Quote:i am not out to "disrespect" anyone my keys stick an i didnt proof read it! so please hand out my punishment an lets get on with our lives please> forgive me Grammar nazi's
That is all.
P.S. I find it a tad odd, that no one commented on the "grammar nazi" (that'd be me) condeming poor grammar while using Rikti-speak, of all things. -
Forget "if these walls could talk," it's now: "if these walls could walk."

It seems to me as if an actual person needs to go account-to-account and manually add the reward, based on how messed up so many people's rewards are.
Mine have always been awarded ±4 days of when they are supposed to be, though. I did send in a /petition once when it didn't hit when I thought it would, and I was awarded it the next day with the explanation that the system is based on the exact time you registered as well. -

Quote:Though I have no data to quibble this point, any time I see a statement this difinitive and unequivocal... I wonder as to its accuracy. If you abide by the accepted definition of solo'ing (no temps, insp, click accolades) then to date I don't believe any scrapper has solo'd any GM.
I guarantee (well, almost) that most anything that is possible in this game has been done by someone, it may just have never been talked about or published. After all, the Devs also play this game, and they have access to more information than anyone. -
It seems like part of the appeal of */Claws is the speed of the set. However, as a Stalker I find gameplay is a bit "hurry up and wait" (in so much as you have a very formulaic approach to combat, and it feels like you are constantly waiting on AS/Buildup/Placate to be recharged). This runs a bit contrary to Claws and may be the reason.
Or, it may have to do with the numbers, or that most Claws concepts would now seem to work better as a Brute... No idea, really. -
I just wanted to go on record as saying that your attempt to steal my "number as a name" persona has not gone unnoticed.
Seriously though, I can't watch any videos while I am at work... or else I could probably answer your first question. As to the second? I don't, nor will I ever, PvP in this game. -
Ummm, right then.
I should think that a significant enough amount of -Def and/or -Res would suffice, effectively that would increase your damage enough to be able to overcome the un-debuffed Regen... which, after all, really is the issue with a GM's Regen, isn't it? Overcoming said Regen with enough damage to actually make an impact over time?
But if you want to oversimplify with what amounts to old wive's tales (veracity-wise) then go right ahead.
Also, I shudder anytime someone says what someone else "needs" to complete a given scenario. With enough patience (read: excessive patience) lots of things CAN solo AVs/GMs, its just that most sane players would not want to spend the required time in doing such things. -
Quote:I haven't ever played the game in question, but the above quotation caught my eye.It isn't something someone you can have a rational discussion about, because there's only one correct interpretation of the data.
Data can always be interpreted in many ways. In fact, data can be created or altered to support nearly any supposition. So, your assertion that there is only one correct inerpretation (yours, go figure), strikes me as an incredibly ridiculous position to maintain.
Also, since you have posted none of this supposedly infallible and conjecture obviating data... it is hard to agree with you on those grounds. At least it would be, if I were involved in this "argument."
[Edit: I see you posted some data. I can't see it, since the site is blocked at work, so I will assume it is cohesive, wholly representative of years of play, and without any ambiguity at all.] -

First, welcome to the game, hope you stay for a good long while!
Quote:That is exactly how I felt after my first few weeks... I kept asking myself why I had been so reluctant. And now, I am progressing toward 30 Months!Going from primarily single player off-line play to an MMORPG is an interesting experience and one I've been afraid to engage in for a long time. Now that I've played this game--even for only a week--I'm regretting taking so long to take the plunge.
Have fun, dude! -

I don't know what the badge is called (the Wiki doesn't seem to know either) but it is not currently achievable.

Quote:Though I have never personally even noticed that... You are completely right.Forgive me for the double post, but I feel this is important enough to warrent it:
Devs, if you take us up on this idea and do add more female models, for the luvvagod, don't create any more "Longbow Barbie" types, with long hair that is gaurnteed to get in the way at a bad moment. Sure it'd work for the Lost or Outcasts, but it's hard to take an elite military organization seriously when it lets some of its members have potential obstacles growing out of their head (hells, even the women of GI Joe keep their hair to a short, managable length). If you really, really must, then at least use the Low Ponytail haircut instead of the high one so it doesn't look so out of place.
I know I'm splitting hairs (ba-dum PISH) on this one, but it's a personal gripe of mine I figured I'd voice. -
See, that is why I disagreed. I don't see it as a perk at all, because it would likely force a large number of people (myself included, yes, I have a bias in this) to upgrade our computers. Mine is just good enough that I am satisfied.
-
Quote:Disagreed.I really wouldn't mind a graphical update. After... What? 3-4 years without upgrading the requirements of a game, since CoV (and that's being VERY modest, considering it's closer to 5+, since CoV didn't do too much to warrant an upgrade, if any) the game could REALLY use it.
Just crack down on the things that players have been asking about; fingers, smoother graphics, more options, etc.
As Rorschach said in Antarctica "Fine like this." -
Quote:That is an exceedingly proscriptive and narrow view of an SG. Are you in charge of writing everyone else's backstory too? We're talking about a character that has been allowed to join the esteemed ranks of SG-X, a collection of world saving and sickeningly rich superheroes/villains each led by individuals with a net worth of greater than a billion inf.
Individuals whose sole jobs are to run around getting paid to beat the hell out of enemy-y and get paid handsomely to do so.
The only goal of the group is to do the same and doing so efficiently is the only way to do so. In order to assist that efficiency, group leads fund the shaping of lowbies.
Keep in mind that I can see both of your points on this issue, but am opposed to the Bank Idea. However, the offline SG Invites would be NICE! -

Quote:That is EXACTLY what I thought when I read the title. No, I don't think my god is in this game. In fact, I haven't got one, so that would be... difficult for the devs to implement.
(Title changed for accuracy.)
Also:
You scored 93.94% of the possible points for this test. -
To be serious:
Anything Elec for Scrappers/Tanks. There are a TON of them running around at the moment. Actually, ALL of the newly proliferated sets are in good supply as far as I can tell (notable exception may be a Traps Defender). -
-
Thanks for your thoughts Roderick. I agree with you for the most part, but I guess while playing the game, certain sections just look kinda sexist.
Regarding this:
Yes. I think so. Many players have played this game for 5+ years and a lot of the enemy groups have not change appreciably at all in that time. It would be great to throw a fresh coat of paint (err, gender?) on things. Would it be game changing? No, but it would be nice to walk into a map filled with Sky Raiders and see a few that are actually new and different... likewise for the Malta Group (as you mentioned), the Freaks, etc. -
The last time I ran a Mayhem, most all of the destructables were gray to me... I would have to take a second look at it as I didn't really pay much attention.
Certainly odd though, if your assessment is correct. -
Quote:Scary thought: what if you HAVE fought female trolls.I haven't seen anyone mention trolls. I've fought a lot of trolls and seen only guys. I would think street superadyne wouldn't discriminate. I realize testosterone might amplify the results, but I'd think lady trolls could be found in the low to medium levels at least.
Eeeeee. Taking hormones can really change a person (and isn't that kinda the end result of 'Dyne?). -
In theory, I think that is a marvelous idea. However, the execution and reality of this coming to fruition leaves me in doubt. After all, at it's heart the S&I section would be remiss without hundreds of duplicate whiney threads.
