You see this is exactly what I disliked about the old Hami raids. When the 'fun' part is setting yourself on autofire, you know the raid isn't set up right.

I very much prefer the new Hami.

the 5th are back, and boy are they made at the upstart council. Steel, Boom, IP all over the place the council are attacked by the 5th.

    Tohit

There are several click self-buffs (aim, build up, follow-up)

There are fewer self-buff toggles (targeting drone, leadership-> tactics, which also affects allies)

There are some ally clicks, like fortitude which can be given to you.

All of the above can be slotted with tohit biff enhancements which increase their effect

There is one special IO in the Kismet Set that can be slotted into defence powers and despite its name it gives a 6% tohit buff for 120s after a power is active.

In attacks you can slot accuracy enhancements. I'd recommend 2 DO accuracies from 12 to 22 then at least 1 SO. (or equivalent with IOs)
  4. How many mobs does a typical level 10 defeat ? Not that many admittedly, but some and there are lots of level 10s

How many random merit rolls will a typical level 10 roll ? Maybe one if they push to do it.
(This is outside of dedicated level 10 farmers with XP off purely for rolls)

There is a supply albiet limited for the Pool As at 10

There is near zero supply except by direct purchase for the zephyrs. And if you are direct purchasing for your own use, that's not coming to the market. Direct purchase for sale has better options. Net result near zero supply

No supply, and a decent demand (for the set bonuses) = high price.

    Arena wherever?

Arenas still have a purpose, for example the arena stores for buying the temp powers and inspirations cannot be accessed via /arenalist
  6. Heck both sides can run to a jetpack vendor these days.

The 2 inspirations from the tutorial when sold will more than cover the 10 000 inf necessary.

With Ninja Run available at 4 as well, lets just say City Traveler (which I have) got a whole less useful for me.
  7. An improved healing set bonus will not affect the regen of a willpower scrapper (or any regen in fact)

    <bonus answer>
It also doesn't affect the healing of powers tagged [ignore buffs] which are usually the heals with a little bit of toxic resistance in, such as regeneration's reconstruction.
  8. You (the OP) are making the fatal error of examining a market as if it was a store.

It is not, it is a market.

High prices are a problem at a store, as you (generally) only buy there.

High prices are significantly less of a problem at a market as you both buy and sell there. In fact every single sale on the markets here is a transaction that is both a purchase and a sale to a player, and meets the sellers minimum accepted price.

You may not wanty to pay say 100 million inf for an IO, but there are others who do and enough people willing to accept that 100 million with a happy smile on their face.

The easiest way to afford what you want to buy, is to sell enough of other things to pay for it.

Check the market guides for easy ways of making inf.
  9. Steadfast and Karma are pool A (Mob drops/bronze rolls)

Zephyr is pool C (TF/gold rolls)

    FF Question

Luck of the Gambler IO set.

From the context the +7.5% global recharge special IO is what is being referred to.
  11. <obvious question>

Was your character exemped to more than 3 levels below the level of the IO ?
  12. On all the time.

Example, my kin/dark has hers in increase density (an ally click buff). It functions for her when solo.

    http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Table_of_Special_IOs

is a great resource for determining what special IOs work under what corcumstances.

You may well be right on this, and I awiat the OP to clarify

Good advice as always TopDoc in the rest of the post.

    Vet rewards

On 3 of our household accounts, the rewards drop on time every time.

On my 'main' account, I have had issue with the last 4 or so, including requiring a petition for my 60 month one.

    Salvage
    Minion should be 8% I'm seeing 8.13%
    Lt should be 10.64% I'm seeing 10.69%
    Boss should be 25% I'm seeing 23.16%

Common:uncommon:rare recipe ration should be Common is 78.05%, Uncommon is 19.51%, and Rare is 2.44%

I'm seeing Common 74.6%, Uncommon 19.33%, Rare 6.06% (discounting the 2 purples as we still aren't sure about how they factor in)

I'm seeing more than twice the 'rares' I should on paper, but its not actually outside the 95% confidence interval.

I'm not discounting anyone's perception, but you are going to need good strong statistical evidence to convince me that there is an issue when my own data is showing such close to expected results.
4 recipes out of 30 missions is one heck of a run of bad luck when set for 4 players.

Best way for purples is doing exactly what you are doing, soloing large sized groups. Drops are not as good when teamed, so TFs certainly aren't the optimal route to purples.
  23. In one of the last 2 Issue betas Castle was experimenting with 'Hit boxes' on a Giant Mech.

There is hope for this concept and the Devs are working on* this or something similar.

*note: working one doesn't mean it will ever see the light of day if it just doesn't work, is unfun or simply is too much effort for the investment.
