They sting the **** out of you. Teleport takes concentration. Yes it's an annoying feature; it's to insure you fight the enemies in that room(and thus get Ambrosia for the final fight).

Quote:Eden trial is included in list of May's WTFs http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=251519
Does it mean that 39-41 level starter no longer required?
You DO realize how that sounds right? "Eden trial is included in the list of May's (What the F---)"
I don't know if this is tragic or funny.
both, I suppose...
Eden trial is just terrible as is. It is still bugged. YES, you still need a lvl 39-41 to start it. It also only grants 2 merits. I'll be doing other things that week. -
Quote:For this reason, my genies required 10 words or less. Wishes are so dangerous in D&D (oh the Humanity.)It is quite literally pages long. You have to be very specific with genies, y'know.
Efeetri? Well now THAT was danger. They let you dig as deep as you want; the more complicated the wish, the worse the twisting. (Oh, The Dwarvity, Hobbitity and Elveny!) -

Quote:I get no pop up box. Either the game freezes entirely or back into Windows Desktop as if the game just ceased to be.If you are getting client crashes (as opposed to LCTM), please send in the crash reports. This is the box that pops up, asking what you were doing at the time of the crash. I know many people assume those reports get sent to a black hole, but we do receive them and pull useful information from them.

Since i20 launched, between all my characters:
"Gimp" table (10 threads) -- Once
Common Table -- Four times
Uncommon -- More than I can count
Rare -- Thirteen
Very Rare -- Eight
I have gotten more Very Rare than Common. I'm beginning to hate getting the Uncommon table, because that's 8-10 threads(almost always 8) versus the 10 of 'gimp' and 20 thread value that a Common is. -

Quote:I receive the Uncommon table more than anything else. Heck, I get Very Rare more often than Common. I often rather get the 10 threads table because Uncommons usually only breakdown into 8.Now, I'm not one to start consipracy theories or note stealth nerfs but ever since the last patch I've been getting screwed at the end of the trials.
Over the course of the weekend. I ran 11 trials and receive 9 Uncommon Reward Tables and 2 Common Reward tables.
I was on the AV team, the Ambush team, etc. No matter what I tried, I still received these terrible Reward Tables.
Does this echo anyone else experience? -

I joined a league formed in Pocket D to run a Lambda Sector. However, I never received the prompt to join when the league leader started the trial. Everyone teleported to Lambda, but I was left behind with "you have quit your team" and "you are no longer part of a league".
The LFG popped open, and I was left behind.
Why does this happen?! -

In both the BAF and Lambda my Cardiac Boosts do not function at all. The Icon appears under active effects, but the enhancement screen shows they are not applying to any powers at all. I confirmed with others in the trial their alpha were not function either.

Quote:Slotting for Mez resistance helps. It doesn't prevent holds, but the less time held or slept the better. I always slot the Aegis Unique in Epic Armor, and an Impervious Skin +7.5% mez resist if I can.how can I build up protection against sleep and hold for say a fire/kin or fire/rad controller?
I've tried the psionic mastery "Indomitable will" which gives a non buffable amount of (stun/sleep/hold/confuse/terror) protection 1:30 and with max recharge that leaves you unprotected for 1:30 assuming you have auto-cast on. imo this is so-so at best and a 1/4 second sleep is just as bad as a 10 sec sleep because your toggles are still down.
I can run a TF with say my ill/kin and never sleep once through the a whole TF but once I bring a character with either "hot feet" and/or "choking cloud" they sleep on the job all the time or are being held.
Please don't tell me to bring "break frees", I can use 20 on a single TF mission and you can't keep running back for more while on a TF. ( for AE mission I can see doing that ). Is there an equivalent tot he Karma knockback protection but for sleep and hold?
Also, just getting your Defense up helps immensely. They have to hit you to Mez you. -
Quote:So just having got my ss/inv brute to 50 I considering the best alpha slot option for him( i know best is subjective) I originally was going to go spiritual for the recharge which is rather hard to get on an invuln (after getting all those def bonuses) and the heal portion boosts up dull pain (bigger heal and more hp) and having energy mastery does help end issues. However cardiac does look tempting with the ability to be free of end problems (and getting a little res to toughen him up). Not to mention nerve boost up def (all that acc would be a waste tho).
So how do you decide which path to go??- There isn't enough Defense in /Inv to warrant Nerve.
- Spiritual helps Offensively more than Defensively.
- Musculature can add +End Mod if you go Radial(Stamina, Superior Conditioning and Physical Perfection)
- Cardiac helps the most, I believe, solving Endurance issues and boosting Resistance(the bulk of /Inv). The range component can also be handy for Hurl, Laser Beam Eyes, Taunt, etc.

Quote:You're thinking Active Defense.I believe the Hams in Praticed Brawler also give Defense Debuff Resistance. Two puts me around the SoftCap. The regulars Defense IOs slotted also help put me at the 45% SoftCap.
Practiced Brawler grants no DDR at all.
EDIT: PB does grant DDR in PvP. -
