My thoughts are i currenty have 2 powers with numinas heal set about 2 eatch, very nice regen bonus. I figured the performance shifter give the better recovery bonus of 2.5 vs the one i currently have is 1.5 ( or 1.0 cant remember) with a 10% regen bonus. My questions i guess is it is worth it more so to let my numina set give me the huge regen bonus and let my end ones give a nice end recovery bonus, sounds like 4 slots are going to be my next step
The only exception to this is...I slot the miracle +Rec in Fast Healing. -

I love this feature in Champions Online...but I do not think it would work well in this game...the combat systems are too different.

I don't know all the mechanics behind generating Fury...but wouldn't Dark Melee generate Fury very quick with Shadow Punch and Smite being quick activating attacks?
Those two powers, along with Brawl in the lower levels seems like a quick way to build Fury. -

Character rename tokens are only good for one character and cannot be refunded once purchased.
They are used by clicking the green Rename Character button on the character selection screen or by logging the character in, at which time a rename dialog will pop up and REQUIRE you to choose the new name for your character.
It is NOT guaranteed that the name you want will be available. Please have the new name in mind before logging in, along with an alternative in case that name is taken.
However, I do believe that this should be changed. I think that, if you purchase the rename token...you should be able to use it whenever you want. -

I run top-end games on maximum graphics on my PC, and my GPU rarely ever crosses the 65C border for them. With CoH, my GPU can heat up to temperatures as high as 80C.
It's just something that's in CoH that I've had issues with.
Same scenario occurred on my nVidia 9800 GT, that eventually burnt out.
And now I have just slightly lower temperature readings on my nVidia 260 GTX. I don't get nearly as much heat playing other games. -

Under the ATI Catalyst Control Center...I can change the settings for 3D graphics.

Can I change these to lower setting to go along with my lower settings in the CoH Options? -

I actually don't remember being logged in while I did my rename. I thought it handled it at the login screen without any character fully logged in. Not really sure how you got into that situation to begin with but there certainly could be some kind of bug involved with what happened to you.
I'd petition to the GMs regardless. You might get lucky and have one of your rename purchases refunded to you.

However, I needed to log in and check something real quick before I renamed the character. When I logged in, they forced me to rename the character on the spot.
I did send in a petition.
I figured, since I purchased it, I could change it whenever I felt the need to. -

I'm wondering why I was forced to rename my character.
I lost $10 because of this.
I purchased a rename token for my character...I had to log into the game real quick...when I logged in, it forced me to rename my character. I couldn't exit out of the game without renaming.
Before I wanted to rename, I had to delete the character with the name I wanted. However, since I was forced to rename my character...I had to buy another rename token to get the name I wanted.
I'm not mad about losing out on the $10...but I just wanted to make this known so that something could be changed in the future, so that you are not FORCED to use a rename token that you purchased. -

CoH presents a rare case for my laptop.
It runs every other game perfect. Champions Online, Halo 2, Fallout 3...
However, with CoH...my computer overheats. My comp literally shuts off in the middle of playing because of this.
I have been able to play because I use a cooling mat. However, the cooling mat is very annoying.
I understand it's probably because I'm using a laptop...but I do not understand how every other game runs fine.
Is there possibly a cheap Desktop PC that I can buy from best buy that will enable this game to run ok? -
I'm just curious...and I understand if we have no info yet.
Any date on i19?...I'm just wondering if I might hit level 50 before it comes out. -

Invisibility, phasing, dark matter control, laser vision, energy projection and flight.
So basically...I need the build to keep all those different powers while still min/maxing for AV soloing...if possible.
However, you could take liberties such as flight...you can get rid of Fly if needed...as long as hover is still there...the concept of flight is still intact. -
