Widows are pretty easy to make, Banes could be done probably with mace/ninjitsu or something, then gunbanes could be AR/Ninjitsu. Crabs and Nictus are pretty tough though.

Rift-Dancer had been around a lot longer than Lydia could imagine. Considdered a viosnary amonst his people, the Nictus believed that the action of his people were devised to better these races, until he realized such actions were forced.

When he came accross Lydia, who had been battling breast cancer he became infatuated with her strength and courage, despite being close to death, he merged with her, curing her of her life altering ailment.

They were one, and fought all posible odds together until an Archon raid in which they were captured and forcibly sepperated by a Void Stalker, killing Rift-Dancer in the process.

However Lydia Mutated as a result of the merge, keepng some of her Kheldian powers, although at a different level. But the intimate bond between to the two resinated in her mind, and she kept the name Rift-Dancer in order to honor her honorable symbiot.

Now she seeks her vengence against those who would harm the warshades, and to complete the journey she set out to accomplish with her counter part.

I am seeking feedback on how people think Epic ATs should be handled in A/E tho.

Bio (Expanded from in game bio):

Dr Joseph Moore and his wife Teresa loved their country almost as much as they loved each other. They felt the best way to help their country was not by applying their considerable brilliance to craft more weapons of mass destruction, but to research a method to decrease their beloved country’s dependence of foreign oil.

After receiving a government grant, Dr Moore and his wife set to work on their latest invention. A machine, they hypothesized, that would enable them to harness and manipulate any energy source, increasing its potential energy output exponentially. On the night they were to test their invention, disaster struck. Dr Moore and his beautiful wife never saw the attack coming. Someone had learned of their invention, and wanted it for themselves.

Dr Moore awoke with his laboratory in ruins, his machine and research destroyed. His spirit was crushed, but nothing he had ever felt could match the despair that overtook him when he saw the form of his wife’s lifeless body on the floor. As Joseph screamed in emotional agony, he felt something well up inside him. Eventually he lost control and a fantastic burst of energy poured from his body. The power he had harnessed within his machine was now flowing through him

Dr Moore vowed to use this new found power to protect the country he loves so dearly, and to avenge the death of the wife whose life had brought him such joy. Rising from the rubble of his former life, he is now known as Aniketos Pium, The Unconquerable Patriot.

Glad to put in my submission. Also works with other ATs, powersrt combos, as I've rerolled/renamed her in quite a few different combos (DB/WP, MA/Regen, MA/WP, DB/SR, KM/WP Stalker, DP/MM Blaster, RAD/DP Defender)...and that's just the a few of them >_> Yeeeeaaah...still trying to find that "OMG I LOVE THE COMBO FOREVER" for my namesake

Mr. Jingles was a happy monkey. He used to be a tiny monkey.

Mr. Jingles and his owner, Salvatore, went to Atlas Park everyday. Salvatore played his organ-grinder, while Mr. Jingles would do a funny dance. Everyone loved Salvatore and Mr. Jingles, especially when Mr. Jingles would play his little cymbal with Salvatore.

Sundays were a special day for the two, as the park would be extra crowded. People were everywhere and things were relatively peaceful. It seems that on Sundays, or at least back then, everyone just took it a little bit easier.

Sometimes Salvatore and Mr. Jingles would actually get to play for The Statesman! Salvatore would turn out a jolly tune, while Mr. Jingles would dance about and bang his cymbal in time to the music.

Yes, things were good for the two. Especially on Sundays. Until it happened.

One beautiful Sunday afternoon, Salvatore and Mr. Jingle were doing what they do best and getting a lot of money for it. It was a good day for Salvatore and Mr. Jingles.

Suddenly, the park was filled with people running and screaming. They were scared. An evil wizard had decided to attack Atlas Plaza. On a Sunday!

The evil wizard, no one remembers his name now, was defeated by a passing hero. The hero was All-American II, everyone knows him! But, when the scientist fell, his Embiggening Spell hit poor Mr. Jingles!

Mr. Jingles didn't think anything had happened to him, he was just very scared.

But, Mr. Jingles noticed that everyone and everything around him was getting smaller. Mr. Jingles was very worried and looked to find Salvatore. He looked up, but could only see the sky. Mr. Jingles heard Salvatore's voice and he looked down. There's Salvatore!

Salvatore told Mr. Jingles that the world didn't shrink! Oh no, what had happened was that Mr. Jingle grew. And grew. And grew. Mr. Jingles was very, very, very big now.

Mr. Jingles was so big, he became a super-hero. He fights bad guys and helps good guys. And on Sundays, he still plays in the park with Salvatore. Salvatore even got him a new cymbal and banging stick!

Mr. Jingles can be big or he can be small. Either way, he is very, very strong. Mr. Jingles is so strong, he now fights bad guys with his super friends, The Dauntless Reverie.

Elite Dreadnaught is a demon from another dimension, a warrior priestess to her god. She uses chaos magic to protect herself and her skill with her magic blades is superb. She came to Earth through a portal that her kind did not know would become a one-way ticket. She has had no luck in finding the Blood Inquisitor (mostly cause I really can't get past level 10 blueside) but she has a new goal, to get back home and prepare an invasion of Earth. She agreed to her original mission in order to increase her rank within the army of her kind. She.... umm.. "enjoyed" battle before Silver Mantis was given her dialogue and to a much... fuller extent. All in the name of her god of course.

Thoughts concerning unavailable powersets in AE if people are willing to be flexible:

  • The currently unavailable Traps can be substituted with Devices.
  • NPC Fortunatas and Blood Widows can be directly recolored in the character editor.
  • SoA Huntsmen and Banes can be slightly faked with various AR/Mace/Ninjitsu power options. It becomes far easier if it's not the default outfit, however you can get the helmets as unlockables in AE and make a close match to the default Wolf Spider uniform.
  • There's a small number of 3 form Kheldian NPCs available for recoloring in AE though I think the only one that's high level is the PPD variant of Sunstorm which is obviously limiting. However, a Kheldian that only specializes in one non-human form might be faked. Dwarves and Novas are currently available so one idea is to have a non-combat version show up in the player's outfit and then swap them out with the Dwarf/Nova.
  • Crab Spiders erm, uh... [PLACATE]

Description: Brutticus is human. Or, at least, she is as human as the people of the alternate dimension called Savage Earth are.

A bit of more specific character background information on Brutticus:

Brutticus is a character with a strong but one-sided sense of morality and prone to snap judgements and uncompromising decisions, so she could be used as both an ally or an enemy to the character in question. Having grown up in a world where survival at any cost is the norm, she is used to applying extreme violence and rugged determination in practically every situation, so she will not back down from any fight, no matter how difficult, or indeed how stupid.

Brutticus' morality revolves around protecting the weak from the horrors of nature and from the malice of the strong, so she will naturally regard strong people with suspicion and mistrust unless given reason to feel otherwise. If she is given reason to believe a strong person is somehow at fault, she's very likely to choke-slam said person into a wall before getting his end of the story.

Despite growing up in a world without spoken language, Brutticus has learned to speak fluent English, though she speaks plainly and directly without much unnecessary eloquence. I don't want to supply specific suggested lines she could say, but any curt, to-the-point, firm and possibly aggressive dialogue should fit her.

To be honest, I don't specifically feel the need to be credited, at least not on the character, herself (if she's chosen, of course ). Souvenir would be acceptable, attached clue would be acceptable and, really, anything else would be. But it just feels... "Out of character" to put owner, as it were, in the character's own bio.

Of course, it's your arc so it's your call. I never get into these contests expecting to be selected, so I'll worry about that if it comes to it

Details like this are subject to change based on community feedback. The only things set in stone are level 50, 2 from each server, 13 of each morality, 1 representative from each AT (if possible), and power balance.

Other than that... I'm open to change about other details. It's more about community beyond that versus what I want.

Personally, I'd prefer characters and their roles as "in-character" as possible, from a writing perspective. This means name, description, powers, clues and role in the game should pretend this is a real, actual character having some part in this story, rather than a cameo from someone else's work. I understand that recognition needs to be given to those that deserve it, but I'd prefer that to happen either at initial briefing (or even arc description) or otherwise at end debriefing or final Souvenir.

The Souvenir feels like a good place to put that, as sort of a credit crawl, because the souvenir is the only thing which a player can take away from the arc after it's done. Descriptions, clues and briefings can be seen while in the actual arc, but when the arc ends, they all disappear, and all you're left with is whatever's in the final Souvenir (and I HATE people who don't bother to make one!).

That's personal preference, though. If it's decided that name and/or server has to be put in the character description, then I'll crop a word from somewhere where I have redundant advectives or drop out a whole sentence and make room. That's not a problem.

Mostly, I'm just looking for a reference of how many people have applied for which category and how many, if any, have been accepted already. It gives me a good idea if there's any point to apply. Last I checked, you had no-one listed on Victory, so I figured I'd step up
