  1. Since this has already been changed, I'd like some official word that the removal of prisoners was due to an exploit, and not just because some farmer was exploiting it. Long term, I'm either going to have to make an entire custom prisoner faction and insert some stupid mob for a level limiter in my arc instead of using the existing, level limiting faction that looks perfect in the Zig map.

    If they removed to get rid of farming, well then I can think of a few other factions to remove and limitations to set on custom mobs to help get rid of farming, if the devs want to go that route.

    SO, were the prisoners removed due to "issues" or for other reasons? Since the patch is already live, it would be nice to get a straight answer.

    Why would a game set in modern times have a classic pirate ship as anything other than a wreck?
  3. Well, I was using the Prisoners as a spawn level cap as well, so the last 2 missions spawned from 30-38. Now I have to figure out a workaround and stick in a mob that doesn't make any sense, and hide it somehow.

  5. I seriously hope this gets changed back. Prisioners in the Zig yard and around the boss in the final mission of my arc really make it work!

  7. Some of the coolest maps introduced recently have been transition maps, where the tileset changes from office to cave, or sewer to cave, etc.

    Let's have some more of these!

    Office <--> Warehouse
    Office <--> Tech
    Warehouse <--> Tech

    As above, but Abandoned

    Cave <--> Oranbega
    Cave <--> Arachnoid Cave

    You can get all kinds of neat situations like this. Investigating a research facility and the attached office. Investigating a normal cave and finding an entrance into Oranbega. Finding a high tech production facility and their shipping warehouse.

    Also, how about more outdoor maps that are part of existing zones, a la mayhem and safeguard maps? It would be awesome to have to fight the Family on an instanced map of the docks of IP, or the Clockwork in an instanced version of the industrial area of KR.
  8. So as I was logging on to my main earlier, I noticed that I had 55 free costume change tokens. I'm never going to use this many! I might use a half dozen in the future of my character, at the most.

    So, I suggest that they be changed so that we can do something with them.

    1) Let us trade them like we trade salvage and infamy. That way, we can give them to new alts who can't afford new costumes, or sell them, or just give them away if we feel generous. This could also include allowing them to be sold on the market.

    2) Let us sell them to stores, or back to Icon employees for either a set price, or a sliding price based on level, much like the cost of a costume.

    Edit: Also, tag veteran tokens to be untradable/unsaleable.

    AVs will always downgrade to EBs when you are soloing, unless you are on the highest difficulty level, and standard bosses cannot spawn as more than a boss.

    If you want a custom enemy to be an EB or AV, just choose that option when making the character. You can't stop them from being downgraded based on team makeup and player settings.

  14. Don't know the name exactly, but there is an arachnos/arachnoid cave pack. I would assume its in there. I'll double check when servers are up.

    Instead of making her an interactive glowie (since I thought I read they can't be reactively linked, though I have not tried it, what about making her a reactively linked Ally or other NPC that can pop up at the time you want her? She can spout some specific dialogue then you can possibly add more specific information in an (optional) clue completion entry?

  18. So, I have a series of objectives in one of my missions, and I would like to include a glowie in that series. Basically, the first objective involves finding a husband. Once you rescue him, you have to find his wife and his son. The son is a boss fight, which works perfectly, but the wife is a glowie, which appears to not have a dependency option. This means it always shows up in the nav bar, even before the husband is rescued.

    So, I'm looking for a way to make the glowie objective appear after the rescue, or make it not show up on the nav bar at all and just let the player find it. How do I do this?
  19. Stick in a patrol of Hellions or Skulls somewhere, and it'll force the mission to that level.
  20. I tend not to comment on arcs that I rate as one star, because they are so bad I don't think they could be fixed. But then again, I actually play, or attempt to play, arcs that I rate.

    If you are annoyed at a low rating, the easiest thing to do is form a team, run the mission, and ask them to rate it. If it's good, the low rating will get obliterated by the new, honest ratings.
