Also try the backslash key \

  2. Make sure you include the comma, it's required.

Im pretty sure Ive gotten a second wedding band after my first ran out on a 50 by running steph's arc again through Oro.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I believe the Ouro version is an Echo version. It only lasts for something like 5 minutes, compared to 2(?) hours.

  4. And the problem is...?

I just logged onto justice, went to black market, moved character around to new day job, not a problem.

Or maybe they are coming to realize what I am coming to realize, that only a few people on these forums actually ever help anyone. The rest just have pompous condescending replies for no purpose other than making people posting feel stupid.

Oh, we're helpful when the post makes sense and isn't just a knee-jerk whine.

  7. Use merits from TFs to buy popular recipes, craft and sell the IOs. Memorize common IO recipes, craft and sell the ones everyone needs (Damage, Acc, Endurance, recharge). Buy up salvage at low prices, flip and resell at higher prices.

It's possible that the shift key got messed up with all your previous attempts. Try /unbind shift and see if that fixes it.

[/ QUOTE ]I would use /bind shift nop when trying to clear a key instead, as unbind just sets it to the default.

    [/ QUOTE ]
The default of shift is Nop.

How do you live with out haste?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Quite well.

I have very few characters with Haste. If recharge is a problem, I tend to slot for it (not multi-million-IO-slot, just throw a recharge redux in.)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Same. Slot for recharge, and get sets for recharge. The only time I grab hasten anymore is for characters with multiple powers that have really long recharges.

I've never understood the whole Auto Fire Hasten thing... I have Hasten bound to a key, generally MULTIPLY, and it's simple to reach over and press * when Hasten is recharged...

    [/ QUOTE ]

It's for those of us who forget to fire it off when it's recharged.

    [/ QUOTE ]

This. Put it on auto and you can concentrate on other things, like taking out the enemy . Otherwise you have to keep checking to see when it's ready to be used.
  13. [ QUOTE ]
Well, you might want to manually eliminate the spam handles if you have "real" players that you want to ignore, so that the jerks you added don't get a free pass.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    This, big time.

My workaround has been to create a bind file to run every now and then. It /unignores all the jerks I want to keep on the list, then re-/ignores them. This moves them to the top of the list. I just have to run it once every week or two.

Citybinder makes it pretty easy to keep up.

Also, the preferred bind for the CCE commands seems to be:-

    eg: /bind H "emote none$$cce 0 cclightning"

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's the only time you need the quote marks, when you're combining two commands into a single bind or macro. Otherwise you can do it with no quote marks.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Quotation marks are also needed when there are spaces in the variable name, like:

    /setchat "Global Channel"

    [/ QUOTE ]

/ChatSet Jello Shooters worked fine without quotes here. /setchat, on the other hand, says Unknown command: setchat .

(wonder if the limit on the forums is 200 too)

Limit ingame is only 100. It was supposed to get raised to 200, but it either never did, or got reversed at some point.

Well.. ok.. you got me there.. it's not really LoS to your character.. just LoS to your "camera", so you'll be able to actually click it.

As for proximity.. I haven't found any distance that it doesn't work at. You have me curious about it now though. I think I'll try to measure it one of these days and find out.

    [/ QUOTE ]

While the range is extreme for a glowie, you can be within LOS and still not be able to click it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Read what is typewritten: "It's not really LoS to your character...just LoS to your "camera", so you'll be able to actually click it."

The glowies in the CoTTrial are bugged in that you *can* do long distance clicking. I've bugged it long ago, and I doubt it's been fixed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I read what was said. Read what I said. You can be within line of sight, camera or otherwise, and still not be able to click it if you are far enough away. There is a limited to the range you can click it from. It is extreme but there is a limit.
