Quote:Depends on how the number is being used. It should be "one month" not "1 month." Normally I wouldn't care, or mention it, except for the giant, garish animated banner decrying poor grammar. No, using numbers is perfectly acceptable, especially if you want to set them apart from the text.

That's because they're all set to tray 1. At the left of the bar is a number with < and > on either side. Use the arrows to change them to different trays. You have 9 in all.

Quote:Going Rogue is scheduled for a Q2 release. That's Apr-May-Jun.Well if you're coming back for GR... that's supposed to be released within this quarter.
To the OP: Don't say "Goodbye." Say "Good Journey."
And if anyone gets that reference, I'll likely be summarily mocked off the boards. -
I am also in Canada (but on the opposite side of the country). We've had enough show this year that I had to sweep (not shovel) the sidewalk at work twice since October. Even though I'm smack in the middle of the Rockies, I haven't even seen snow on the mountaintops for a few weeks.

Quote:How about 10 bucks for a travel power at level 4 on all your characters with no power selection required?sigh, which means never... I wish I could pay 10 bucks to get it instead...

Actually, it would be more accurate to say that the market takes at least 10% of the selling price.
A while ago, I had a PVP IO. I listed it for 300 million. Prices dropped, and it didn't sell. I pulled it and relisted at 200 million. It finally sold for 250 million. Were my market fees 10% (25 million)? No, they were 16% (40 million) because of the original listing fee combined with the selling fee. -
Just to clarify for the OP, while this is true for low damage powers like Neutrino bolt, Procs do the same damage no matter what power they go in, or what AT uses them, whereas regular enhancements are a percentage of the power's base. So in a high damage blast, like Blaze or Bitter Ice Blast, a Damage IO is going to be as good as or better than even a purple proc, until you hit ED levels of enhancement, at least.

Quote:The only problem I have with marketing is that it doesn't earn me Inf badges.I don't consider marketing boring per se... I just don't have the patience or attention span for it whereas farming is just mindless destruction of baddies lol.
Farming in the most common ways is boring to me. Spending mowing down enemies that are incapable of hurting me is boring (See: Fire tank on a Behemoth map). My current farm map is a lot of fun because I'm fighting enemies that fight back, and if I don't use my powers and inspirations wisely, I will faceplant. That makes the farm fun, instead of a repetitive grind, for me at least. -
Quote:According to a recent thread, Hami-O's are also on this list. Unfortunately, Hami-O's don't have a buy or sell price at vendors, so if you cash them in during a respec, you get 0 for each.No. SOs, DOs, and TOs are sold back during a respec at FULL PURCHASE PRICE, not what you'd get from a vendor. This is why, prior to respecs falling like rain, people would wait for respecs until a X2 or X7 level, so they could get full price for their old SOs, which bought many of their new +3 SOs.

The /target command and its variants work oddly, especially during a fight. Because it targets the next closer or further person, and people are constantly moving, it can seem to jump randomly.
Furthermore, it can only target things that are on your screen. If you're trying to use it to target things that are off to the side, or behind your camera, it won't pick them up.
If all your targets are on screen and unmoving, and it still doesn't cycle properly, it's either a problem with your bind/macro, or the way the system is parsing it. There have been issues reported with combining /target commands with /pow_exec commands for ages, but as you can see in this thread, they're inconsistent; for some reason, not everyone has them. -
Quote:This might not be necessary, even in a low-acc power, if the OP has enough +Acc from sets or other powers. As far as "5 other proc types": Depending on what the power is, you might need an accuracy in there as well. Just sayin'.
And if the power does damage on its own, slotting accuracy (if needed), 2-3 damage and the rest in procs will do you FAR more good than straight procs.
And if the power is flagged "Enemies do not notice this attack", adding a proc will negate this, causing the enemies to aggro on you. -
Quote:Huh. Didn't realize that. Guess which is the only patron I've never had the inclination to run?Except you get the patron badge from Mako after defeating Ace McKnight, which is about 6 or 7 missions before this one
In that case, I suspect that either this mission is flagged to be undroppable, or the OP was still under a timer from a previous mission drop. But I can assure you that the last mission of an arc is droppable, in general at least; I've done it myself more than a few times. -
True, but we were talking about a contact without a story arc, so I didn't even think about that part.
-
Huh. I never even thought of checking the wiki, even though I remember seeing that chart before.
Is that proc even worth using? It seems like even under the best circumstances, it would have more downtime than up. -
I know that the FF proc doesn't stack with itself, but I have a few questions about what happens if the effect tries to stack.
First, if I have it in two different powers, and it triggers from both at the same time, do they stack (200% total), or is it the same as if the same as if they were stacked from a single power (only 100%)?
Second, just how long is the +Recharge anyways?
Third, assume I have the proc slotted in a power that recharges one second faster than the duration of the proc. If I'm spamming the power as fast as it comes back, and it fires twice in a row, does the second extend the duration of the first (stacked "Doesn't stack from same caster") or not fire at all (power suppressed until previous wears off)? -
Quote:Taking this stance and claiming that we should be able to keep IOs after a respec makes no sense.PS. Some of the features the devs may not consider only come after other MMOs implement such features too. Keeping up with the Jones' maybe a good idea sometimes.
In the other games, when you have Bind on Pickup or Bind on Equip equipment, it doesn't magically unbind, allowing it to be passed on to others when you respec. It stays bound, leaving you with the option of banking it for personal use, not to trade, deleting it, or vendoring it.
We can always delete an enhancement, we can't always vendor an enhancement, but we can during a respec, and when we pull it out to bank it, we can pass it on to others.
I think we have the more lenient system here. -
Quote:If someone intercepted your Inf transfer, that's something totally different. Fulmens was talking about someone selling an item on the market and trying to take out the money, only to have the cash deleted because the person was at the cap.I actually tried that before. I lost about 500mil transferring inf between toons on a dumb mistake and sent in a petition about it. I got a e-mail saying there was nothing they could do about it.
The GMs will fix a problem caused by a system error or oversight. They will not give your money back because you bought the item you were bidding on via the market, even if you meant to buy it from a different person than you actually did. -
Actually, they don't care about your security or threat level either; it's your Experience Level that matters. If you've got enough XP to be level 30, but are only trained to 25, a 25-29 contact will still stop offering missions.

Somewhere out there, there already are big shiny hero and villain buttons. In the meantime, how about these?
It's not my site, but still, please do not hotlink the images; download them and host them yourself! -
Quote:After doing three radio missions, you get the Atlas Park safeguard. That's probably what he meant. There are none in Atlas, it's too low. Did you do the Safeguard mission that doing three Radio missions opens up? If you stop a villain from robbing a bank ( when you enter the mission, the bank is a dollar sign on the map ), you'll get a jet pack for the King's Row Safeguard. And a Zero G pack for the Steel Canyon Safeguard and so on.

Quote:More specifically, set the single text to "Collect Magic Box", "Collect Magic Urn" and "Collect Magic Stone". Set the plural text to "Magic Artifacts to collect".What do you mean, 'string them together' ? They'll display as "2 magical artifacts" in the compass even if they're named "chest" and "tome". That not what you want?
It will show an objective of "3 Magic Artifacts to collect" then "2 Magic Artifacts to collect" and then the single text of whichever one is last.
You must use exactly the same plural text for all three though, or it will split them up. I suggest using Copy/Paste to make sure no typos slip in. -
Mole Point Bravo isn't available at level 35. For some reason it unlocks later, at level 36 or 37. Gain a level or two, and he'll give you the arc.
