I would primarily stick to chem rounds to debuff the spawns damage. Pairs well with seekers as well.
If I am not the first in the spawn, I am slacking. I will wait for the tank to grab aggro if it is +3's or over. Less, or if he is slow I setup. Drop a poison trap, jump back, lay down an acid mortar, drop a triage beacon if the squishies need it, if not, start firing until my traps recharge.
Av's. Recycle your traps and fire, keep tossing out seekers as well, the -damage really does help. -
Quote:The topic is whether or not the op will be able to set up massive pvp io farms, or just look forward to ganking nubs so's he can get drops. The topic was whether f2p would bring new blood into pvp, not whether people would complain about it.
New blood, old blood, doesn't matter, long as they drop stuff. -

What, no -damage in the set too? I mean, mechanically resistance and -damage go hand in hand, so there should be a way to add that. Dark with its -tohit gets some defence in the set.
Also, to make it even more user friendly, there should probably be a rez power as well. Call it Get off the Fracking Floor or GOFF! The animation can look like my mother in law screaming at me. -

TonyV,
I would gladly pay for a Mids app for iPad/iPhone. -
Because it takes less play time to sell a few things on the market than running 5 alignment missions a day for 60 days (or if buying amerits, 30 days)

Probably best to pm a dev and not post this in player questions where everything is speculated on.

Quote:Acid mortar afaik has a chance to fire the proc every single time it fires. That is 10 times in 60 seconds. I dont worry about the archilles proc.Disruption is a pseudo pet, so 2x Disruption and 1x Acid is pretty standard of recharge builds. And like I said earlier, it's far better to be able to self target an 8' acid burst and run your Achilles Heel that way than to have to rely on pet AI.
The only time I would take Traps over TA is when there is a lone AV.
Also, the -resist in disruption arrow lasts for 5.25 seconds. Acid mortars -resist is 20 seconds.
I understand traps isnt for everyone, and thank god, otherwise it would be nerfed. -
Quote:You will have to run through the Comic Con Reveals thread, but one of the guys at the con grabbed aid self early, and asked someone there if that was working as intended. He was told yes.Are you sure that referred to non-travel pools? Travel pools have in the past been treated differently, and particularly when they made the "City Traveler" vet reward that let you pick a travel power without a prerequisite, a LOT of players assumed that meant non-travel pools too. There were a number of posts on the forums about it.
So I am a bit concerned the same eagerness might be leading to the same confusion in this case, until I see absolutely specific confirmation. -

Still need to pick 2 powers in the pool before can pick 4th and am assuming 5th tiers in the pool.

Quote:Effect does not stack from same caster. What about TA? I would put this set ahead of them all. Double stacked Disruption Field and the ability to self target "acid mortar" rounds is far superior for -resistance. Relying on a pet to target anything but a single standing AV with an 8' radius TAoE is terrible.
TA/Sonic is wicked. -
I recomend you try to change it. Have changed the global on one of my accounts at least twice in the last three years.

3 acid mortars out with the archilles heel proc is a beautifull thing.

Level 4: Triage Beacon -- Mrcl-Rcvry+(A), Numna-Regen/Rcvry+(7), Mrcl-Heal/Rchg(9), Numna-Heal/Rchg(25)
- Miracle recovery and Numina regen/recovery should go in health. I would frankenslot with 2-4 heal/recharge in this depending on how many slots you can throw at it.
Level 10: Acid Mortar -- LdyGrey-DefDeb(A), LdyGrey-%Dam(25), LdyGrey-DefDeb/EndRdx(46)
- Proc it out, get recharge down as much as possible, and for gods sake get the archilles heel -res proc in this.
Level 12: Protector Bots -- BldM'dt-Acc/Dmg(A), BldM'dt-Dmg/EndRdx(13), BldM'dt-Acc/EndRdx(13), BldM'dt-Acc/Dmg/EndRdx(15), BldM'dt-Acc(15), BldM'dt-Dmg(17)
- Throw 2 generic defence enhancments in here at least. and end reduction is good too.
Superspeed is overslotted imo.
Level 22: Poison Trap -- G'Wdw-Acc/Hold/Rchg(A), G'Wdw-Dam%(29), G'Wdw-EndRdx/Hold(31), G'Wdw-Hold/Rng(33), G'Wdw-Acc/Rchg(33), G'Wdw-Acc/EndRdx(33)
- Toss a lockdown chance to hold proc in there.
Level 35: Trip Mine -- FotG-ResDeb%(A)
- No. Are you aware this IO is over a billion influence? This is an awesome damage power if you slot it right.
My recomendation is to read a few guides, and check out other build threads before you put together another build. There is much information out there on this subject. Traps loves recharge, and is easy to softcap. If you have any specific questions, feel free to pm me. -
[QUOTE=Adeon Hawkwood;3762150]Level 12: Protector Bots -- HO:Nucle(A), HO:Nucle(13), HO:Nucle(13), Heal-I(15), HO:Enzym(15), HO:Enzym(19)
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't a heal in the protector bots usually advised against as the larger heal makes for some wonky timing from the pet scripts?
Here is my build. I dont take provoke though.

Quote:Import/Export tab at topI'd like to take a look at Dacu's build in Mids but i'm having one almighty thick day. I've only just got mids and i'm at a loss as to where i'm supposed to paste that big block of text. I looked in the help option on Mids itself and it talks about a clipboard. What clipboard?
The builds with the data link I can deal with fine, I just click it and poof! there we go. But as I said, i'm a big bag of thick today and that block of text is making my brain go wonky.
If someone could help me out i'd be very happy

I agree with you, nothing to get excited about. I thought it might be interesting to have a taunt proc that bypasses the aggro cap. Like the judgement powers but without damage.
Besides that, possibly a chance to return some end, or a damage proc would be nice. -
I have no experience with thugs, so slotted them the best I could figure.
I also have no idea what your budget is. I did use a few purple sets, but kept them the lower cost ones. There are alot of Nucleous's and Enzymes in the build. Most of the enzymes can be switched out for IO's without loosing too much % points.
The build is iSoftcapped to sm/l (No idea what numbers the enforcers return, can probably lower it a bit, but nice to not have to worry if a minnion bites it) and with a small purp it is softcapped accross the board.
Traps is all about recharge, you need your **** out as fast, and as often as possible. I recommend Spiritual to help with this.
I dropped provoke, if you feel it is vital, so be it, but fighting with the bruiser for aggro doesnt make sense to me. Can probably still work it in if you really want it.
