  1. Any.

Some extra aoe damage helps, but isn't necessary.
  2. Sweet, thanks!

"I know; I was speechless too."
  3. Two words: Executioner's Shot.

A nice, subtle animation, and great sound effect to boot. I use it as my finisher whenever possible simply for epic-ness. There are few things as enjoyable as levelling your gun at the back of someone's skull and blowing 'em clean across a room.
  4. That was pretty funny.

Too bad the movie will be craptastic.

    Mercs/????

I quite enjoy my Mercs/FF MM when I play him, which unfortunately isn't that often. I'm still working on getting him all slotted up, which will help a ton, but he's still effective. Repulsion Field is nice for keeping enemies out of melee but costs an ***-ton of end to run.

The bubbles help keep you and your henchmen alive, but FF really does nothing to improve kill speed which kind of sucks. Conceptually, the combo works really well for my character, but it lacks oomph which is probably why I don't play him that often.

Now, Mercs/Storm, that would be a crapload of fun.

    Boom crash!

Sorry, my bad, was trying to sell Heavy Water and Scopes on the market rather than to a vendor. The server had a stupidity overload and needs to go for a relaxing walk.

    As do most attack sets.

    Dual Blades

I have an Inv/DB in the forties and it's a lot of fun, if a little different from most of my other tanks. Very fun to play. It's enjoyable enough in the low-levels, although it's like most tankers in that it matures late.
  9. Yeah, can't think of a 'bad' combo off the top of my head.

Kinetics/Energy Blast is a solid example of bad synergy with a knockback-filled blast set paired with a melee-centric primary. Even so, the character can function well once you grasp when to use your attacks.
  10. Article here.

I'd read a few days ago that he was rumored in the role, and apparently he's confirmed it.

The Wellington-born actor told TV3 movie show Reel Late with Kate that he had officially been given the role, saying: "Yes, it's true, I am the Law"
While not a big fan of the character (no feelings either way), Urban is one of my favourite new actors. Hopefully it turns out well.

    DB/??

Willpower, Inv, and SR have relatively few click powers to cause redraw/interrupt combos. From my experience with an Inv/DB tanker I'd highly recommend it.

  12. Fire, Earth (stone), Electricity would all be solid choices.

Stone/Fire/Mu brute would work well. I also tried a Fire/Earth/Mu dominator.
  13. Water sucks the heat right outta you. They (mammals) would likely all die of hypothermia if they weren't a little hefty.

    Has anyone ever?

Yeah, there are a few sculptors.

    The poster DrainBamage does some.

There's also the Comrade Hero Sculpture Project with the sculpting done by Lee99.
  15. My vote goes for MA/Elec. I've played /Regen, /Fire, and /WP to the late game paired with Martial Arts and WP was the least enjoyable. Not because it's a bad set, but because it's so boring. Willpower will be the tougher of the two, but Electric will likely be a lot more interesting.
  16. A Fire/Dark Corruptor paired with a Fire/Dark Tanker might be ridiculously insane once GR comes along.

A Fire/Dark corruptor with a Claws/Regen scrapper would absolutely demolish low-level content with both maturing quite well by level 10-16.
  17. Because it's unpossible to be Dark and not emo.

It's also more difficult to set up your lines targeting an enemy right beside you. If you're a tiny bit to the side, you end up turning and firing your cone off into no man's land.

Sure it is. An annoying, waste of end, xp leaching playstyle, but playstyle it is.

Glad to have you in the game Danny, and glad to see you're willing to learn something new. That's a better start than most, and better mindset than some veterans.

    Mercs/????

I'd agree that Merc/FF is boring, but it does help in keeping enemies away from the mercs so they can hammer them from a distance. That said, mine stalled in the mid-30's quite some time ago after being ganked by BAB's in a mission.
