Is that a Rikti monkey?!?
Looking cool, Bubba! I like how you tore up the sticks to make fingers. This is exactly thing kind of stuff I was hoping to get out the entrants by doing a media-specific battle this month =)

I already disallowed use of fire for Bubba. I didn't think that was in any kindergarten appropriate ^.^
Though for a non-official entry, yes, I think he should do that!
I too would like for him to light this on fire after the the contest entry.

Ok, finished with it, and even made a little popsicle Rikti monkey to boot. Here's the action shot:
And close up of the monkey
And I may indeed have a video or at least a pic of her going up in flames at some point in time. I think the fluff should burn without causing too much damage. >;^)

Sterno? Thinking too small. I want either the phrase, "Are we far enough back?" or "Should we be standing behind something?" to be in the video. That will lock in my vote. I played with matches and light sockets when I was a kid. I still can't smell things all that well.
I wonder if partially melted army men is a valid art technique.

I wonder if kids can be part of the art. Although a paper-plate-Positron with pasta-peripherals might be a bit scary.
And it shouldn't be set on fire.

This month should be interesting, all the digital inkers and colorists brought to their knees by a crayola crayon. I dunno that i really enjoyed crayons as a kid. Most of my teachers made sure everybody brought a box the first day and then all those went into a bucket, and that was our bucket of crayons for the year...the lack of order, the brokeness...the mixing*sobs* poor crayons never saw it coming.

Me too, that's why I'm curious as to what I'll come with this month. It really is just a shot in the dark.
Well, you don't HAVE to use crayon. Fingerpaints FTW!

This reminds me of something my sister did once. She plugged in a plug with exposed cord into a wall socket. I remember her shaking a little and saying "This is fun." I ran into the living room and calmly informed my mother that my little sister was electrocuting herself (She was probably 4 at the time so I would have been 5) My mom ran in and SMACKED my sister with a broom to get her to let go. One of the funniest things I've ever seen in my entire life. My sister cried, not because she was hurt, but because my mom scared her and stopped the fun. *insert deviantart rofl emote here*
On a side note: Bubba I am so stoked someone used Popsicle sticks! Awesome ^.^
I've learned A couple of things yesterday.
Playdough is incredibly hard to work with. Edit not playdough kiddy dough
my tentative entry.
and a nod to Caem's January entry at his feet.
Obviously, the fire/fire blaster Chocobo is holding Statesman hostage. Looking good, probably a lot better than what I could do if I chose clay.

(ok I'm actually more of an Agnostic/Anti-theist... but I do like pirates,
FSM and that you get a stripper factory in their heaven
)...and something of a cookie connoisseur I suspect would do incredibly with either of these.
Of course I'd probably be perma-banned for somehow managing to offend all 3,200+ phony religions
simultaneously all the while nomming on a pirate shaped sculpture made of cookie-dough.
