Level 50 Elec/Elec Blaster.. great at sapping !! fun toon.
I tried a Kin/Elec.. got it all the way to 50... sucked.. terrbile at sapping
Then rolled a Elec/Kin Curruptor.. all the way to 50,, sucked less.. but still sucked..

Then I rolled a Elec/Elec Dominator... SapTASTIC !!
Also have an Elec/Psi Dominator... also SapTASTIC !!!

Im ticked we cant turn Threads into Shards.. I have some stuff that is a few shards away from being made but no one is doing Shard content stuff now..

I stuck to Cardiac because it gives the greatest boost overall. The defense boots you are going to get is going to be very very small especially if you are already at the softcap. You might go spiritual as it could probably get you very close to Perma Hoarfrost and Enegry Absorption recharging faster. Just keep in mind faster recharge usually leads o faster end drain.

Uberness is overrated IMO. Ice Tankshave several survival tools. Use them all.. Defense is one.. Hoarfrost is another.. Hibernate is another.. and then depending on your secondary you might have some mitigation there as well. Use all the tools at your disposal. use Inspirations.. thats what they are there for...

As I understand it all judgement powers do the same damage

The reward system should scale upwards depending on what tiers you have unlocked. If you have already built a tier 2 slot of any type thmen the chance for rare shoulkd go up for you so that you can actually progress. The same goes for tier 3 once you arrive there your chance to get a very rare drop should scale up as well.

I dont know if that can actually be done.. but I think its the way I would approach it..

The cost to make just a rare is ridiculous.. 199 MILLION influence.. 100 threads AND a bunch of salvage... ridiculous.. and I have a lot of influence and I STILL that that is outlandish.. 25 million and maybe 60 threads would have been more reasonable for a rare IMO..

Father Xmas you are 100% correct. In all honesty I dont have a preference because anything I get will be better than what I have now. I just really dont know about AMD chips. I have heard they are good ( not as good as Intel) but function very well.

I mostly game and browse the web and email. I dont run a lot of apps or do video editing. Een my games I mostly play CoH, RTS games ( which I love ) and I want to play the Star Wars MMO when it comes out. Thats pretty much all I am going to do.

I was a little concerned about the small case and heating up because I will play for a lot of hours at a time. I am seeing some XPS 9100's in the certified refurbished area which are lower in price and I can get a monitor anywhere. They even have a few certifies refurbished ones as well. Thats one way I can save some money.

CNET reviewed the 7100 and gave it pretty good marks for a mid range gaming system.

Thanks I did already find two of those Dell Couppns which will give me free shipping and another 100.00 off. Im still just debating what to do. I tried upgrading one other offer. It wasnt worth it. Im gonna check the refurbs !

that looks like a great mobile workstation but I really dont want to play on a "laptop" the specs look good however I am really more interested in a decktop PC.

Im just trying to figure out what the best deal is. I tried configuring it lower but it wasnt worth it. Im looking at one other but I dont think I can configure it so that its a good deal. Either Option one is better because its cheaper or Option 2 is better because it packs more punch

I tried to configure it for a little less but it seems I am better of just getting the top end one. The only savings is for the one with the AMD chipset and I really know anything about AMD. One of my thoughts is that anything I get will be better than what I am using now, so maybe I save a few hundred bucks. Then the other part of my brain says the other system is more than you need so it is a little future proofed, if anything.

they are Dell's but the pricing is pretty good and I can get financing for them.

I am looking at two options. Here are some of the basics.

Option 1

Its an AMD 1075 chipset and Ati HD 5870 graphics card w/ 1gb on the card
8GB3 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz
1.5 TB hardrive

The second is a i7-930 same graphics card but has 12mb of Ram and a 2tB HARD drive. This comes with a much better sound

Both are dual drive Blu Ray and Dvd Rewriteable drive.

The main issue I have is that the AMD one isnt really expandable and because of the mini tower I am a little concerned about heat buid up.

The second one is a full sized case and it has a Intel chipset and more Ram. It will be about 350.00 more. It has enough space to add a second hard drive and more Ram as well. Also has a much better sound card ( not the one on the motherboard )

Basically I play CoH a lot and would like to play it with less lag and at least run Ultra mode a little. Also I want to make sure I will be able to play that new famous name Sci-Fi with the glowy swords when it releases.

Im not going to build my own.

I noticed this with my Earth/Fire Dominator. If I just spam the AoE immobilize over and over and over I get really good rewards. My Elec/Elec Dominator.. same things really good rewards.

My Ice/Cold Defender.. teams move to fast for me to buff then with shields.. My AoE powers by and large are pet based ( Debuff, Ice storm and Blizzard ) all he gets are commons all the time and I dont have 100+ million influence (which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to high a number btwIMO should be like 25millon) to craft anything.

I dont even want to try my masterminds after hearing how much they are being screwed. What really saddens me is that apparently this was pointed out in the beta.

and although this has nothing to do with this at all. The raid content on my older PC is super super laggy. I am playing now with minimum settings and its still slow. CoH has finally made it hard for me to place on my old PC. I can play regylar content fine. But this new stuff with all the blasts and buffs is brutal on my PC.

Its funny that for years it seems they have been AGAINST farmin and running the same maps over and over for rewards and are not ENCOURAGING it through their new end game content.

Nope no love at all. I rolled a Thugs/Traps. way better. Not even close. and I loved my Merc MM.

I cannot tell you how many times I have crashed since Issue 20. Crashing in RWZ, Crashing in MC. Crashing going into Leagues. Crashing in ITF's, Crashing going into BAF mission. In fact I cannot make any progress in the BAF's because I have crashed about 50% of the time just standing around waiting to get the mission going.

This is ridiculous. Seriously Issue 20 has been the worst issue for me with crashes.

I agree a new co-op zone is badly needed and should have been thought of from the beginning.

Please I look at builds all the time. I often respec. I have Mid's, I have notebooks where I make specific respec notes that I keep right near me at all times when I play.

So what you respec a lot. I do to. Ask my SG. Im always respecing something sooner or later.. almost always sooner.

There are too many to chose from to be only one.
