The Dev team works on the game. They have nothing to do with the awarding of the vet badges, aside from deciding what rewards will be with the badges and probably adding a new piece of art (likely an existing template).
If you have to call them again, complain about having to call each time to get it awarded. Ask (politely) to speak to a supervisor and complain to them about having to call each time to get it awarded. -

Megumi will have to find his own salve unfortunately.
All of my salve is being used to vent my frustrations about being stuck without a work release for at least another week. I'm going nuts not being able to get back to work. It's not like I have to do any heavy lifting, I can always get guys from In School Suspension to do the lifting. -

It could be as simple as needing to remove the memory, blow out dust in the memory slots and around it as well as on the memory sticks, then reseat the memory fully.

The other solution would be to go back to a previous driver release.

Please make sure you post this in the Mac Users section of the Forums under Player Help.
I didn't see anything there about it with a quick glance, but I may have missed it. CuppaManga or another Mac user may have a workaround.
Also, please make sure you file a /bug report and a support ticket on this as well including all of the information you listed here. -

to expand a bit on Shecky's question about the drivers, did you download the drivers from the nVidia site or are you using the drivers that Windows installs? The native Windows 7 drivers are fine for Word, Excel, Solitaire, and other non-graphics intensive programs but not at all capable of running the game. Make sure that you download the correct drivers from the nVidia website.
Secondly, post a log from running CoH Helper as it will give information about your system and the CoH installation and settings.
Thirdly, post a log from running HijackThis. This will show what else is going on on your computer while you are playing CoH. -
Only if the new router has 10/100/1000 ports and he has a Gigabit network adapter in his computer, and then it will only be the network connection that is faster. Nothing in a router will speed up the computer itself.
I've not seen any G routers with 10/100/1000 ports, although they may exist. -

Ok. Let's start with the ingame graphics settings.
I recommend setting it to run in Windowed Mode at the Desktop resolution since Windows 7 has problems at times with Alt-Tab while playing.
Turn off Vertical Sync.
Turn off Anisotropic Filtering.
Turn off Bloom.
Turn off Depth of Field.
Lower the Max Particles to 25050.
You can find explanations and the CCC settings to use in the first post of Bill Z Bubba's stickied ATI Issues and Settings Recommendations thread at the top of the Technical forums.
The good new is that once Going Rogue is released, and the concurrent issue for those that don't buy the expansion, the ATI issues will be resolved.
Others have resolved some issues by making sure that Compatibility Mode is NOT enabled on the shortcut for launching CoH. I do recommend setting it to Run as Administrator however. -

After a half-decent night's sleep, re-reading all of the thread, a bit of reflection, and advice from a friend I've come to a simple conclusion.
I've apparently let past interactions with various people (not just Chrome) color my perceptions a bit too much, and I'm likely reading things into the posts that aren't there.
In many ways I'll never change how I let past interactions with people affect how I deal with them today, as that is how things work whether online or in real life.
Just chalk everything after my first post up to the paranoid ramblings of an old man.
