  1. I wish to god they'd save the descriptions.
    Gone in, powers, look, name, bio...wait, somethings not quite right...go back and fix it, come back...
    All that lovely writing is gone.

    Yes, I COULD type it in word....but word has no, heh, word limit. The bio box does. Ergo, either they could do us a favour and remove the word limit, or do us a favour and save the writings. Plzkthx XP

    Height Editing

    Given we can edit all of the sliders on a character so far...please, why can we not edit the hieght?

    For example, a character that is huge in a suit of armour might in fact be tiny without it.
    Or, in the case that is really miffing me is my Crab Spider. I built him nearer human size, and THEN realised that, although hes a bit taler than most humans, NPC Crabs are MAHOOSIVE.
    Please lord let us edit the hieght.
    And, actually, some sort of scale comparison in the Chari creator would be nice. Cos even civilian NPCs are topping 6' something.

    I already did a suggestion for the weapon emotes, a fair time ago. Its one of those things that 'may' get done.

    Either two handed swords would be nice, or hand and a half swords. Just for looks, but hey.
    And yeah, this is a universe with psychics, aliens, robots, all sortsa crazy jumbo...and the 5th Column, eh Col? anyway, its a matter of opinion.

    The prices on IO sets are so ludicrously high, this is just common sense to avoid a lot of really angry gamers.

  9. Just thought Id stick this up to try and shine some light on something that puzzles me, and probably a fair few other people as well;
    How do Arachnos ranks actually work.

    The only named enemies we have seem to be;

    Wolf
    Tac Ops
    Huntsman
    Crab Slicer
    Crab Longfang
    Webmaster
    Commando
    Scout
    Executioner

    Thats just for the normal soldiers. But theres plenty of other ranks that people assigne during RP. And I dont think theres any official ranking system mentioned in the background. So, this is my musings. This ain't canon (doh XD) this is just an idea;

    Wolfs:

    Operative - Wolf
    Corporal - Wolf/Tac Ops
    Sergeant - Tac Ops
    Sergeant at Arms - Tac Ops/Huntsman
    Lieutenant - Huntsman
    Captain - "
    Colonel - "
    Lieutenant Commander - "
    Commander - "

    Crabs would probably follow a similar structure.

    Banes;

    Operative - Commando
    Corporal - Commando
    Sergeant - Commando/Scout
    Sergeant at Arms - Commando/Scout
    Sergeant Major - Commando/Scout
    Lieutenant - Scout
    Captain - Scout/Executioner
    Vice-Captain - Scout/Executioner

    Anyway, just vague ideas. Im just wondering, to save possible confusion with spider RP. For example, if A is a Captain, but B is a Huntsman, how would that relate?

  10. That, unfortunately, is a fact that you have to guard against anyway. Thats not the devs, or the system, thats *people*.
    Maybe promote a friend of yours to be a backup Commander while your on holiday. -shrug-
  11. The only thing that bugs me is how, without fail, the drops I get are, infallibly, worth very little. A part each of Miracle and Scirrocos Dervish, and they ended up being near worthless. And, anything I want to buy, is, infallibly, uber expensive.
    But thats just my poor luck :P -sigh-

    It just....works. Afaik, theres no exploits you could get here. After all, the Prestige has been earned by someone anyway. -shrug- Its late, if anyone can see a flaw, stick it up.
  13. 30s are the hardest part of the game. Word.
    The trick is rally to team as much as possible. CoV seems to be mainly about soloing. CoH is the exact opposite. 8 manning an unyielding AV mission is normally a challange that also ramps up the exp gained.
    Oh, and lvl 35 = RWZ

    As for ATs, I find blasters more fun than Corrupters, really. Blasters are lethal whatever range they are. Corrs are good at range but then feel like a weak defender type.
    If you want a fast lvling defender, go for full empath. Mine went from 1-20 in near record time the only reason she stopped is cos I aint logged her in ages.

    Aside from that, /signed. I had to update the wiki page for the Corp one time....that took a long time, a pencil and paper and a lot of patience :P
  15. No, I have noticed that sometimes, especially after sniper rifle fires, that getting a chain going is really quite hard. Slug especially fires far too slow (imo)
    Grenade is ok, burst is fine, buckshot I didnt take :P
    Minor thing really, but trying to chain sniper and slug can be really frustrating, especially on enemies like Raider Engineers.

  18. Hmm, a bit complex.
    Personally, id love it if they simply improved the pet AI, as it is horribly horribly stupid at the present moment.
    My personal ideas;
    -Clamp pet speed down to stay similar to NPCs and PCs. They run far too fast at the moment, landing them in all sortsa hell.
    -Sort out a decent command menu that makes it easier to coordinate pets.
    -Fix pathing for pets (espcially Protector Bot bug >&lt
    - Even up when they use certain abilities (namely Protector bot heals)

    Just my 2 inf. I still love MMs, its just the little details =3

  20. The Chief came too a while later. Wolf was sat patiently next to him, watching as the other Heroes milled around.
    "We bagged and tagged that last one," Wolf said, noticing the Chief was back online. "Dunno whats really happening just yet."
    "Hm...then I guess we wait and see," the Chief answered, sitting up and massaging his head. Tolinium steel was second only to Impervium in strength, but he still felt bruised. There certainly felt like a few servos out of place.
    The Chief sat back, waiting to see if everything was over...

    But then do Incarnates only team with Incarnates? If its that much harder, which it would prabably need to be, then 'normal' heroes wouldnt be able to keep up.
    And the biggest question would be PVP. Incarnates, if represented accurately, would chew up even the most determined stalker/corruptor/blaster that PVPs and spit them back out.
    I just dont see this working without causing a hella lot of work for both the Devs and the back story =/ Im not too keen on it, meself. Let States and Recluse have their loftiness to themselves...
    Make it all the more satisfying when we open a can of whoopa$$ on them
  22. It would be fun, yes...but not for all the poor watsits that couldnt get it. And, if it made the game too easy, then it would just end up being boring. Which kinda defeats the point =3
  23. The Troll was now in trouble. The Chief wasnt fighting, not anymore. He was a melee, all by himself. Blows hammered into ever inch of the over-powered flesh, nerves straining under the constant pounding. The Troll snarled, smashing both hands down on top of the raging being. The Chief was stopped....momentarily. Then he rose from his knees with a blow that nearly broke even the Trolls solid jaw.
    And then the Kaarinian robot latched onto the thing, smashing his head square into its face. Again, again and again and again. Slowly, the roaring stopped, the knees buckled. The Troll slumped to the floor, groaning. The Chief stepped down, wavering slightly, before letting rip with a bolt of flame red energy from his eyes. With a roar like a jet engine, the troll was pounded squarely into the concrete.
    The Chief waited, counting slowly under his breath, until he was satisfied that the thing wouldnt get up again. Slowly, the glow fading, he keeled over, going from vertical to horizontal in one smooth curve, his back hitting the pavement with a solid clang.

    Meh, fair point I guess. Maybe give them a battlearmour option. I Know Id sign up to wear one of those Shell or Hardsuits :P
    As to Scrapyarders, YES they are stupidly overpowered. It really galls me. Wyvern are bad enough. Mind you, I think dynamite would hurt whatever you are. But, again, meh...
    Anyhow, it was a suggestion. I think it was quite neat. Game on.

    Meh, the fact that not all Villains are superpowered still leads me to disagree. Anyway, PPD Swat, namely Grenadier bosses, are still human, and can still duke the watsits offa people.
    And, hang on, arent Heroes doing the same thing? Protecting the streets? I dont really see the differences. As far as I can make out, in fact, most of the PPD could easily be classed as Natural origin heroes. Its so fine a line I dont even know if its there.
