There should be a forum solely dedicated to the Paragon Market, since there isn't one I am pointing this out here.
The NPC costumes that you can buy from the Paragon Market go under your temporary powers category. They are said to be a permanent power (Which I believe they are). Thus, they should be under Inherent Powers.
Being under temporary powers has one problem, you can delete the power you bought.
Now granted I see the option is there but I haven't clicked it as I don't want to waste money. However, I could see down the road some poor person getting drunk, having a rage, or something where he or she deletes the power.
Just seems like something small that should be fixed. -
Quote:Ok I want to follow up on the Fake Nemesis thing. I think there is a bug with ALL of them. I am doing a Sara Moore Task Force and half these Fake Nemesis are not counting. I am even watching my badge meter and only getting credit for certain ones.FBZ or the RWZ missions.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Unveiler_Badge
By the way, this is the mission I have:
Stop the battle between Nemesis Army factions and make sure no innocents get hurt
Basically get a character to 40-45, work towards that mission, then level to 50.
Everything will be -5 (or more) to you. Set the mission to +1/x8 for max Fake Nemesis and Nemesis Rex spawns. Don't rescue the innocents and you'll be able to use it on any future character level 1-50 (SSK to 49). -
First let me say I loathe endurance issues, and with that I want to state I plan to mostly just generic IO these builds. I've tried sets like dark in the past and just couldn't stand how endurance intensive it was.
Anyways I plan on making:
Beam Rifle
Cold
Dual Pistols
and most likely a Fire/Cold which is currently a Fire/Dark just seems too end intensive and figured with the 38 tier power that would go away.
So for the first three, what secondaries would you recommend? Repeats are ok just don't want too much end problems.. -
Thinking about possibly 2 slotting Hasten with level 50 Recharge IO's and then boosting them up to +5. What would their new value be total in Hasten? I currently am around 98% recharge value in Hasten curious how much I would lose if it was two level 50 IO's +5.
Edit: Wow nevermind, I test tried it on something else and it went from 42.4 to 53% per IO.
That almost seems bugged the curve is gigantic. -
Well since PI isn't working I was looking for that arc and realized its not an Ouroboros arc. Anywhere else you suggest?
-
Someone was reporting in game that hasten was recently changed. It no longer effects its own recharge.
If this is true, when was this change made? So is perma-hasten no longer possible solo? -
Quote:Ok what you said about the Fakes just now made me wonder. I logged in today and saw I had like 5/100 on my credit. I would of sworn last night I killed at least 10-15 of them while in PI.I have a reliable report that less than half of the Fakes in PI are actually counting towards the badge. More like 1 in 12.
I frequently choose Maxwell Christopher's (40-45) missions for Fakes.
The Illusionist was dropped to 100 and Phantasms and Dark Servants were added to the list of Master Illusionist pets that count.
Sorcerers, they frequent the boardwalk area of Talos (DA side of the main island).
So its just PI not counting or what? -
Well didn't realize on the Illusionist not only that changed you mentioned its now 100? I would of sworn it was like 600 before...

Trying to get my accolade powers for Heroes and haven't done it since like Issue 4 so I've forgotten a few things. While I am aware of some places to go for enemies, I much prefer to do the badge in a TF if possible. (I see it as killing two birds with one stone) Also with the new Super Sidekick System, some of my old tricks won't work. (IE having a mission and inviting a bunch of high levels to wipe it out for badges)
Here are my questions:
1) Is there a TF that has a lot of Fake Nemesis? I want to say a Shadowshard TF does but I don't remember. I know where to find them but would prefer a TF.
2) For Illusionist Badge, is there any easy way to get this? Preferably in a TF? (I know Villainside has a SF that has them)
3) For the Tsoo Sorcerer Badge, does this now include the Chi Masters? Also is there a TF that has a lot of them? If not, what is the best way to acquire this one?
Thanks. -
Quote:That doesn't show the attributes of the powers though. It just lists the powers of the set. I was looking for the actual damage and recharge times. Can't you find the information you need by typing the powers into the game? All the street justice powers are listed here
Edit: Also the animation times. -
What were the damage scalars from when Street Justice was on test? I just wanted to compare it to other sets we have now. I never played it but I know with 3 charges I am told it could hit pretty hard.
Could it match the scalar of a KO Blow? Energy Transfer? (9.8889, 12.666) -
Did anyone else notice the boss at the end of the arcs gives a ton of exp? I play on +2 and he gave like half a level of exp to me at 30... I then ran it again at +4 which took a while (Popped a ton of reds and accuracy) and the boss at the end (The lost boss) gave me nearly a full level of exp...

Well I just uploaded it to Tiny Pic instead. Thats odd about that website though...

For some reason, I can't see my avatar next to my posts. Is it like that to everyone? It just says words "Ultimus's Avatar" that are in a hyperlink. How do you fix that?

I am a person that enjoys reading the storyline and following the lore of the game. I think its fairly interesting and if you are like me, First Ward will blow you away. I leveled a character that did *every* story arc in Praetoria (Had to shut off exp) just so I could make sure I got all sides of the story.
The Scenery
The zone of First Ward is awesome and leaves you wondering just from the visuals what exactly is going on. Its beautifully done from the flying giant monster (Seed of Hamidon... reminds me of Lavos from Chrono Trigger), to the torn up city, to where all the refugees and the D.U.S.T. lurk about.
Probably the coolest area, and the place I find the most creepy, is the Mother of Mercy Hospital. While you can't go inside, the music, sound effects, and overall feel has this eerie presence about it. It reminds me of something like Shutter Island.
The shadow paths are a neat touch using the phasing technology although I found them to kind of be useless. I like the concept of them, its just with a power like fly you don't need them (Let alone any travel power). Now if it allowed you to stay in the shadow world and find hidden NPCs, badges, or contacts that could be pretty cool.
The Storyline, bringing RPG back to MMO*RPG*
The storyline was nothing short of epic. At first I thought the storyline was a bit confusing and I was left wondering just what is going on. As you play through it connects everything very nicely. Seeing how I played all the Praetorian Arcs (Which I recommend), I instantly recognized all of the contacts you acquire during the storyline. I knew their history and I liked how you could choose an option stating when you met with them. The only complaint here is I wish you had more recognition for working with them. I did like the in game explanation of why one contact didn't fully remember you and thats because she was going insane.
Even the enemy groups tie back into the Praetorian Arcs which is fairly cool. Although the backstory isn't really explained so someone that hasn't done Praetoria may wonder just why a group of zombies has intelligence...
With the above aside, the storyline is simply amazing. It has plot twists, betrayals, questionable actions which do lead to the greater good, and it comes to a pretty nice conclusion. I thought it felt like an actual RPG and if you avoided spoilers it will leave you spinning from the plot twists. I am not going to post spoilers but lets just say who I thought was in charge of the chaos turned completely different.
For villains though, I could see them having complaints if they were to do the storyline. Although with the way its written, its similar to Rikti War Zone where its a threat that could destroy us all. I am not sure if they get something different; however, there are options throughout the storyline to gauge how your character reacts. For example, in one instance you can choose to say "I'm not here to kill you" while the other option is something like "I shall strike you down where you stand" to an NPC that has submitted to you. So there are options to make your motives or rather personality seem more villain or hero like.
Conclusion
I think more zones need to be like this. I actually felt like I saved an entire area from doom and I loved all the plot twists. The story wasn't linear where you know right at the start where its going to end. It felt more like a mystery with one clue leading to the next. -
What is the recent nerf to AE farms? Are we talking about MARTY? What was changed?

Quote:So what exactly are these contacts? Are they for story arcs?Heroes can get Trina Furst (Hero), plus Roadflare (Resistance) and Vickers ("neutral")
Resistance can get Roadflare (Resistance), plus Trina Furst (Hero) and Vickers ("neutral")
Villains can get Mr. Caldoun (Villain), plus Angela Hu (loyalist) and Vickers ("neutral")
Loyalists can get Angela Hu (loyalist), plus Mr. Calduon (Villain) and Vickers ("neutral") -

From patch notes:
"Additionally, 5 alignment oriented contacts will provide repeatable tasks to players who want to do right, wrong, loyal, and traitorous deeds in the city that Praetoria has forgotten. Though not hard to find, they also don't advertise their wants and needs, so players will have to initiate contact with these individuals if they want to explore some of the other stories inside of First Ward. Look for the following individuals: Angela Hu, Mr. Caldoun, Vickers, Trina Furst, and Roadflare. "
These contacts won't talk to me yet they are on my contact list. I haven't out leveled them. What exactly do they give? Story arcs? Repeatable missions? Can someone fill me in? -
Quote:Actually I wonder if this could solve Regeneration's problems. I know in some cases this "stat" exists, is it possible to add a stat that decreases the duration of all debuffs on a /regen? IE, if a -Recharge lasts 20 seconds on normal people on a /regen it lasts lets say 10 seconds.Nothing wrong with that. But this game isn't balanced for the top at the expense of everything before. At least, it hasn't been in the past, and that goes against the expressed intent of the devs. If they want to explicitly state their priority switch to balancing for the end game at the expense of the leveling game, then that would be a different situation.
But then Regen would have to stand in line. A whole bunch of things from Stalkers to Masterminds to Blasters as entire archetypes would have a greater claim for attention before the Regeneration set itself did. There's currently a wild west presumption in the end game where everyone should be able to participate, but not everyone will achieve the exact same performance levels under the highest levels of progress. That's how it always tends to be with top level performance and min/maxing: usually we presume min/maxers can take care of themselves, and its the average players playing conventional builds leveling in the core game we have to worry about.
Thus, a -Regen could still be hit by whatever just has to be reapplied more often.
