Theres many NA players I'd love to team with, but have no idea what servers they play on (likewise one or 2 I may like to avoid).

I may have to join whatever TF etc channels exist for each server and just see what chatter goes on and where I might fit in.

It will be good to have somewhere to play when I am forced to play at non-peak EU times by work.

    World Domination

So, with the server list merge, I pose a quesiton to my fellow Unionites.

Which server do we take over first?
  5. Since I'm planning on migrating over the ocean soon I had thrown serious consideration to leaving the game since EU servers out of hours is not something I was looking forward to.

However Now I can select a (hopefully) welcoming NA server to play on too!
  6. I prefer a "Fortune Buddy" system, but that doesnt cover everyone that doesnt have the pack.

So I tend to just doll it out, but I do find I do it less at higher elvels as any of the effects become less beneficial it seems.

Linky to this amazing piece of info?? How on earth did I miss this, its awesomes!
EDIT: Never mind came across it
  8. Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of running a KM/WP scrapper, having little experience with either set I'm a bit stumped as to the best effort to build for.

Playing with mids I was going to leave smash/lethal and push for energy/neg/fire/cold soft cap. However I feel I could possibly being foolish for this, and I may want to push for Smash/Lethal soft cap instead, but it seems that WP encourages forgoeing that in favour of my initial targets. But then smash/lethal is so easy for melee sets to achieve, given enough investment...

For KM, I'm up for skipping just the knockback and the taunt, and as far as APP/PPPs im pretty stumped.

Colour me confused... I've looked back a few pages for this combo and not seen much, but I'm hoping other people are playing it and can throw some advice my way!

    thanks!
  9. I don't know that one, but a popular one is putting one on auto, and bding the other one to your forward button.

something like /bind w powexecname Hasten$+forward tho I never seem to get the $ sign right first try at a bind, its something like that.

Thatway whenever you go to move forward it will try to activate the power you want.
  10. Can we get a system where when any other EU player unlocks a reward I get it?
  11. Where to start?

for one a reminder that suggestions should be in their own threads, not wall of texted into one post?

    1) Ranged Power Pool: Available in APP/PPPs for melees, because giving them range too early may unbalance things - tank mages etc.

    2) More costume stuff: yay for anime hair would be ace. One piece dresses would probably be hard for scaling reasons and apart from the extra detail on Lulu's skirt part and top part, similar things can already be done. Also be careful you don't get generic'd when you copy manga chracters etc.

3: Whips: they basically said it would be the hardest thing to do at this point in time, each whip animation took about as long as it does to animate a normalish powerset.

    4: scythes: I would like.
  12. Multi-form Kheldians have binds set up to swtich trays depending on what form they switch to.

Modifying that could get you roughly what you want, by having fire powers in one tray and ice in another, and having it switch out the tray when you costume change and activate the equiping power.

I dunno, GG is up there with Eccentrica Gallumbits and Jordan on the intimidatingly oversized things that would have me running away to avoid their gravity...

EDIT: and now I have an idea for a gravity control character...
  14. Pinkuredi was my first character.

An Energy Blast / Devices blaster. She made it to level 20 before falling victim to the delete button after altitis had taken over full force.

I've never remade her, and never played a blaster much again.

    New Pets for I20

    Probably Seer.

it will be the easiest to justify with Demons.
  16. You will loose them as soon as you finish you're vigilante alignment mission.

    Best AoE

In general Fire anything sacrifices debuff over DoT damage. And tends to come with alot of AoE.

Also Electric Melee is fairly AoEriffic, and shields defence gives you an AoE attack as well.

So it really depends on what type of character you want to play...beyond just the desire for AoE
  18. perhaps image shack forces users now to register which domains can access their images so their bandwidth doesn't get fried by image stealy linking and overactive forums. In which case would explain why I also see this while never having had an image shack account, or been to the web page for it.

And would require everyone who hosts there to make some changes.

I dont think its a case of RPers caring only. I don't class myself as an RPer, but look at the choices my Demon summoning Mastermind has?

Maybe I will grab a seer as it could vaguely be swung to suite her powers.

Its kind of along the lines as I wouldnt have a character with a gun, who can throw fireballs, can cover themselves in random dark energy for protection, can read minds and rides a motorbike made out of dinosaur bones.

Its not a case of RP, its a case of wanting concept stuff to vaguely fit. Yet at the same time, im sure a brilliant RPer could justify the above character...

SInce you are doing kinetic most of your attacks knock down anywise and extra enhancements for it are just icing on the cake.

You also want to slot for exttra defense adds.....becasue ninja doesnt have lots and lots of defense..so the extra amoutn helps.

You also want to slot in enahcnements that prevent knock back and knock down....thats one of the ninja flaws.....trust me it gets old quick when you fall down alot.....
I myself used acrobatics and some enehancments to stop the knock back and knock down.....

No matter what you choose to do...remember this:

You are a Stalker....Thats what you do.....you do the things no one else seams to be able to do.

    And also:

You dont do impossible things becasue you like to do it...you do them becasue you can and no one else can.

OP didn't really ask for "how to play a stalker in 10 lines or less" he asked for slotting advice on 1 power. And it looks very much like you tried to suggest slotting something that just won't go in there. Until you read the rest of you're post and realise you've invented a tangent to discuss.

IMO, the 2 non-PVP damages and the knockdown proc rock, knockdown always handy for restealthing.

    QFT.

Are you activating PA, then Hasten then AM? these lost few seconds may account for your guys not being out fast enough.
  22. I'm sure the last time this came up it was pointed out that theres not a single non-interuptable power in the game that roots for longer than the warning time.

And if your stupid enough to go stand somewhere after you've been wanred not to and click off a power, more the fool you.

You want hard work, try keeping yourself and 6 pets alive through the encounter.

its a shame only about 10% of the things that it shows are fully readable. Everyone has rolled it out and its the bggest pain ever having to sit there hitting refresh until you occasionally see something where not a single character needs guessing at.

If the minimum number of people to complete is the minimum number to start i.e 8 then its hard to set up a "failable" situation that doesnt result in a time limit that would also challenge 32 players.

If we look at STF, if doesn't need a time limit, its 8 players Max, at any one time, and thus the fights can be a balanced challenge around 8 people, and failable if the team can't handle the AVs in the last fight.

But going back to lambda, it would be hard to create an encounter that 8 people could reasonably achieve (even 8 massively IOd characters with shifts) versus 32 people, and still feel both have an equal chance of failing.

Now 8 people start the trial knowing theres not some insurmountable enemy at the end they can't possible beat on their own, they just have to work very very quickly.
  25. running a stealth IO seems to maintain some level of transparancy.

Shame the old full-alpha colour combo doesnt work
