It depends on how they're compared. Bots and Thugs are so close in AoE potential that you might as well call them the same rather than imply that one is definitively better than the other.
Bots do have better resistance and nearly the same defense as Thugs, though. -
In the general case, you would be correct that displaying a different font would be the browser not knowing better.
But in the case of webdings and similar fonts, Firefox apparently knows better than the author, because the author doesn't know jack. -
Number of spawns does not increase, with either rep or with team size. Number of enemies in each spawn does increase. The second and fourth difficulties function as if you had +1 team members, essentially. The actual number of enemies the spawn is increased by depends on the enemy group and in a few cases, the mission in question.

Quote:You give good or bad rep by clicking the little scales icon by a person's post (next to the Online/Offline icon). You must leave a comment in order to give bad rep, but it's optional for good rep.How do you rate people?
How can I dish out bad rep?
Where do you go to look at this stuff?
So much to take in plus dbl exp
You can check you rep by clicking the scales icon on one of your own posts, or in your User Control Panel. -
If you haven't talked to Pither about it yet, a GM can resolve the issue for you.

Well, I learned something from this thread. Firefox won't render webdings

Quote:The forums put avatars on top of another image. In the villain skin, it's a gray block. In the hero skin, it's a gray block with a transparent rectangle on the right side.I'm currently using a png transparent file for my avatar, as you can see the block still exists. I've tried a few different formats and they are still showing the grey block behind your transparent avatar. I've used both IE7 and IE8, they both yield the same thing.
The villain skin's thing looks pretty good for square images (gray border around the image). The hero skin looks decent for avatars with irregular shapes (ie: not square/rectangle), giving the avatar a layered look. -
Click the little down arrow next to the thread

Quote:If you click the link button in the Standard window, and enter a url, you'll get something like this:Thanks for the help.
Can I somehow see signatures AND any images that are in the body of a post, but NOT any images which are in the signature (yet still see either signatures with no images or all of all sigs minus the images in them)?
And is there a way to do that URL thing which doesn't involve manually typing out the BBcode?
The 'down arrow' thing is too damn fiddly IMO (tiny little thing to click as opposed to the whole thread title...I'd have thought the other way around would be wanted more, but I may be wrong), but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
Eco.
[URL="http://example.com"]http://example.com[/URL]
The url in the middle of the tags will be highlighted, so you can just type, and that will be the link text. If you highlight some text before clicking the button, the url tags will be placed around the text you highlighted, making it the link text. -
Quote:Mids' for iPhone is unlikely anytime in the remotely near future. Or even the distant future. The current version will not work on an iPhone. As far as I can tell, the cross-platform version that I'm working on wouldn't work on an iPhone without hacking the phone, which violates the iPhone TOU, and according to comments from Apple filed with the DMCA, violates their copyright (though there hasn't been an official ruling on the subject yet). And even if you did get it to work, the resolution would be terrible.I sincerely hope that Mids never goes the iPhone app route. I will never work again if it does.
It seems that for quick reply and editing, the forum doesn't refresh the page, but instead uses AJAX to send the post content to the server and display the post. But the script doesn't show the avatar, for some reason. -
The only image-related vulnerabilities I can think of offhand have been patched in Windows, and don't work with web-standard images (gif, png, jp(e)g)

You can use [img] tags in your signature, but it appears the image upload feature doesn't work.

I know I've /bugged it at least once, but it's obviously a low priority item. It only affects /Dark Miasma Masterminds, it only affects jumping speed, and it's a small debuff (-20%, vs. for example SJ's +2780% or even Hurdle's +124.5%)

Quote:The result isn't identical to anyone using Threaded or Hybrid view.You're... missing the point.
What I mean is, on the old forums, the Quick Reply box was "always on" and you could just type want you wanted, hit send and that was it... now you have to click a "quick reply" button to reply to a specific user, rather than to the thread in general...
The net result is identical, except we now have to click a button, when before we didn't. I'm just saying it feels a bit redundant.
Oh, right... I was going to post another request, too:
I'd like a link to Social Groups in the Quick Links list

Going to? I'm sorry, my dear, but it's actually coming from!

Americans can't even pronounce Arkansas correctly. Don't expect them to be able to speak furrin wurds.
