I've always wanted to make Enkidu, but could never get the proper look right.
-
I'm not sure if this is more for the Mac section, but is their a working version of mids or a similar program that works on Mac? I remember mids not working some previous builds ago.
-
The theory has already been stated that she may have developed her earth persona from watching television and trying to emulate what she thinks is a typical teenage girl.
-
I'm in favor of having costume bits being a reward for TFs and SFs, like the Roman costume pieces. Maybe when they redo some of the old TFs, they can add in some pieces from the villains the TF is mostly centered around.
-
I'm just excited for any story involving the New Gods, but I expect it may be centered on the Forever People and Infinity Man.

Quote:I thought the cookies thing was because martians (especially the Martian Manhunter) love cookies? Also, Superboy's favorite tv seems to be static. With Artemis' story being her shady origins, do you really think they'll do it with another one? Wasn't J'onn's original detective persona developed by watching tv? Ah well, if they ever do a White Martian/Hyper Clan invasion, they could use her comic origin for a plot point. Her father is Sportsmaster, who was seen in the episode Drop Zone working with Kobra and the mysterious group of unseen villains.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS
Fans have been connecting the dots based on hints the writers have dropped in interviews and in the show itself.
That wasn't Ms. Martian, but a character from a sitcom, presumably titled 'Hello Megan!'. A snippit advertising the show can be heard on the TV playing in the background in Artemis' home in the episode Downtime
M'gann learned about Earth from watching old sitcoms, and patterned her looks and personality on the sitcom character Megan, right down to acting ditzy, baking cookies for her friends and using the "Hello Megan!" catchphrase constantly because she thinks that's how an "Earth girl" is supposed to act.
Presumably, Superboy spends some time watching TV at the HQ, has seen the show and has put two and two together. He may be the only one on the team who realizes where she gets it from and thus sees though her "act".

Cool concept, poorly executed. By the end of the day, it feels like a long excuse for all these new weapons that can kill kryptonians.
-
My thoughts were to keep Combat Jumping. What do you think is a good ancillary or patron power for MA/Regen?
-
Hasten is definitely a must, but without beast or ninja run, I feel like I can replace Hover with something else.
-
Quote:The Joker had many different back stories before Heath Ledger, and all were never really that important to the character. At the risk of putting too fine a point on it, what do you want villains to do, if not try to take over the world? I don't think it'd be any better if the praetorians wanted to rob banks or whatever.
Also, Joker had a backstory, at least before the Heath Ledger rendition. And I suspect the Ledger Joker didn't need a backstory because people already "know" who the Joker is. He doesn't need to be explained. -
Well, since I have the vet rewards, I don't need a previous power to get a travel power. I can also get it as early as level 6.
-
I hate to sound demanding, but could someone make me an IO'ed MA/Regen build? It is clear that I am not sure what I am doing. My MA/Regen still has wasted slots from when fitness wasn't an inherent. If someone does help me, keep in my that I can get travel powers st 6, bypassing the need to get a previous power.

Quote:I would love some Norse myth missions. Hell, I'd like some more myth missions in general. Sure, Statesman and Lord Recluse are tied to Zeus and Tartarus, but so far the only real Greco-Roman entities we've seen are Ganymede and Cupid.I will admit, that is one thing I congratulate the devs on.
They avoided making a Dictator into a cheap Castro, Stalin, or Hitler fashion knock off and instead made him look like he's auditioning for The Candyman Can.
And while I to some extent I disagree with Ketch's "The with a gun versus God" syndrome, it does hold merit. Part of the problem is that the best ways to make the Guy with Gun feel like a credible threat to god can be seen in games like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta*, which can't be supported by the game's engine.
*I should note that while Dual Pistols attempted to do this, it didn't quite work out since even Dante will sometimes just stand and repeatedly tap the triggers than twirl them around a thousand times before firing once.
Now another fun thing that might be worthwhile for incarnate trials is delving into Norse myth.
Think about it, what if Odin saw all these people striving to become god-like warriors? He might be pretty interested and even be willing to help them earn more power (especially if he saw the Coming Storm and Ragnarok as the same thing) by opening up "The Challenges of Valhalla". This would be great for opening up solo/small teamed in Incarnate trials/TFs as well as large trials/events/TFs (afterall, during Ragnarok you'll never know when you will be fighting as many or as one, so it's best just to be prepared).
to make things really interesting, since these would all be glorified training exercises, TFs could also be open to failure without reward without any real consequence on the world around you.
Instead of having Tyrant as a clean looking dictator, why not make him somewhat right? Like there is some method to what he is doing. One of the reasons villains like Magneto and Doctor Doom are so loved is that they aren't mustache-twirling evil. Magneto is fighting for his people, but takes it to the extreme and Doctor Doom wants to control the world because he feels he is the only one who can save it, and he may actually be right. -
I think what CoX needs is to stop making new villain groups for a bit and expand the ones we have. Heck, have the 5th Column absorb the Council, there's enough redundancy between the two and the 5th have always been the more interesting.
-
For the updated version, could you make one with a travel power at level 6?
-
Like I said, a friend had a lot of input in this build (since mids screwed up on my computer so I had to use his). I usually trust his ideas (he has a pretty good BS/Regen scrapper) but it is clear that he doesn't know much about MA. It doesn't help that I've have had my original build since CS was only a stun and I had to spend power levels getting the fitness pool.
My friend is away right now, so if anyone could actually fix my build and post it, I would be very grateful (can't really craft a build in Microsoft Word). I'm not sure what is best in lieu of no longer selecting fitness and CAK and CS becoming much more useful has also perplexed me. Also, I have never truly slotted a character completely with IOs, so I am dealing with all these hurdles at once. -
Maybe a more varied monster set would be cool. Stuff from other myths such as Norse legends like Fenrir and the World Serpent. Also, Ray Harryhausen aesthetic would be cool.
-
Here's another build I have been tweaking. I chose stealth and invisibility for speed runs for TFs. Is it better than the first? What changes are needed?

I'm building a new MA/Regen loadout from some suggestions from some friends, but I've hit a snag a bit. I would really like to hear your input on my build.
