Silly but annoying problem with the forums

For about a few weeks now, I have been having problems seeing any images that are hosted on Image Shack on these forums. Be them in signatures, avatars, or pictures in the post itself. All I see is the Frog logo image with an error line of "Domain unregistered, To view, register at imageshack.us".

I went and created an imageshack account, logged in, told it to remember my log in and all that jazz, but I'm still unable to see any of the pictures. I'm most probably missing something extremely obvious with this, but as it stands I can't figure out how to get rid of this annoying problem.

I realize this isn't a CoX or forum specific problem, but I didn't know where to post this except here, lol.

Anyways, any help is appreciated.

perhaps image shack forces users now to register which domains can access their images so their bandwidth doesn't get fried by image stealy linking and overactive forums. In which case would explain why I also see this while never having had an image shack account, or been to the web page for it.

And would require everyone who hosts there to make some changes.

I recommend people switch to http://imgur.com or http://min.us -- ImageShack and TinyPic will IP-block a lot of countries.

Both what Mega_Jamie and Leandro said could be the problem...but both of them are pretty damn stupid if that's what Imageshack is doing...
