OK so here's my first crack at it...
I think endurance is ok with the accolades.
I'm coming up short on recharge for the chained you mentioned.
2036 hp without accolades and 474% regen.
accuracy is a little lower than what i'd like it to be...

haven't really checked, but im pretty sure I could run that chain no problem. I do have consume slotted up for some endurance, as well as CP.
... you don't have to tell me about soft capping a katana...
I till have the softcap kat/regen build I did a month or so ago saved up... ;-) -

Gonna have to look over that Katana/Fire build and see if I could improve on mine...
currently running cap melee with 2x DA, 44 on range and 40 on AOE. could probably cap all with the PvP IO. And I do have enough endurance to run the aura. -
I woulnd't focus too much on regen if I were to do this. First thing I look at is the damage, and I think you got that covered. Then go for defense, in this case, since I know you can cap it would go for that. Then go for HP, followed by regen. You do have the self heal to help your regen up.
jeezzz I forgot I was suppose to work on build for this combo... -
I have both Hover and Combat Jumping on my Kat/Fire as well, and Super Jump and Fly...

ok so i dont have access to mids right now. what are the numbers on those builds? I could probably start messin with this combo when I get home. But jeezz... Dark this, Dark that, Dark everywhere... ;-)

Been kicked a few times on regular teams. I got kicked one time on an AE team just for asking something about AE stuff... geezzz I really need to start messin with AE
Don't think I ever got kicked on any TF before though
And this is one of the reasons I mostly solo... -

if that kat/inv is on the high levels already, I would just stick to that. Cap defense, cap hp, some good resists, and good dps?

Well like most, I play scrappers and I play them a lot.
50's - BS/Inv, Kat/Reg, Claws/Reg, Claws/SR, Claws,Inv, Fire/Shielder, Kat/Fire, and numerous others on their 40's...
And Dark is the devils work... ;-) -
I would probably go Body as well. The KD on Energy Torrent is just too good on a Regen...
