I really wish people wouldn't wait for the Devs to have a "renewed interest" in AE to get active here, but in some ways I understand.

Thanx for posting it on FB... I haven't been on my account in too long.
It was very short notice... and I wanted to keep first session small, which was good.
By doing this weekly and having the ability to pop in for one arc and go... I hope some will find a way to wedge themselves in.
And, I'm open to rotating the night of the week to meet someone's schedule if need be, just need info ahead of time. -
Think I'm gonna be occupied 9pm EST on Friday.
I wanna... but not sure if I'm gonna.

Yea, yea.. short notice on first session... sorry bout that.
Anyhoo... wanted to state that I'd prefer if arcs to be played/reviewed are in a "Published" state. We did do some "Test Mode" tonight, but I really would like products to be in a "In Progress" or better state for this.
Will clarify the posts. -
I'll drop by here in the future with suggestions once I understand what exactly it is you are all considering to be "Dev Choice"... if it's confined to "canon"-related and so-forth.
For now, I'll keep it simple by seconding Bubbawheat's suggestion of:

Again, that's what this is about... getting exposure to the later arcs, authors in need of a boost or things along those lines.
I really, really, really want to stress for people to see creations for what they are.
Like, when I see Thor in the theatres... I'm not going to be pleased if I was hoping for The Piano, I Spit on Your Grave or The Smurfs.
I may have my favorite genre, but I appreciate things for what they are and that's all I'm asking those who participate. Just because it's not my cup of tea doesn't mean it's not someone else's.
If this develops how I hope, we can try to find reviewers who appreciate a certain genre to help review and comment to arcs that fit a category.
Either way, I'll be here for the long haul (pending real life circumstances of course)... -
That's my preference. Personal attention.
I don't want the times of this to interfere with the endeavors of the AE Storyteam... but the times and days are subject to change based on author availability.
I just wanted to have Wednesdays be a launching ground for this and see where it goes.
And authors, please don't fret about how early or rough you feel your creation may be... that's what this is for.
If you're looking for definite plays and feedback, here's your opportunity. -

The greater the demand for player-created content improves the chances that authors and mission designers will be given greater tools in which to present their stories and missions. Therefore, "Mission: Æxcellence" has been created in hopes of bringing together positive and community-minded individuals to improve the quality and demand of player-created content.
Almost sounds like a mission statement! O.O
What's this about?- Sessions of aspiring authors and avid mission players within the Architect Entertainment system to provide testing, plays and feedback to participating authors in a positive and respectful manner.
- Note that authors who participate more will have their arcs given higher priority, but will only be 1 at a time. Otherwise, lower rating and lower played arcs will be the priority.
- The driving force behind these sessions will be the community and the continued participation in helping aspiring authors and mission designers provide a highly polished finished product they can be proud of.
- There will be no special treatment towards any author due to their veteran or A/E status. How soon an author's creation (or re-creation) gets played will be based on their participation.
- First and foremost, positive-minded people who get involved.
- These sessions are for those who want to be inspired and be an inspiration to the community around them... continuously.
- These sessions will not be for those who simply want to create a mission or arc, publish it, advertise it and hope for plays while they are off doing missions, task forces and trials.
- For the non-authors, these sessions will be a way to voice your opinons on how authors can better improve aspects of their creations.
- Every genre except blatant farms. Canon-related, comedy, horror, origin, etc. are all welcome.
- Please have a "Published" product and do "Test" mode beforehand, even if the work is "In Progress" is fine.
- It will be encouraged to see your creations for what they are, and not for what they are wanted to be.
- Individuality is high on the list of priorities here, but please be open to input.
- Primarily on the Guardian server until VIPs get free server transfers, at which time I will gradually move alts to all servers with highest popularity of participating authors home servers first.
- The Architect Entertainment building in Rikti War Zone will be the meeting point, so all levels and archetypes are welcome.
- Wednesday nights from 9-11pm Eastern / 6-8pm Pacific unless stated otherwise. See "Next Session" below.
- Note that participants do not need to be present the whole time.
- Additional nights and times may be added in the future to meet demands.
- Post a notification here or "/t @SupaFreak, " in-game of your desire to participate.
