Really, I can't believe it took me so long to realize that would be the perfect moment for Wassy to depict for one of my girls. Beautiful and melancholy as I was hoping it would be, done with real sensitivity and attention to story and character. Thank you so much for creating this.

PinUp Girl is a pretty unsubtle homage to Bettie Page, as well as the classic pinups and nose art of the WWII era.

The Shrike was influenced heavily by the Rocketeer, Valkyrie (of Airboy comics) and Russell Keaton's fabulous Flyin' Jenny Dare.

Cavalry McClellan is (conceptually) the love child of Indiana Jones and Annie Oakley.

That's *really* nice. One of your best, I'd say. I love the flames.
