I think the only character I have that would even come close to any of this would be...
um...
...
Broad Side of a Barn.
But then, he's an 8' Huge-body Rad/Dark Defender, so I guess that leaves him out too.
Um...
I don't think I have anyone that fits this situation...Bummer. -

Quote:Unfortunately, many people forget to take their brains along when they go anywhere. I guess they think they'll keep it safe by locking it away in a cabinet in the secret room behind the hidden panel in the closet of the house down the street. Can't be too safe you know.many people forget to bring their brains with them when they go online.

Quote:If there was an NPC named Storm Summoning and he had ADHD like most other tag-along NPCs that "help", then they would be correct.Someone has never seen a skilled Empath at work.
This rant is reminiscent of people who complain that all Storm Summoning does is toss enemies into the next spawn. -
Quote:I think I had a character that was offered and invitation to the Legion of Catgirls as an honorary Catgirl many many moons ago. The character wasn't female...or a cat. I had just been on a PuG with a couple of them for a few missions. Much fun was had by all.(This isn't saying large SGs are bad - Repeat Offenders, you can learn a lot from, and the Legion of Catgirls is entertaining in its own way.)
I wonder if I'd have to move Catgirl Alex if I got another invitation... -
I've never seen that redside. On the team I usually play with redside, the Brute never had a chance to "Tank" unless the team got split up and there was a couple of ambushes.
-
No, you're not. Many of my characters are "played by ear". I don't usually plan them out for more than a couple of levels. Others, I do have a fairly specific plan for them and follow it for the most part.

Quote:Well, I've been on the internet since the 1200 baud modem. Somewhere over 15 years.Keep telling yourself that.
The analogy sticks.
There just ain't no way that anybody could have been on the Internet for 5 years (forum join date 2005) and NOT have heard of Slashdot. Not when New York Times has mentioned them. Not when Fox News has mentioned them. Not when CNN has mentioned them. Not when CBS, NBC, ABC, Reuters, and the Associated Press have mentioned them.
You would have to have your head buried in a lump of concrete to have been on the web for that long and never have at least HEARD somebody refer to Slashdot.
I don't read the New York Times.
I don't watch Fox News.
I don't watch CNN.
I don't watch CBS, NBC, or ABC.
I don't have any interest in Reuters, or the Associated Press.
I don't browse the internet for the sake of browsing the internet.
It would seem to be pretty easy for me to not hear about Slashdot for all that time. Which, I might add, I haven't.
Just thought you would like to know that your assumption was poorly thought out and the analogy was incorrect. -

Quote:There is always hope. This much i know...but is there any "hope"...at all?.... anywhere...from anyone? ...just give me the damn tissue!
Of course, my family motto is "While I breathe, I hope"
So, Hope is like...the breath of life...or some such...for my family.
That might account for my sparkling personality...
Now get off my lawn! -

[QUOTE=Nanolathe;2967149]Lastly; Inspirations drop regularly...
USE...
THEM!
the amount of times I try to hand out free Wakey Insps to dead players, or Respites to those with 5-10% health and get the message "This player has no room in his inspirations tray" is starting to grate on me. My pet peev is seeing that big flashy RED sign saying "Inspirations Full"./QUOTE]
I'm guilty of not using Inspirations most of the time. Usually, it's because I can go through most fights with out needing them. By the time I realize that I have Inspirations that could help, I've already faceplanted.
Or, I use almost all of them at one time going after the EB (and his groupies). -
Quote:I once had a mission where the waypoint lead to a plant on the first floor by the entrance inside the AE building. No doors inside the building took me to the mission, not even the AE data-stream. Neither did the plant. The AE beam is probably where you should have clicked. When this happened to me (and also in previous instances I've seen reported on these boards) the AE beam replaced the normal mission door for the mission.
This has been happening since right after AE went live, so it's an old bug that has just never gone away. -
Quote:You might not remember, but none of the Hero ATs were designed with Inherents in mind.Is it hard for you to grasp that the more Archtypes that have an inherent that increases personal effectiveness would only help my case, however small. ? Wise up.
However, the Villain ATs were designed around their Inherents. That's one reason why the Hero Inherents feel tacked on. At least that's the way I feel about it. The only hero AT, I feel, that could have used an Inherent was the Blaster.
In fact, my personal opinion is that of the Hero ATs, the only ones that really got Inherents were the Blasters, Controllers and Defenders.
The Tanks already had "Gauntlet" and the Scrappers already had the Critical Hits before Inherents every came out. Not a single thing change for them with the introduction of the Inherents. Except, of course, for the Inherent Icon among all the Powers effects Icons.
Why change something if it doesn't need to be changed?
Oh, and Dominators do, indeed, play differently than they used to. Give it a whirl before dismissing them with outdated observations. -

Quote:You are correct, assuming the equation asked was in base 10. (which is a valid assumption and won't get the typical assumption response from meIt's been a long while since I was at school and had to do any ciphering, but I'm pretty sure that works out to be 54.
Hope thats right because otherwise I'll look dumb. Well dumber.)
I like Master-Blade's answer better though. -

Quote:I have no information to provide for the topic of the thread, but I can answer this question.Ugh...I hate that. I'll never understand why people need to copy others in cases like this. Has all sense of creativity been leeched out of our youth?
The answer is...
YES!
It is very unfortunate, but it does seem that creativity has, indeed, been leeched from our youth.
I would blame someone, but I'm not creative enough to find out who to blame for the loss of creativity.
