let me try and explain... I have a concept for a character based on a name. *IF* the name is available, I would respec a character I think is marginal and strip the enhancements/recipes/salvage off of it before deleting it. if I have to do all that before I know the name is available, then find out it isnt, I will be rather ticked, cause not only do I not have a new character, I probably lost some IOs in the process of deleting the other character.
in other words, it' can be an awful lot of work just to find out if a name is available -

Even better, if you check a name and it's available, it gets reserved, meaning that nobody else can use it unless you back out of the character creator, or type in a different name. -
before the last change you could check to see if a name was available before you started to build a character, now its gone?

the scrapper version becomes a big black ball of dark matter, the brute version you can still see the base model, is this normal? -
uhhh, you mean like it is already? the leader of the team can set missions from -1 to +4 and in TFs he can set other switches like no enhancements

I had one generic'd and I think it was a really weak reason.
She was a plant/earth Dominator called "Dirty Hoe"... the excuse was they didn't want to condone prostitution. I had to laugh considering I've been in missions where I "killed" someone, kidnapped someone, robbed a bank, and a few other nefarious deeds. There is a jewelry shop called "family jewels" as well.
Needless to say I didn't win my appeal -
got a Ill/Son on Guardian that I would very much like to run in somethign like that!

all things being equal, it looks like the scrapper comes out on top in a a couple of things, mostly damage, even in others, mostly defenses and a power choice in the epic pool with one having an end reducer and the other an endurance mod.
the DEF and RES are identical (in my build)
D S/L 40.9
D Neg 34
R S/L 51.8
R Neg 47.9
but damage-wise a scrapper, before crits are considered, beats out the brute running at 75% rage
Shadow Maul 280 vs 324 (648 w/crit)
should I scrap the brute and start over?

never paid monthly fee have limited access.
I fail to see the problem -
Sonic/Mental Blaster produces all sorts of big orange numbers... Concentration/Amplify/Howl/Psychic Scream/Siren's Song, then plink away with scream and shout until the AoE's recharge, not that there is much standing at that point

Because you can still get those with tickets. If not, more power to you, but I can't see the point of locking any toon at 25; you'd miss out on too many great utilities above level 30.

Re-read my post, champ. I repeat: A level 35 IO outperforms a level 50 SO. If you're smart, you'll deck yourself out with IO's at level 35, and never need to update an enhancement again until you decide to slot in sets.
Apparently you missed the part about even level 25 SOs being better than IOs
I said "depending on what you are doing, he's right" I didn't say every case, I dont kniow why you are blowing this out of proportion the way you are, Champ, you arent proving anything to me I didn't already know.
as for locking at 25, the slider has been mentioned above, I don't want any recipes over lvl 25. Don't tell me how to play the game, ok Champ? -

so with Blinding Feint you get a +to hit and a + damage
with the empower combo (which includes Blinding Feint) you get a + to hit and a + to damage...
whats the difference or am I missing something? I don't see any difference when they are executed -
I had the same question a few months ago, here is my experience. get what you will use most... for us it was atlas, kings row (teleports you right across the street from the train depot), Talos, Steel Canyon, Brickstown (kills 2 birds with one stone since you show up next to the opening of crey's folly), Founders Falls, RWZ, PI & Pocket D & Eden.
I have had no requests for other porters to be added. -

So I joined an Irish based SG last night and built a character, I tried naming her Phooka (another variant of Pooka) but it said this name is not available (not this name is already in use)... is there a copyright issue I'm missing?
