Can /fire be soft-capped?
To all 3 positions? I don't even want to think about it :P
Maybe just to melee would be a less impossible goal.
Melee is the primary goal, yes.
But would like a good "spread".

Yes bAss_ackwards as a build for a fire/fire that is soft capped to Melee.
I've also seen /Fire builds softcapped to S/L, scary stuff.
They make some pretty unacceptable (by my standards) sacrifices though, such as skipping Hasten.
It's EASY to soft cap melee on a /Fire... as long as you have Katana or Broad Sword as your primary.

You should try it on a fire/fire/pyre tank. If you can't do it or barely do it, then you won't be be able to do it on a scrapper.

Now that Fire Mastery has (finally!) come to scrappers, I am going to start a fire/fire/fire character.
My last few characters have had soft-capped defense and I've been spoiled, so I'm trying to replicate that as best I can with this scrapper.
I am aware it will gimp my offense; I'm okay with that. (I read the other two recent posts about this.)
So my question is, would somebody do me the solid of posting a build that might help me come close?
