  1. The new pvp rules in the name of "balance" put an end to that. So what was 3 times the mitigation, is close to even now depending on the build. So stuff like end drain, mezzes, flying while attacking a grounded target, power pool attacks, and other attacks with long animations rule over having a tough build that can take a hit. The reality is a blaster would be better suited for the new pvp due to the wide selection of attack types and powers that would be of use. I'm just a stubborn scrapper lover that still believes if its a scrapper, there is a way. My mind set is "stop running and stand and fight me!"

When I think of pvp, I think of this. Hence, I stay away from it because everybody don't think like me. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AezDut-...ient=mv-google
  2. I'm not too sure how this would pan out since I haven't gotten around to leveling mine. How about Ice/DB? Two taunt auras, one of them is dmg, end recovery tool, and lovely cones perfect for most ice tank's playstyle. Round them up, cut them up, and watch them drop. Of course, it won't be as much dmg as a scrapper but it will still get the job done and be fun to do... and watch.
  3. Stupid phone won't link to qoute. Perma grounding while attacker stays in the air like panzies is the reason why I would stick to cage fighting in the area and wouldn't step foot in a zone except on a villian to get the badges for accolades.

That's what fire blast and fireball is for. And if you think a scrapper built for pvp isn't going to equip themselves with a way to deal with flyers then something is wrong. Char and rof will keep them in place long enough for them to get close enough to lay the smack down. 6 seconds is plenty of time. Oh don't let it be elm/regen. Bye bye blue bar.
The only way would be an even cheaper tactic and use boost range and stay in sniper distance. A tactic I would use if I ever for some odd reason decide to pvp with my elec/nrg blaster. It would be like shooting ducks in a barrel. What is the fun in shooting ducks? That's why I stick to tekken and soul calibur for my pvp kicks.

But lets be real. A proc'd out Rad/EM would pretty much wreck that scrap.
Char is a hold. Your two proced out attacks won't over power a regen's heals and you won't be able to run away. It would be your worst nightmare.

  8. Watch your mouth you two. Im sure some /regen scrapper slotted for intensive recharge is salavting right now at thought of taking one of you happy go lucky blasters to the arena locked and loaded with char, fire blast and fire ball to deal with that annoying flight/SS combo hit and run style yall like to do.
  9. Finaly. Now to hear from someone else on that team to close this matter. Based on the tank's own words, pine did stuff he didn't approve of. But not once did he give a warning. I'm sure he wouldn't have left that out with his talks of pine having ADHD and all. Seriously, all this could have been avoided with a /tell giving him a warning about taking on more then he can aggro and and a simple "pine, hold up!" In the team chat douring the last mission. So, both are at fault for different reasons. All of that could have avoided with more communication. Now if the reply would have been "screw you. Yall are moving too slow" kicking would have been justified. Well. It is what it is. I've been kicked over someone missreading a comment I made the other day and it reminded me of this thread. I just loled, made a note about the leader being an idiot and moved on. With that being said... Moving on...

Bottom line is, almost all sets perform differently PvP than PvE. So the answer to your question, yes and no. It is a good test of your build in PvP, but means little for your PvE status.
This. Although, fight club style fighting with a scrapper that didn't slot the chance for stun proc in their attacks would be rather interesting because rttc wouldn't toggle off unless they have pet gaze and/or touch of fear. That gives them 5 to 6 seconds of free hits regardless of your mezz protection. And when i16 go live, I'm sure there will be some elm/* scrappers slotting their attacks with end mods dropping your blue bar in the crapper and keeping it there with every attack landed. Sounds cheap huh? Personaly, I don't pvp. That's what Tekken is for.
  11. Too bad other powers have tags on the def debuff res aspect of the power. Here is a more detailed explanation. http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Hamidon_Origin_Enhancements

Check your difficulty. Even though the AE mission scales are set, your notoriety still plays a factor in how bosses spawn. Also, not all AVs spawn to level 54.

If you miss Stephanie's arc, you can do it thru Ouroborus after you hit 26.
Wedding band is res to all. Even psi. And while you are in striga, try to get on a moonfire TF and then finish up the hunt for wolf and vampire defeat badges. They are needed for the atlas medallion. An accolade that gives you a permanent +5 max end increase.

That reminds me. If it is the same as the tanker set, it will have char, a single target 1dmg dot hold. So all you "take pet gaze for sappers" people can have your cake and burn them too.

Lol. Sorry. I couldn't think of how to spell his last name. Peter Griffin would have been funny. But those fights with the chicken are an art form.

Hers look more like a metal version of thorns. The New metal ones have a simple pattern. They still look cool though. http://www.youtube.com/view_play_lis...=coh+comic+con
  17. You should try it on a fire/fire/pyre tank. If you can't do it or barely do it, then you won't be be able to do it on a scrapper.
  18. Ahh... The ease of being able to to build furry with such quick and fast recharging attacks as well as low endurance cost. That's going to be rather fun. Now that I think about it, I may actually roll up a claw/ela brute. Not only that, villians can get the raul weapons at 35 by doing a story arc. No need to wait till 40+ to get gutted by big floating eyeballs. Those claws are so clean.
  19. The scrapper/stalker spines will be able to pick the dominator thorns or a new metal set that was created. As well as change the color of them. The dominator thorny assult will be able to do the same thing.

Been a few times I try to join a team and send a tell that I'm running a such and such scrapper, I get a tell back of :sorry we need dps"...
I just usually reply back... Ahhhhh OK then...
Course I play on Freedom, so its somewhat expected... ;-)
This reminds me of something that happen to me before. There was a call out for dmg for a Dr. Q TF. I replied saying ill join. I got another reply saying ok. A few minutes went by and no invite. So sent another tell asking what's going on. The response I got was "We started already. The leader wanted a blaster" wtf? The broadcast said "looking for dmg" not aoe or range dmg. I took offense to that as if I don't do dmg. Not to mention the fact that I didn't get a reply stating what they wanted to start with. I would have actually switched to a blaster because that's the only task force I've never done. That's about as short sighted as requesting "healers" instead of "buffers". Some people are just idiots. Plain and simple.

Won't get the heal bonuses added to reconstruction but will get them for Dull Pain's heal part.
  22. Why did you take mu mastery over soul? Soul drain could be of good use if you try your hand at scrapyard due to all them protestors being good soul drain fuel and are too low to hit you back. And they just keep comming as long as scrapyard is still standing. With all that recharge, you can almost make it perma. I too plan on trying this with my sonic/rad corr so let me know how it turns out.
  23. I see a plant/earth/soul dom in my future. I have no problem running in to melee range smashing mobs over the head that has their hands full with carrion creepers or too busy fighting each other. Something I had looked forward to being able to for 41 levels on my plant/rad troller will now be able to do at level 1.

So many alts to roll. So many changes to make. It will be a month before I even get to play.
