Quote:We do have a gun "mastery" it's called Munitions Mastery for Blasters.so bow would y'all improve or fix it?
I mean there is a "mastery" set for like everything, why not Guns?
The set also has too many powers since Epic Power Pools only have 5 powers and they are usually the opposite of the AT. Which means AT like the Blaster have holds and shields. While the Scrapper has a hold and a ranged attack, maybe even one moderate AoE. No set though has some UBER power, that does extreme damage. The Munitions Mastery Power LRM Rocket does Superior damage though, but thats Smashing and Lethal on high level enemies that are very resistant to those damages. -
Excellent, then this is something I will invest in.

Do the boosters give the items to all characters or only the one you opened the booster on. So if I open a booster and get costume pieces and the pet on Character A; can character B use them too?
-
Anyone know if the XP booster is effected by this at all? Is it Nulled? Doubled? Or just stacks?
-
I'm doing a Fire Melee character myself, and I am loving him. He kills things quite fast.
Going against the two things firespray said:
-It does add to survivalbility by killing before you are killed. :P
-And I on the other hand love Fire Breath, though I use it for Single target and smile if I get an extra foe or two in it. -
It can't be stalker exclusive. Everyone will want it. Few other issues.
1. Shield Block is at too early a level to be able to do a parry-like power.
2. We can't do shield throw for 2 more reasons.
1. We can't throw costume parts which means once the shield leaves the player it becomes part of the power system. Only way for it to work is if the set forced players to only have one default shield.
2. City of Heroes would get sued for copying Captain America.
3. Final issue is shield bash, which is already in Shield defense.
My overall issue with the set is a shield is for defense mainly, not offense. And what stealthy person would carry something as clunky as a shield if they were being subtle? -
I have some God characters, but not some uber being like Zeus. I make sure they have plenty of weaknesses, which makes it rather funny when they realize they are no longer all powerful. The characters now have to deal with being powerless.

Think this event can ever get to the other servers?

Quote:Well either way I won't be able to attend. Maybe you should just put a picture of my forum name at a chair and count that as me =Pthat's not a big deal, i don't think most of the people there last time drank, just those of us that were forced to deal with Aett!
ok, i REALLY gotta stop picking on Aett, he's a great guy in real life..... guess we pick on Turg next!
really Vexen, fun group of folks, you will fit in just fine, think of this as a group of extended family that you actually like. besides, i may have chronologically gone beyond 12 years old, but i don't act it, therefore, you won't be the least mature person there if nothing else. -
I like B's rings a lot. But I also Like how long D is.
Think they'll do 1st AND 2nd place? -
Wow just saw the album. Not only am I the youngest if I were to go, I would not even be allowed to drink.

Cancel my last post. Just read through the thread and saw it being planned for the 18th. Going to be gone all weekend on a four day retreat. Figures my luck.

I live in the Fairfax if thats any consolation. Guess Put me down as a maybe now. Just have to see if I'll be available when the day comes.

Quote:Yea, but now that we've posted about that excuse, if I use that, someone can call me out on it. Joking aside, my final issue is just getting to Baltimore as I live in the Virginia area. D.C. Traffic Sucks.Well, I'll most likely be the oldest. So it goes.
Meeting "Internet people" is the same as meeting any other group of people, except that in this case you know you have something in common with them. If you want to, treat it like a blind date: if you don't like the way it's going, or the way it's making you feel, pretend to get an urgent phone call and bail.
At least, I've heard that people do things like that. -
Quote:Signature for memories of an old forum I use to hang out at. But ya just call me self concious. Plus I fear I'll be the youngest there. Who knows, if it is late enough in the month or possibly moved to March, I may go then.says the guy with the image of the chibi-horsemen of the Apocalypse as his signature?
All joking aside, the last M&G I went to was a lot of fun. Great way to get out and meet folks and hey you already know that everyone there loves playing CoH. So at absolute very least you know you'll have that in common with everyone. -
I'd think about going, but I feel it creepy to meet a bunch of internet people in person. Worse part is I live right next to D.C so i can't use Location as an excuse >.>

Because the cake is a lie!
(Why?) -
Well my recomendation would be to talk to Motague at Steel Canyon and do the Midnighter's arc. If you are serious about your character, then that is an arc you will want to do.
Other recomendation is to try the police radio and get the bank mission. It'll be slow, but once 20 hits, you can head right on to Talos for some teams. -
^^You do realize you just quoted and replied to yourself...right?
-
Well, what side are you? Are you a hero? Villain? Praetorian? Can help us know what content to reccomend.
-
I now want to start a Lumberjack theme SG.
-
I either put them as some supernatural being that only looks a certain age, or I just use the magic powers of Ouroboros! Though for a more natural character I did have him go into the mountains once when I was focusing on another alt. When I got back on him, said he aged a bit and had a huge beard. Like Santa!
-
Plus MasterMind traps have to deal with Detonate which is not the best power. Killing pets is not a good sign.
-
Another issue is why fight in a vehicle? Especially indoors where the majority of missions are. Why ride a motorcycle in a cave? Or a jewlry store? Or warehouse. You can walk. Plus fighting with a vehicle seems like something you would use to rush by every enemy, shooting as you drove on by. We can't fight and move at the same time and will not. Looks too stupid. Other issue is if you do fight while staying still, it makes you wonder, "Why am I shooting guns on this Motorcycle and just sitting here? I can use fireballs/Super strength/ Assault Rifle/ Mental powers!/Etc. Not many supers use their powers and skill from the seat of their vehicle all the time. And I'm talking about cars and motorcycles...not giant robots.
And if you say to keep it outdoors only, the problem still exists. Fighting from vehicles looks pretty bad. Hence why the Devs were smart enough to turn off all powers on the Rocket Board and Magic Carpet.
Dang I can rant.
