In terms of real life, sure.
In terms of gameplay I find the Smashy-smashy of Mayhems way more fun than "run to the bank, beat up boss, exit out again" Safeguards.
I'm still hoping we get the chance to make Hero Mayhems with i14 (hey it's all virtual right? So no problem with it being unheroic any more).

EDIT: I also enjoy non herding teams aswell but i feel more safe knowing that the tank can control the aggro. -

I think herding is fine from 5+ members myself, since a lot off debuffs and such are aoe centric and get maximised effect when all are in range instead of everything being scattered all over the place. Herding feels more efficent to me and much safer. Thats on unyielding/invinci though.

Huge endurance issues is what i see also you may want the bonus but ablating is your highest dpa attack in the primary and should be slotted as an attack.
With your low netgain and less endurance slotting in attacks it will go SCHLURP and your endurance is gone. -
ok shred apparently soloed shadowhunter in ~5 minutes with his dm/shield.
my fire/sr feels less tempting now -
and theres plenty of other av killers running around with 180% accuracy or less.

pretty endurance efficient already, gonna try without it and see what happens.

180% would be enough, problem is he has no defense mitigation aside from heightened senses and weave.
He could do it with insps though. -
What col said, in my opinion best dps set for brutes AND it has massive burst.
Also it has that wonderful smashy feeling. -
20% to all positions out of hide, capped with shadow meld with some extra for defence debuffs
enough accuracy for your attacks to hit and heavier end redux slotting to counter the increased recharge

You don't need aid self really with insps. It's nice however if you don't want to rely on insps or your team for your survivability.

Been playing a invul brute lately and the only downside is the late mez protection. Odd thing is though is i currently have a slight problem with big bursting s/l(ss mooks, council bosses, snakes) enemies at relentless but that should be solved with so's.

So with all toggles and passives + cj i have 33 to all positions thus i would be at the softcap with a single luck. Is there a point to having elude? Thanks to lightning reflexes i have a seemless attack chain with no recharges in attacks and that has allowed me to slot for end redux. Fire/SR btw

If the situation allows it i stick phantasm in a roof for hoverbombing.

Well i cant really let this one go yet after seeing how that invul scrapper soloed itf. so ´m going to level it and see if i can find a build that works for me.
And cremate is awesome, rather have a chunky fast activating st attack than a mediocre aoe that takes a half hour to animate.
Fire melee is awesome in general and been tinkering with a fire/invul scrapper with 33 to all but psi.
