  1. As the title says I decided to dust out my old DM/nin stalker and even made a build for him. Now with acrobatics nerf coming I decided to drop it entirely and replace it with 2 KB protection IOs. I'm not looking forward to very active PvP at the moment so I think those two IOs should keep me on my feet most of the time..

    As for power picks, I took stealth fairly late because only PvP I'm thinking of doing is mostly 1v1 arena with friends and maybe in RV sometimes. I could swap it around with smoke flash for PvP in WB though.
    I also took soul mastery mainly for dark blast (better than shadow punch) and the cool hold which might help me to some further damage with crits.

  2. Well I was thinking of hurl first but the animation time was what put me off. And it doesnt really do any spectacular damage. For hand clap... Foot stomp + CE should be enough of melee damage mitigation already I'd think.
    And aid self is something I so far havent felt a need for. I dont really solo and most teams have some forms of heals or buffs so hoarfrost is most often enough. And permafrost is basically there for the slow and fire resistance. Slowed tank isnt as useful to the tank as a full speed tank
    Also I dont think the 39% fire res I have with that build is bad against fire demons etc.
  3. Well as you can see conserve power isn't a high priority power in my build (only took at lvl 47). I mostly took it to deal with the occasional -recovery debuffs I might get and find energy absorb isnt enough. What would you recommend to take instead of it?

    Oh and are the power choices ok?

  5. I got a lvl 34 ice/SS tank and I really like playing him (cant wait for foot stomp ) and I've been thinking of respeccing him. This is a quick build I made on Mid's. Any comments/advice?

  6. I just got my sonic/psi defender to lvl 44 and I'm planning to do a respec. The problem is, I cant decide between psychic wail and liquefy. I barely ever use liquefy but I'm not sure if psychic wail is worth it dropping all my toggles (sonics and leadership).

    Help me decide!

    Well I highly doubt you're going to find an excellent claws PvP build anywhere but I'd suggest to check this guide by Aurrius
  10. So, I rolled a brute an hour or two ago (EM/WP as the title says..) and I'm enjoying it so far. I'm going to build it to be mostly a solo toon for the rainy days when I cant find a team.

    And so, I got a few questions to ask...

    1) What's the best way to build fury as an EM brute?
    2) How to slot my attacks with SOs?
    3) And what does this build look like? Got some sets I thought wouldnt cost that much (sets I could afford pretty much the moment I'm lvl 50).

  13. Stone might be the better one, you get so much AoE KD/KB you can pretty much keep the foes on their butts for a whole fight this also opens up the possibility to use aid self easily in the middle of a battle

    From DA you need 5 powers, the rest is optional.

    Obsidian shield

    Oppressive gloom

    Rest is all up to you, I personally wouldnt get cloak of fear (end hog) or the self rez (just carry a wakie..) but death shroud could be good for AoE damage and the stealth for stealthing

  16. Sonic has buffs and debuffs so it loses out on psi resist.
    FF has only buffs (and useless weirdo powers) so it lacks in the debuff front.

    EM vs other stalker primaries, well, it is balanced on paper because it uses more endurance/power and has higher recharges so it is better for PvP (spike damage ftw) than other stalker sets. For PvE it loses though because you need dps in PvE instead of spike damage.
  17. The ranged set in focus (+regen, +maxHP, +rech and some +dmg), melee and PBAoE sets for more +rechg. You should aim for at least 60% +rech total to get dull pain perma and that's basically it for a regen ;D

    Go kin/sonic/power or kin/psi/power if you want to combine end drains with good damage as a defender.

  23. Take shiver and move the slots from RoTP to it. RoTP doesnt need any slotting at all, 1 recharge and you're good to go.
