Please also post the results of a HijackThis log - it will show us what's running on your computer concurrently with CoH. Click on "Do a system Scan and save a logfile." It will automatically open up Notepad and put the info there. Make sure Wordwrap is off in Notepad (Format > Wordwrap unchecked) before you cut and paste here.
You can also use Speedfan to rule out overheating.

Try some simple things first. Turn off as many background stuff that you really don't need when playing. (Things like Quicktime, Yahoo Messenger..etc.) Make sure you are defragged..messed up files can keep your game from running right. Open the 'run' prompt and enter ipconfig /flushdns.
Then, verify files and enter the game. Let us know your results, and good luck!
�Many things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done.� I downloaded the Speedfan program and it told me my GPU is averaging around 185 degrees F I know thats bad but is it what is crashing my computer and if so how do I fix it.... BTW thanks for all of your help so far.

Is this still under warranty from Gateway? If it is, I'd recommend contacting them and let them know what is happening and what SpeedFan is showing for temps and ask them to repair it under warranty.
Otherwise, you'll need to find someone locally that does RELIABLE work on laptop internals and have them check fans and heatsinks to make sure they are properly seated and working.
Laptops aren't as simple to work on as Desktops, and I'm really picky when it comes to having someone work on the internals of my laptop. Luckily, I work with a guy I trust for that, but I also work with one I don't trust but that I've seen working on other people's laptops (one of the reasons I don't trust him to work on mine).

I keep having a problem where my laptop crashes I posted the same problem about a month ago and I was told to update the drivers that helped lessen the amount of times it happens but it still happens. It happens various times while playing and crashes my computer so that I have to power reboot, I also thought it was just overheating the viseo card so I got an extra cooling device but that hasnt helped either. If anyone has any ideas pls help.
