  1. Current is right in the aspect of the heals Mu pumps out, he's definitely not your H34Lz0r by a long shot. What he IS good for though, is taking an alpha (he'll die, but you won't, lol), helping keep the aggro off of you alongside your Dom pet, and the Mu pet has the best AoE out of the 4. My dom had one running around with him before I switched to Fire APP.

    EDIT: He's pretty versatile as to what you want him to do too, If you want him to pump out damage, slot with a set of Expediant Reinforcements, but if you want him to drain endurance instead, you can slot him with a set of Efficacy Adapter or Perf.shifter. Both are pretty effective with his AoE attacks.

    all the time, actually, it's a secondary effect like the -res on sonic blast or the -tohit on Dark Melee.

    Power Siphon is an extra effect that drains their DMG even more.
  3. Rain of Fire and Fireball are fitting really nicely into my plant/fire's build. I just hope that I can 6-slot (or at least 5-slot) the two of them comfortably to get 2 more sets of posi blast in them, bringing the total to a full 5 sets of posi blast!

  6. why that's the first move you can take! It's called strangler and it's really handy!
    Then at lvl 18 you get an AoE hold! It requires some accuracy slotting but it keeps you alive and burning stuff.

    If you're used to playing as a blaster, then you'll already be sort of used to doms, they're pretty much the blaster of the vills cause they don't have support or survivability toggles or anything else to think about than
    wrecking everything.

    Regen would be a good choice to pair with KM/'s -DMG.

  9. I throw in a vote for Plant as well, paired with Fire preferrably. and here's why:

    -you may notice that everyone seems to notice and attack you when you throw down the aoe immobilize, it hurts. Carrion Creepers take the aggro for you, and they're awesome-looking and follow you around for a while.

    -seeds of confusion also help with aggro-management. Open up with this baby, lay down creepers and your roots, blow a fire breath in the madness, and watch the orange numbers fly.

    -we now have rain of fire AND fireball to play with! toss that on your jungle of death while your fly trap has the time of his life killing everything inside.

    Yes, I am very well aware that it goes off more often in a toggle. But, in my experience it is usually wasted in a toggle power. It goes off when you're running between mobs, or selling, or training. Very seldom does it go off when it would actually get used. I'd much rather it go off less frequently, but actually benefit me every time it does, instead of being wasted because there is nothing nearby to attack.
    I agree. Watching the combat window, I've seen it come up often enough that I find it comfortable in BU.
  11. The change to CS made it more attractive alone. 25% drop in stun chance is not really noticeable when you have a way shorter recharge time for stacking the 75% sun chance that we still do have. Crippling Axe Kick is looking better too. I'll have to try it out tomorrow after work.

    Agreed. I think any toon should be able to go full-out with the same type eventually. Like Fire/Fire/Fire, Dark/Dark/Dark, etc.

    Hi Hippa!

    You probably won't have much luck softcapping /FA for defense, since it's a resistance-based set.

    If you're looking to softcap some def, you could give Super Reflexes a shot. But there's good resistance in /FA too.

    Most farming Power combinations for Scrappers are more AoE-oriented. You're halfway there with /FA. but maybe, for more AoE, give Spines, or Fire Melee, or Dual Blades, or Electric Melee a go.
  15. I have to say that I'm cursing my own altoholicism because it's making me get bored of the first 5 levels, lol.

    -Loving KM/ on my stalker
    -Loving the new cities
    -hating the queue, but that's only temporary
    -Loving all the new builds my main toons now have with APPs

    I've only been around for 16 months, and have never experienced "burnout" yet, and now might not ever thanks to this stuff.

    I want to try out the new and improved MA/, and I'm wondering if anyone can toss me some feedback on it and it's new changes as of yet. I'm thinking MA/DA for my ebil scrappy, whatta ya think?
  17. Welcome to CoX!!!

    It can be overwhelming at first with all the powers and such, I think in my first week I made about 6 characters but wound up sticking with just 2 because running the same starting missions over and over got boring.

    As far as the limited amount of moves goes, best advice I can give you is to team as much as possible. You'll have more time to recharge when your team is taking the target's attention away from you, and you'll fly up in levels easily. Bigger teams get an XP bonus, food for thought anyway.

    Also, if you don't like waiting for your own moves to recharge, you could always use a mastermind, they summon things that do the moves for them.

  19. My DP/Kin is lvl 40. He's awesome on a team, but doesn't survive well solo. Makes me wish I took /DM, but I already have 2 50's with /DM.

    Ok I JUST learned about that buff they got where moves like repel and OG will aggro mobs once hide is suppressed (when you come out of hiding), so I can totally see quills working now.

    But the inherent for stalkers is Assassination, so should they get a new inherent or just building stuff on top of that? I suppose it is possible on some level since Tankers got Bruising added to their inherent now.
  22. This is why I do enjoy playing on 3 servers. Jumped on champion and got on a team in 2min, and 1 hour later logged out of my now lvl 8 stalker. I'll probably visit the good people of Pinnacle tomorrow to start my new dom.

    I love Freedom, it's the one I started on and is therefore home, just like anyone else and their respective server, but it's always good to be familiar with another server or two just for times like these
  23. Most epic stalker I've ever encountered was a EnM/Nin that helped me duo Archus, the end AV for Ice Msitral SF. I was on my Fire/Dark corr, and it took us about an hour, but I died 5 times and he didn't die once. Intense.
  24. So I can run Repel while hidden now, and get "Assassin's BOING!!!" right after my AS? That would look basass, like your AS just blasted everyone into the air.

    Also, I might actually try /DA now...
