I had bugged ambushes on the first mission of Mercedes Sheldon's third arc - think the mission was "Fight the Warriors" Had Menelaus and at least one other ambush spawn simultaneously.

I let others farm and make my money from crafting. :-D

I'm working on a character that needs a Vanguard costume. Does Pinnacle have a Mothership Raid on a routine schedule?

Any more feedback before I consign this suggestion to the dustbin of the forums?

While I appreciate TLAPD, cross posting is bad.

At this point the game has died and risen from the dead more times than Zombie Jesus.

Quote:I still haven't seen the developer quote that links I17 and GR... All I remember is the post from BaB relating I15, I16 and GR.I17 and Going Rogue are likely to come out at the same time. Much like with CoV, the devs would generally release an Issue alongside an expansion- to match things up with the expansion content, and so players that don't have the expansion yet don't have to download a big patch full of stuff they can't access.
Mind you, we have no idea at all what I17 will entail beyond that, so it's all baseless speculation and lies for a while. -
Quote:I dropped the available level and damage of crane kick (high -> moderate) due to the typical tier 1 of blaster secondaries. Every blaster secondary starts with a ranged moderate damage immobl, except Energy Manipulation, which starts with a melee minor damage KB.I agree that Martial Arts would make a good blaster secondary, but I think you've got Crane Kick coming in at too low a level. That's the second best attack in Martial Arts.
Some form of katana or dual blades would be highly appropriate for archery blasters, I think.
I think this sort of thing has been suggested before, but I've never seen a redname comment on it.
I'm in favor of this. -
Quote:I know this is possible, but I actually meant if there were some bizzare way to only do the last mission - i.e. you talk to Synapse and he says "Go defeat the Clockwork King!" The way you mention, most of you are only doing one mission, but the whole TF is still being done.In fact it doesn't take a particularly bizarre way; several friends and I all got a number of TF badges after they put TF Commander in because one of us was unemployed at the time and the rest of us could get on briefly in the morning and evening.
We'd start a TF, all log off, the friend with time during the day would solo the whole TF, then we'd log back on for the last mission as a group in the evening.
Still completely possible to do, but be aware that (1) spawn sizes are set for all the people on the TF, logged on or not, so the soloer better be able to handle large spawns and (2) you need to keep a minimum of 2 people on the TF for it to continue, so you can't have all but you actually QUIT the TF. -
I've been annoyed at the lack of natural secondaries for blasters. Yeah, yeah, devices... but I want something that can blap! Who wouldn't want to throw fire at an enemy and then run up and kick them in the face!
1: Crane Kick - Melee, Moderate DMG(Smash), Foe Knockback
2: Storm Kick - Melee, Moderate DMG(Smash)
4: Thunder Kick - Melee, Moderate DMG(Smash), Foe Disorient
10: Focus Chi - Self +DMG, +To-Hit
16: Exploding Shuriken - Ranged (Targeted AoE), Moderate DMG(Lethal)
20: Cobra Strike - Melee, Minor DMG(Smash), Foe Disorient
28: Draw Chi - PBAoE, Foe -Recharge, -SPD
35: Dragon's Tail - PBAoE, Moderate DMG(Smash), Foe Knockdown
38: Eagle's Claw - Melee, Superior DMG(Smash), Foe Disorient -
I got 5 on my badger which took me up to 595, but I got as many as 9 on other characters.
-
For lack of a better description, the game only remembers one mission at a time. All the rewards are for completing the last mission in a TF. If there were some bizzare way to do only that mission instead of the whole TF, you'd still get the TF rewards.

I've recolored two of my characters so far.
The first was my my fire/storm corruptor, Nuee Ardente who go all hit storm powers recolored brown/grey, except thunder clap, which became blue/brown for the lightning. His fire powers became rich orange/red, and now rain of fire looks like lava falling out of the sky.
The second was my WP/SS tank,Deuce and a Half, who got minimal FX on willpower and grey-toned SS powers - they just look like dust, sort of like combat jumping and hover. Great for non-powered individuals. -
If you want to fight enemies that drop tech SOs, fight Nemesis.
-
Now that I've had time to sleep on it, here are my thoughts:
1: Greed
The first thing I did was log in to my badge and snag 5 new badges that tool me up to 595. I'll be in the 600 club before too long!
2: Excitement
Created my new spines/elec scrapper, Severe Tire Damage, with metallic spines and blue electricity. He's going to be fun.
3: Confusion
Grabbed my defender and joined a large team of friends, and realized I had no idea what powersets people had because they were all recolored. Accelerate Metabolism is light blue? World of Confusion is purple? I feel like I'm back in my first week of playing when I had no idea what any of the powers did.
4: Contentment
Before bed, logged onto my tank, messed with the difficulty settings and went to town. Life is good. -
For the love of god stop making new threads!

Quote:Actually that would be a urological joke. A scatological joke is the earth tanks coloring themselves brown."Yes, we get it, YelloSnoww202, just like the previous 201 customized Ice blasters, controllers, and tanks before you, you are tinted yellow as a scatalogical joke. It wasn't funny the first time."
Wait... -
I'm going to be making a spines/elec scrapper named Severe Tire Damage and a recolored Energy/Mind blaster named Tsunami Psychosis.
Most of my existing characters won't take advantage of the ability to recolor powersets because their costumes and concepts were designed to go well with the color of their powers. -
I've been SpaceNut (with numbers appended on larger communities) since the first time I created an AIM account sometime back in 98/99. I was super excited that I got the name without numbers here, although I still don't have a character named SpaceNut. I can't decide on what powersets he'd be...
Funny story: I tried to get SPACENUT on the back of a replica hockey sweater a couple years ago, but they were out of Ts. The guy suggested I get SPACEMAN instead, and I had to explain that it's not a description, it's a name.
