I highly, highly recommend Avast, especially when the problem is revolving around IE. I installed it after a nasty infestation and I haven't had an issue since.

Ok, so when you hit random it does change the skin color? What happens when you try to change the skin color after you hit random?

You wouldn't happen to have your face on "full mask" or something similar, would you?

Make sure your face is actually showing "Face #" and not the name of a mask or makeup.

Scanner missions won't be available until you're outside the start zones (Galaxy/Atlas/Mercy)

Try looking at your contact tab and talking to your first contact (you're probably in Atlas) and doing those missions.

Do you mean hero side or villain side, or both?

I like them all, but I have a much larger number of scrappers than any other AT.

It really depends on your playstyle.

If it's your first character, I'd wait until 20. I've you've already played a bit and know how to get around and play the game, you can start at level 1.

I forgot to mention that if you're going to be running a lot of intensive stuff, it's not a bad idea to run each instance in safe mode. Just remember not to click on options as it'll save your current (crappy) graphics settings. I can get 3 - 4 instances up like this depending on what I'm doing.

You don't need any special coding, just wait until one loads through the updater before trying to start the second instance.

It's helpful to use windowed mode, and personally, I use the " -fullscreen 0 -maxinactivefps 5 -maxfps 20 " flags when I'm running multiples.

When I first started playing back in the beta, I played it in first person because I was coming straight from EverQuest, where I played in first person for years. It didn't take me long to break the first person habit and knock the wheel back a few notches. This had nothing to do with being able to see my male character's butts, by the way.

Now first person seems odd to me and I don't zoom in all the way unless I need to take a screenshot that doesn't involve my character.

There isn't any benefit to playing in first person except perhaps to ease graphics strain. Sometimes during Rikti raids I'll look at the ground and zoom all the way in.

You can use the "subscribe to thread" feature, or (this only goes to 500 posts) click on your name and choose "find more posts".

The first (and only time) you'll need to use /bindloadfile is the FIRST time you log on the character and load the first bind file (/bindloadfile c:\keybinds\bash1.txt). After that, all bindloading will happen automatically in this instance, and you won't need to type /bindloadfile again.

The reason I'm suggesting you change your password(s) is because while they MIGHT let you have this one back, they will likely NOT do it again. Now, it's your risk to take, but I thought you should be informed on the likely outcome.
