Ice/SS - respec advice needed
Does no one else play an ice/SS tank?

I think one of the more important things when asking for advice on a build nowadays, is putting how you want to play your tank? Mainly PvE, PvP or a bit of both?
I don't have an Ice/SS tanker...however do have an Ice/DB tanker at level 35 and an Invul/SS tanker at level 50.
If you intend to focus on tanking, then Conserve Power isn't so much needed as Energy Absorbtion recharges relatively quick and you're able to regain 100% energy from 3/4 foes (if slotted appropriately and with Hasten).

Super Strength for "scranking", then all is needed is Jab, Haymaker, Rage, Knockout Blow and Footstomp (all of which you have)! They do take quite a bit of endurance, especially if you're cycling through them relatively quick, which I assume you're wanting to do (since you've taken Hasten). Still without Conserve Power, you'll find Energy Absorbtion is enough to get you through.

Well as you can see conserve power isn't a high priority power in my build (only took at lvl 47). I mostly took it to deal with the occasional -recovery debuffs I might get and find energy absorb isnt enough. What would you recommend to take instead of it?

Power choices look fine to me.
You have all the required power choices for Ice.
Super Strength, the powers you've chosen already are all you'll really need.
Alternatives:
Super Strength
for added fun...used to have these previously with my Inv/SS tanker.
Hurl is almost equal in damage as Haymaker and provides a -fly. Animation times are long and the boulder you tear from the ground could've been made to look bigger.
Hand Clap is a lot of fun. Although not providing any damage, the disorientate affects are very reasonable. bit of an annoyance with the KB affect.
Ice Armour
Permafrost I've seen some Ice tanks not take this. If you miss this out, along with Conserve Power. you can possibly take in consideration Aid Other and Aid Self.
Icicles is nice for that little bit of damage. Plus it helps those mobs kept aggro'd to you.
Hibernate you can possibly move down the selection so to include Tough and Weave in a bit sooner?
Fighting
Boxing apparently has a very minor chance of knocking toggles, where as Kick only does Knockdown.

Well I was thinking of hurl first but the animation time was what put me off. And it doesnt really do any spectacular damage. For hand clap... Foot stomp + CE should be enough of melee damage mitigation already I'd think.
And aid self is something I so far havent felt a need for. I dont really solo and most teams have some forms of heals or buffs so hoarfrost is most often enough. And permafrost is basically there for the slow and fire resistance. Slowed tank isnt as useful to the tank as a full speed tank
Also I dont think the 39% fire res I have with that build is bad against fire demons etc.

I got a lvl 34 ice/SS tank and I really like playing him (cant wait for foot stomp
