I'm looking for two level 10 Blessing of the Zephyr recipes and will pay 150m for each.

This is on Guardian, blueside, but I have market bids up in case you are on another server.

Got them. Thanks, all

For whatever reason, those are very expensive compared to the Steadfast and Karma -knockback IO's. Maybe it's because just about everyone has a travel power so they are more convenient to slot.

Steadfast and Karma are pool A (Mob drops/bronze rolls)

Zephyr is pool C (TF/gold rolls)

Beyond that it seems tougher to get the 20 merits for a random roll while staying at level ten than it would be to get the drop from some mobs.

Also merit cost as is 75 for Karma, 240 for Zephyr so the price does sort of make sense.

Also the defense bonus is tremendus for 2 full sets. One set for combat jumping, and the other set for Super Jump.

It's level 10, so you can have that extra defense as low as level 7.

And it gives a cool semi transparent buff icon on the icon bar. =) worth the 150 mil

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Okay, but why would that affect the price? The Trap of the Hunter pieces in Pool C are still considered garbage. Since the usefulness seems identical, aside from positional defense builds, why the huge premium? Are there that many people out there itching for the full set for the defense bonuses??

How many mobs does a typical level 10 defeat ? Not that many admittedly, but some and there are lots of level 10s

How many random merit rolls will a typical level 10 roll ? Maybe one if they push to do it.
(This is outside of dedicated level 10 farmers with XP off purely for rolls)

There is a supply albiet limited for the Pool As at 10

There is near zero supply except by direct purchase for the zephyrs. And if you are direct purchasing for your own use, that's not coming to the market. Direct purchase for sale has better options. Net result near zero supply

No supply, and a decent demand (for the set bonuses) = high price.

Gratz on getting them OP!

I have a question, though. Is it still possible to use Ouro to exemp for merit reward rolls? I'm considering doing this to get procs and global pieces at level 10.

Unfortunately, no. Random rolls with always drop at your actual character level or the highest level at which the recipe drops, whichever is lower. If a 50 exemps to level 10 and randomly rolls a Zephyr -KB, it will be a level 50 recipe.

I think Cat covered supply pretty well, but I'd like to expand a little on demand. BotZ are VERY popular on high-end builds. They provide in 2 or 3 slots positional defense bonuses that normally require 5 or 6 slots (and most characters have 1 or 2 powers that can take them already). Most people aren't to concerned about keeping set bonuses when exemping down (although some are) and so will tend to purchase the level 50 versions of the other two IOs in the set (which are in much better supply). However for a character who doesn't have natural Kb protection having a Kb protection IO while exemplering is extremely useful. Therefore for a lot of people (myself included) a low level BotZ Kb protection IO is worth the cost to save a slot.

Yes. BotZ is the only set that breaks the pattern of large positional defense bonuses being a 5- and 6-piece bonus. On my squishies it further fills the -KB role, saving me an extra slot. 150m is pretty cheap for anything that saves me 5 to 6 slots.

Influence, merits and tickets aren't finite resources, you can always get more. But currently there's no way to get more than 91 slots per character, which is the final cap on how much power you can cram into it, so slot efficiency gets to write the price tags.

Yeah, I just found out. Funny thing is, I rolled a BotZ: KB piece, but it's level 28, which was my character's level.
