  1. If your account drops to premium, you lose access to anything your premium account hasn't unlocked, including characters with certain archetypes.
  2. Simple enough. Put EVERY costume piece that can be unlocked in-game into the store. This would have 3 benefits:

    1. You'd be able to preview any costume in the creator without having to unlock them first.
    2. More money for NCSoft to make us toys with.
    3. People who desperately want the parts but hate whatever content unlocks them have an alternate unlock route, with the bonus of getting the parts on every character.
  3. I think Kinetic Melee is probably best on Stalkers, since it gets Build Up instead of Power Siphon and Burst has a 100% chance to crit from hide.
  4. To be honest, I don't think regen is good. I've played it several times into the late 30s/ early 40s, and always felt ridiculously weak for a melee AT.

If Paragon Studios' recent promotions are any indication, if you lose he gets to shave your head.

I am assuming the staff set will be two-handed and incompatible with shields.
This is about Valkyrie using Staff Melee. She doesn't use a shield, even with her current sword. I doubt there will be spear options for staff melee for players, but as a signature NPC she can have unique moves or weapons not available to players.

I think that's the point. Power sets can offer abilities beyond what you'd expect from just taking their names at face value.

You're right. He should, he definitely should.

But he's probably Who Will Die, so no point in putting in the work.
  9. If anyone asks, they just tell them they're the Illuminati.
  10. I didn't even see Titan Weapons in the list of melee power sets.

    Nope!
  13. I got my points yesterday, which was my billing date, so business as usual there. I still haven't gotten my token, though, which was what I really wanted...

You can fight with a spear in much the same manner as a staff. They'd have to give her her own versions of some of the attacks that do lethal damage depending on which end of her spear is striking, but it'd look fine.

What's not to understand? She has a spear, she should fight with it.
  15. I like how it has the same head and tail that comes with the animal pack.
  16. Will Battle Maiden and Valkyrie be retooled to use said powersets? Obviously Valkyrie should use Staff Melee, and Battle Maiden Titan Weapons.
  17. I've been wondering if there'll be an electric hammer option...

True, but even so all of them look very similar. They all share a similar head shape, the etched and engraved-looking skin, the large belt and flowing robes. Even the thus-far unused model of Rularuu himself has these features. But none of them have any sort of eyeball livery.

That's where my question is coming from; I'm just wondering if someone thought the same thing and made it the official Rularuu symbol as a retcon.
  19. Something I've been wondering about since running this arc; according to the Guardian in the second mission (heroside at least), the Watchers are more important in Rularuu's hierarchy than Brutes or Wisps. Also, the Rulu-shin have unique chest and glove details with prominent Rularuu eyes on them. What I'm wondering is if the Rularuu = eyes thing is part of the original Rularuu canon for the game, or a recent development. As far as I can remember, the eye focus started when Back Alley Brawler made the Rularuu weapon models, and according to him he didn't even intend to make Rularuu weapons. He said that he had the idea for the look, and it wasn't until after he noticed that the weapons' prominent eyes reminded him of Rularuu Watchers that they got the Rularuu weapon names. Also, in the Shadow Shard and its missions, eyes never show up as an important symbol to Rularuu. His aspects certainly don't display any eye-like markings.
  20. It was nice for the Rularuu to see some action. It's too bad they probably won't factor into the rest of the arc in any meaningful way.
  21. I think EVERY power in Street Justice for every AT should increase combo level, except finishers of course. Build Up, Taunt, Confront, and Placate should all increase combo level by 1. There's a sort of precedent for this: Claws powers get a 20% discount on end and recharge from what the damage formula would have them at, including Claws' Build Up.

Also, the Rib Cracker animation should be an alternate animation for Shin Breaker for Stalkers.
  22. I'm in the same boat as you, Kinetic Combats and all. 39% accuracy enhancment is fine for +0 and +1, but if you're spending all that money on Kinetic Combats for defense set bonuses, you're not gonna be happy fighting just +0s and +1s. Furthermore, anything with ToHit debuffs or Defense buffs is gonna give you fits.

My current plan to deal with this is to slot the Kismet unique and put some extra slots in my defense powers so I can get that 9% accuracy bonus from the 4th slot of Luck of the Gambler.
  23. The apparitions were created by Mother Mayhem, but only Sorceress Serene's machinations let them come out and affect the rest of the world. Serene's out of the way, and we were already gonna stop Mother Mayhem, but that's a job for incarnates. So what's left hanging there?
