  1. Well if you mean the Beast Boy poster at the Carnival (he did join the DP in the comics) and Silky in the Batgirl/Batman prequel then yes. Unless there was another one I missed.

Well during this reactivation period everyone has access to GR stuff as if it was a trial account, level 14 cap for characters started there, so I imagine the GR costumes are also unlocked for this weekend.
  3. OK, did you go with the Asus Sabertooth as a motherboard? I don't want to spend an hour downloading the manual (on dialup) so we can be on the same page so to speak and grab the wrong manual.

A assume you have both the main 24 pin power connector and the 8 pin (2x4) CPU power connector installed. I'm pretty sure you can't accidentally use one of the video card ones in that plug.

Edit: Running on the assumption that you have the Sabertooth, there is a MEM OK! button that is suppose to set the memory timings and voltages to safe settings. I assume you followed directions and installed them into the correct slots.

Remember there is power going to the motherboard even if the system is "powered" down. Only way to truly safe is to pull the power cord (or flip the PSU power switch) and then try to on/off button so all the capacitors discharge.

Check to see if any of the ground tabs on the I/O shield didn't accidentally get inserted into one of the ports, those things always seem to bend the wrong way as the motherboard gets pushed up against it.

If you take out the CPU again, look at all the pins in the socket to make sure none are bent or are stuck depressed.

That's three off the top of my head. However there may be resolution restrictions, storage and/or item limits.

Edit: I found a link to online storage sites. The ones still in business may still have free accounts. senduit seems to be only for short term storage.
  5. Next Avengers was cute.

Never liked the Ultimate Universe but these were OK.

Iron Man and Doctor Strange were different but OK.

Haven't seen any of the Hulk ones.

The great thing about the DC ones is that they are mostly done by the same group behind the scenes who were involved with all the DC TV series. They have excellent stories and the voice direction is great. Voice cast and animation styles may be different but the same level of quality is there.
  6. OK, a card that supports DirectX 10 class of hardware is a starting point. nVidia 8xxx, 9xxx, 2xx and 4xx series. ATI HD 2xxx - HD 5xxx series.

However that said there is a world of difference between an 8400GT and a GT 450 from nVidia. Back before Ultra Mode came out the word from the devs were the nVidia 9800GT level of performance was their low end choice for UM settings on their minimum.

Edit: Basically any of the cards in the top 8 tiers listed here. Of course closer to the top, the better the performance. For the most part, they require a reasonably sized power supply, unlike those found in most store bought PCs.
  7. There was a long discussion about revamping some of the old costume pieces and faces. It's possible we may see some of these in the near future.

And General Zod? Really? He's cool...I guess...kinda...but HE'S BEEN DONE IN A SUPERMAN MOVIE BEFORE!!!! OMG, COME UP WITH SOMETHING NEW FOR A CHANGE!! Brainiac, Doomsday, Darkseid, Mr. Mzxyzxtplwtf, ANYTHING but Luthor or Zod.
That's because the general public only know of Lex Luther and General Zod. While those who watch Smallville may have been exposed to some others from Superman's rogue's gallery, in a sometimes radically different form, for the general public at large, that isn't the case.

Artie = Boy in wheelchair character - Had fantasy sequence
  10. Sorry, I was talking about the gigabit Ethernet chip found on the motherboard, they all have one, or two, nowadays and they are usually wired to one of the PCIe lanes off of the motherboard chipset.

Like I said, broadband, even what passes for really fast broadband in the US, doesn't come close to to saturating even an old 100Mb/s Ethernet port and PCI can handle that easily.

Remember the Devs have a history of throwing out Issues to match up with other MMO launches: Issue 12 launched the same day Age of Conan did and Issue 16 launched about a week after Champions Online. Since DCUO is launching November 2nd I'd expect to see I19 and/or 2xp weekend to happen within a week or so of that date.
Well that date isn't likely anymore.
  12. Often the gigabit Ethernet chip is connected via a PCIe x1 channel. Even the first version of PCIe is fast enough for gigabit.

However since we are talking broadband internet, that caps to what ever you are subscribed to. A 20 megabit connection is 1/50th the bandwidth of gigabit and 1/5th the bandwidth of the older 100 Base T standard. Even 802.11G over a short distance would be fast enough.

    Let me in

It's very American not to watch a live-action film subtitled, and sometimes even dubbed since syncing mouth movements tend to mean rewrites to fit the dialog to the mouth.

That leaves recreating the film from scratch, whether it's J-Horror, French comedy, Argentina Horror or a Swedish Vampire drama. If it's done with respect to the original source and if the original creators had some input in this remade version great.

If subtitles aren't a problem for you, by all means watch the original yourself. But if there is a unique and original film in a foreign language the only way a lot of people in the US will watch it is in it's remake version. Even a dub of the original movie would likely only play in "art houses" and not the megaplexes.

The only "art house" near me closed earlier this year and the chain that owned said they would be showing those films at their nearby megaplex. That lasted about a month and now instead of four off market films playing for a few weeks at a time, we are lucky to have one lasting more than a week.

Except we all know that teenagers in movies are actually 20 somethings so adults are not uncomfortable by the nudity.

Oh wait, that's the Porky's films.

Anyways my point is as a teenager, she's too young to play a teenager.

    First Archetype

Scrapper/Brute I would say is the easiest. Blaster have glass jaws but if you play with a run and gun style then they can be fun to solo as well. Closest thing to a blaster on the CoV side is a Corruptor.

As for Regen as a set. I don't really mind it the click powers, most of the time I forget I have them unless I'm going up against an Elite Boss or Arch-villain. Hit Dull Pain before attacking, Reconstruction post battle and Instant Healing when attacking the end boss.

Willpower is has a bit from each of the three ways to mitigate damage other than simply taking out the thing doing the damage quickly. Dodge the attack with defense, resist damage from the blows that hit and heal that damage quicker than normal. But where defense and resistance is all about attack vectors and damage types, healing universal. Yes, you toggle up and forget but lots of toggles cost endurance that you may need.
  16. In this game it'll do nothing since the implementation of PhysX in CoH/V/GR doesn't recognize nVidia's GPU implementation.
  17. You will likely be limited by the motherboard graphics.
  18. ... tiny RC cars, infrared night vision goggles, powered exoskeleton.

Yea it's the baby brother version of that shuffle mech that looked like it came from Battletech but missing the arms. Feet never never actually leave the ground, hence shuffle mech.
  19. Here is a direct link to the one Hero_EX tried to linked to.
  20. I didn't consider the 70s WW TV show camp. I remember it being a serious as The Six Million Dollar Man or other action/adventure shows on during family hour. Yes you had the teenage alien prince/princess hiding on Earth plot but during the 70s that was a standard plot.

The did change the setting from the 40s to the present between the 1st and 2nd season when it switched from ABC to CBS. I think during it's last season they tried to make it more appealing to teens (like it needed to). I think the couple of Wonder Girl episodes happened that season.

Edit: Nope, just looked, Wonder Girl was season one during WWII and Nazi fighting.
  21. Finally saw this episode today at the library (they have broadband). The over reliance on reproducing the original Music Videos detracted from the episode. NO induced fantasies are fine just try something original. The Madonna and Lady Gaga episodes were 10x better just by touching upon their videos without duping them exactly. Plus those episodes included other cast members and not MV extras.

Rachel's song at the end worked because it wasn't trying to be a music video but more of a scene from a musical.

    Weak episode.
  22. Bump? You got two very good suggestions.
