I do have will the "Induced Coma -Recharge" be any use in Summon Demon Prince have placed it there for the time being to see what peoples thoughts are on the subject.

    Something I'm not completely sure on still is the slotting for the Pets, so any information regarding this or what peoples preferences are would be handy.

    Thanks for the feedback and advise Anonymoose, will have a look at the other forums for anything on Dark Miasma as suggested, I'll be honest never thought of that so thanks.

    Have started the toon to get a feel for some of the early powers, and as you say a feel for the pets what they can and can't handle. Reached lvl8 and must say I'm quietly impressed with the MM, as soon as got to lvl6 a increased the mob sizes, as if I was fighting in a team of 3 (0/x3), and not having many problems, spam the heal for the -resist, while the boss/Lt has Darkest Night activated on them, let the pets do the rest

    Only lvl8 but impressed and happy with the toon so far, need to sort out some macro's for the pets which will only help me in the future. So I can click macro, place the radial and click for the pets to do certain actions, which I'll need to read up on also.

    I'm new to playing MM's as mainly play scrappers or brutes, but thought with the dblxp weekend coming up it would be a perfect chance for me to make a MM, as have always had trouble finding playing one due to my scrapper lock in your face kind of style to playing.

    With MM's I find it's alot of micro management... But as above with the weekend coming he's my chance. I have had a go at a build, but as said previously I'm mainly a scrapper/brute player, so I'm sure I have gone wrong somewhere with the build.

    I started out by looking to get the damage up, then the accuracy, then realised I didn't have much resist or def, so started playing around with those, until I got to the point of saying *Ok no clue on MM builds lets, see where I have gone wrong* which leads me to here.

    So any feedback or pointers would be gratefully received, I'm looking at an MM that can solo comfortable at 0/x5 but also can be useful within a team if and when required.

  17. Same problem here, can't enter the server screen, have turned computer off and back on with no joy. Hopefully a Dev will be long soon to advise what has happened, until then, I'll continue to watch the football, with occasional click of the updater!

  19. I have been looking at doing an Invul Brute for a few weeks now, but can't decide on what Primary to take... I like the idea of Dark for the extra heal plust the -Acc, but then again I have a Fire Scrapper and love the damage he puts out!

    Any suggestions or experience's people could offer?

  22. Thanks for the feedback Fury, the changes even though minor help with the Regen which was one the second areas I was looking to improve, so thanks very much.

    Expensive build, but worth it in the end I hope, will keep me busy having a something to accomplish, have almost 600 Mill saved so far for this project. Plus being my main toon, think the work and expense is worth it.

  23. As the title says, I have a WP/Mace Tank currently sat at level 35, before I start purchasing the IO for the build I have come up with I thought it might be a good idea to get some feedback from other players, who have more experience than myself in tank builds.

    When coming up with the build I went for +HP, Regen then looked at where I could improve the Def / Resist a bit also. The main aim of the tank is to be able to survive ( Really you say!) Also on of the things I would like to do is go toe to toe with an AV and give a good account of myself.

    Oh inf not a problem either as this is my main character and will be working on him most of the time.

    Frankenslot means to use diferent IO sets with in a single power, which in turn will give you various bonuses with the different sets being used. With the use of IO sets you can have one receipe which can offer Endrdx as well as Rech, Acc, Dam and so on this is what is so good about IO's.

    There some very good threads on DM/SD builds on the forums at present, with alot of information, and builds people are trying, well worth the read.
