I thought of that, but that's not it. I tried using it on one of the lower population servers and it let me create a character with that name, so it's not reserved.

I petitioned it, so we'll see. Even if I manage to get it back though, it looks like I won't be able to level pact it with its counterpart.

I created a character with a certain name in the first few minutes after Exalted went live. Since I rushed to create the character, tonight I went to recreate it so that I could take advantage of the level pacts. I went all the way through the character creation process to the very end on my second account, then I deleted the character name on my first account. I typed in the name on my second account and I got the "Name is Available and Reserved" message, but when I try to enter the game, it tells me the name is already taken.

Thinking there needed to be a space of time between deletion and creation, I logged out with my fingers crossed, waited a few minutes, logged back in, went through the whole process again and had the same result - name shows as Available and Reserved, but then I can't get it.

I've even rebooted my computer and logged back in with the same result. Can two people have the same name reserved at the same time???

What's particularly odd is that between attempts to do this, I did the same exact thing with another character - deleted the character and recreated it with the same name, and I hand no problems at all.

I am going to be really disappointed if I lose this name.

I eventually got on, but I was getting the "Cannot Connect to Servers" message at the log in screen for the longest time. Finally I just rebooted my computer.

I don't know whether it violates the EULA or not, but it's still kind of a skeavy thing to do.

Are the servers down, or can I just not log in for some reason?

I can't seem to log on for some reason, but as far as I know, no there isn't. Unless it was recently added.

I may have misunderstood, but I thought we were going to be able to "buy" Reward Tokens with Paragon Points. However, I couldn't find that option in the Paragon Market, nor could I find any mention of it in a few of the threads I skimmed.

Was I just making that up in my head as a way of convincing myself I could get lots of cool stuff much earlier than normal?

Um... does anyone know where the costume contests are being held?

When I logged in this morning, I had 1600 on each of my accounts - one is a 42+ month vet account, the other is a 17 or 18 month vet account. Neither account is close to tier 9.

I'm an RP player, and I sagged some names last night that I'been dying to get on Virtue for years. I don't plan to abandon Virtue, but hopefully Exalted won't become a wasteland, and it will develop a decent RP community.

I logged in almost as soon as the servers came back, and I still missed my first choice(s):

Decoy
Illusion (which was my backup if I couldn't get Decoy.)

Others I was hoping to snag but missed out on:

Mathemagician
Knight Widow
Nyx or Nox

Other than Decoy though, I'm not really too disappointed, because I did get most of the names I wanted, including:

Miss Tell
Sticks
Stones
Dead Serious
Nick of Time
Dawn of Time
Tarantula Hawk

Lash

and a few others I'm forgetting.

I'm planning to level pact a few of these characters if it wasn't obvious.

This inverted mouse thing is driving me batty.

Is there any way to apply changes you make to your options account wide? Every new character I create I have to go in and "fix" the mouse configuration. And the hilarious thing is that I have to RESET it to "normal." Shouldn't "normal" = default?

Did anyone else have to reset their account password to log into the forums this morning? I was able to get into the game fine before they took the severs down, but neither of my accounts could log into the forums.
