  1. Easiest place I know of is Siren's Call.. You can get Sorcerers, Blue Ink Men, Toxic Tarantulas and Mu Guardians there on either a Hero or a Villain.

Also, I would note that when I hunt for badges in open zones, I find it easier when there are at least 3 people on the team... not just because there are more players looking, but I seem to see more bosses in the spawns as well.

Note that +left and +right are strafing, if you want to turn instead, you want to use +turnleft and +turnright.

It won't override WASD because you're not rebinding WASD, they continue to act normally, with just "+forward", etc, no extra bind to them.
I wouldn't bother binding +turnleft or +turnright because they still require a forward or backward movement to actually go anywhere. I also don't usually strafe much without also going forward or backward, so I skip that also. If you bound both forward and side directions, and happened to be pressing both at the same time, then it would detoggle the ninja run instead of keeping it active.. which defeats the purpose of the bind.

And there IS an option for setting it up on the WASD keys without messing up the standard binds. It just takes a couple bind files, and a key to toggle it on and off: (sod stands for Speed On Demand)

    SodON.txt
    W "+forward$$powexecname Ninja Run"
    S "+backward$$powexecname Ninja Run"
    CTRL+TAB bindloadfile SodOFF.txt

    SodOFF.txt
    W "+forward"
    S "+backward"
    CTRL+TAB bindloadfile SodON.txt

Obviously replace CTRL+TAB with whatever key you want to use to toggle the Speed On Demand set on and off.

I agree. Rom only has 3 pets, meaning he can only rez 3 times.. and you will have defeated him only 4 times by the end.

Considering that I count myself lucky if I get 4 of them by the time I reach 400 rep, a 10 minute timer would be the least of my worries.. lol

On a side note.. I just realized that my average of 4 by the time i get 400 rep is fairly consistent with a drop rate of 1/100.. which is good i guess.

That's why I said enhancement, and not power. The main quote said "at all times, regardless of the power".. but you're right.. the example does clarify it further.

Have I just missed seeing that?
That power (and similar ones, melee cones) don't take Range enhancements.. but something like [Energy Torrent] (A ranged Cone), would benefit from it, yes.

Set bonuses apply to the character at all times, regardless of the power into which the set is slotted.
An exception to this is that you lose the bonus when you EX lower than three levels below the enhancements.

A further exemption is that bonuses from "Purple" sets always remain active at lower levels as well.

Then, to make it even more complicated.. there are also special IOs that include a bonus independently, and those are only active as long as the power is active.

I'm not sure.. I remember the Team/Tell issue I described above happening shortly after i12, yes, making more people start to notice it... but I do remember global channels acting this way at some point before that as well.

It turns out that changing the language in the Euro client actually modifies the "Locale" Reg key for you. I duplicated this change in the American client and found out that it does affect the UI settings.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to change the power/badge messages, or the badge flavor text (mentioned above). It seems as though this information isn't actually stored in the client, but (my assumption) is instead sent to the client by the server in the server's native language.
Sounds like what Ten__ said was correct then, which means it looks like you'll have to use those servers directly to test your scripts.

Nope. They fixed the "-1" issue, but only by the fact that it's locked at "+0" now instead. I used to love running it on the highest rating and kill everything on the map, but it's been a long time since we've been able to do that... ever since they removed "Invincible" and added the specialized settings. *pouts
  13. I think it's been that way for a long time. Global channels are skipped while zoning. There have been times in the past where even the Team and Tell messages did the same thing, but was fixed.. and I don't recall Global channels ever getting the same love. I miss messages while zoning all the time.

Also, when somebody DCs (from a TF) and logs back in, the name shows back up in the team list, and is usually followed by a few "WB" messages.. but it seems the person doesn't always see those messages either until they are fully (or mostly) zoned. I've logged back in and heard the sound of a Team message, but had nothing in my chat (possibly for a different reason.. because that part of interface has not even loaded for the first time yet at that point?).

IF it were possible to get it in the future, then YES, it would add another 5 points to your maximum endurance on top of your other bonus... just like Portal Jockey does when combined with your Atlas Medallion.

    3) If you marginally exceed the bonus hit points (like the above example but you take 115, heal, take 115 again, etc) - the results seem wonky. Sometimes it seems that it all counts, sometimes it seems like only a small portion of it counts.
I agree with this. My conclusion is that it's an ALL or NOTHING for badge credit. It seems that if the end result of an attack leaves you within your base hp range, then the entire hit will count, which follows the results you describe in your example.

On a side note, I've also seen "wonky" results with any credit. My hypothesis is that the badge progress status bar is not actually an exact number but a rough estimation, which makes it look like one hit caused more credit than the other. Fact is, the progress bar seems to "tick" just like it always had before, and there seems to be specific increments that it hits along the way, which still gives us a better idea of our progress, but could vary by a few points either way.

I am hoping for the day when we get to run this as an Invincible Kill-All again. Those were fun.

As for this specific event... you know I can't promise Thursdays, but grab me if you see me.
  17. Yeah, I'm just going to use Star'goyle (WS) for this series. I think my storage base has the necessary items also, but I'd rather use my main SG as a meeting place.. It's much older and I like it better. haha
  18. I'm not sure if this will help you or not, but to save you a little bit of trouble, you could probably "Export" the necessary registry keys to a file and "reinstall" them at the appropriate time, without having to open regedit every time.

As for the language not changing in some places.. what happens if you change the value of "Locale"?
  19. This is the only thing I found:
    Changing the Game's Language

But of course it mentions "a registry key that is not present in the US client".

I'm guessing you tried to create it anyway but the US client didn't recognize it? I'm out of any other guesses.

  21. The cap at lvl 50 is higher, at 58.63
1 SO brings you to 51.69
2 SOs should only bring you to 58.2

The second slot should be useful once the cap is higher than your speed.

For comparison, my lvl 27 PB caps at 48.75
Based on that, I'd say it happens somewhere around lvl 34.

Rough Table of Flight caps: (estimated)
    27 - 48.75
    28 - 49.18
    29 - 49.61
    30 - 50.04
    31 - 50.47
    32 - 50.90
    33 - 51.33
    34 - 51.76
    35 - 52.19
    36 - 52.62
    37 - 53.05
    38 - 53.48
    39 - 53.91
    40 - 54.34
    41 - 54.77
    42 - 55.20
    43 - 55.63
    44 - 56.06
    45 - 56.49
    46 - 56.92
    47 - 57.35
    48 - 57.78
    49 - 58.21
    50 - 58.64

The Longbow and turrets should have helped with enough ranged damage to make sure she couldn't heal faster than the incoming damage.

Also having the other 3 tanks turn off their taunt auras and slug away at her should have done the trick.

Did the TF again last night with a more damage heavy team. We did the taunting thing from a distance and she went down like a house of cards.
The Longbow and turrets have to actually be hit at least once before they become active, and I've found that even once they do, they actually don't make much of a difference.

    This.

My bar moved much faster when I upgraded my processor and RAM, even while connecting to the same server on the same time of day. (I play on Freedom also.)

Like Adeon Hawkwood said, Freedom is one of the highest populations, so it may be possible your system doesn't like a bunch of players being around while you are trying to zone in. Then again, if it does the same thing while you are tying to zone into a mission (where no other players would be), then you can't use that excuse, and you'd probably get the same behavior from other servers too.
