    Fire NRG

    I'm running a 35 fire/nrg, but all i can say is add a massive ammount of EndReds in basicly any power. Specialy when you have all toggles going you can run out of endurance extremely fast, Consume wont cut the cake (i would add a acc with Costume, its not a auto hit).

    I have 1 EndRed in fire/plasma, 2 in Blazing aura (1 taunt, 1 dmg and 2 acc), 2 in tough, 2 in Acro and i dont have Weave :P My final goal will be 2 EndReds in fire/plasma.

    The base recharge of healing flame currently still is 60 seconds, so it might be abit longer. Good thing, they will be lowering it to 40 seconds soon

    Once you get ET/TF, you should have your taunt slotted for recharge/taunt, so you can focus single target and let BA&rest of the team do the rest.

    Minor tip on the medic once you have the 2nd upgrade, dont give him. Although he gets the mez-resist buff, he will use it a bit too much instead of using his healing. Noticed quite a few times instead of healing he did the mez-resist thing, results in a dead commando.

    As for the intellect, any (really) any nontarget debuff that is put down by a mob (disruption arrow, CoT crystals, earthquack etc), they go stand next to and keep redrawing their weapon. Highly annoying.

    I've started a new mastermind, Thugs/dark, wich actualy has the same issue. Once the mob is killed, they instantly put away their gun. Even if there is a 2nd mob next to them, they redraw the gun.

    Unlike AR blaster/corrupters (or even primairy weapon of the mastermind), wich keep the weapon 'active' for a period of time.

    Possible fix: force henchmen to keep their weapon active for a longer period of time.

    Thugs might rule, but the sound.. the pee shooting sound. I just cant stand it. But i am jalours, since they quite often fire damage with is lovely for my oil slick.
  5. If you got patience for the casting/execution time, TA is a lovely set to play with, massive aoe. FF is a more easy going and self defensive, fire it off and enjoy the misses the mobs do all the time. Specialy with bots :P

    As for flasharrow, its lousy. In pvp its quite usefull due the -perc.

    Dark has fear and (massive) -acc, wich is in most cases enough already As for the actual powers, dark can do its power instant, while TA still need to grab is bow&arrow.

    Or i picked the wrong set (merc/TA) or i just cant play em too wel, but my robot/dark was doing quit abit better then a TA. (pve wise).
  7. From the day i had my oil slick upto this day i just cant get my commando clear that he should use his flametrower the moment i patch down Oil slick.

    Outside the annoying animation time (and weapon swap), TA is a pretty enjoyable set to play with. Then again, flash arrow.. outside the -perc i never seen a single change in the accuracy of the mobs (3 SO slotted acc-debuff).

    Why not just give a Patron set that can do fire damage?
  8. I think at the moment its down, i'm still at work so i cant really check what is going on.. though i gues either:

    a. powerfailure due the n00biness of my dad and powertools.
    b. Erm.. i'll see when i get home ok
  9. Not really, we had a powerfailure at my place while i was at work, so my server went down and has no auto-reboot

    Its already up and running for a while again :P
  10. Repulsion is a serious end-eater.. kind pathetic. Unless you slot it 3 EndReds just a 2-3 mobs repelled can drain all of your endurance already. Even with Conserve i could jump in a group of 12 mobs and drain all my endurance instantly.

    Its just like the Epics, from lvl41 you can pick the first one, the last 1 require as least 2 other powers to be taken first.

    but PvP is pretty grossly imbalance in favour of heroes anyway.. tried PvP with my stalker and really didn't like it much.
    Heroes epic powers way outclass the PPP and the sheer volume of heroes vs fewer villains makes pvp a pretty dull experience anyway. Maybe 1 on 1 a regen stalker would have fun but this never happens... its always 3 or 4 on 1 and you'll get too much damage too fast to be able to compete. Put that together with the fact that regen heroes get stamina boost and stalkers don't pretty much guaranteeing they'll win in the long run.

    A stalker snipe, a stalker pet both consiverd weaker then Heroes Epics? Take a regen scrapper and let him face 4-5 villains he will post the exact same stuff you just posted.

    Heroes had a headstart, its up to the villains to catch up.
  17. Boltmeister, marius, liz and Lodestar have been manualy confirmed now. Main problem is hotmail seeing my domain as 'spam-mail' because probably my reverse DNS is identify-hidden (no personal info is being displayed on a whois). Emailserver however do shows full log that all messages (exception of bolt.. weird domain u got there m8 - though msg was sent) have been delivered at the mailserver of the user.
    Several other hotmail account users have got their email, might check your junk/spam folder.

    Liz was the exception, i kept getting that email back saying the magic '550 code', mailbox unavailable.

    Anyway, you can login now.

    For a Brute: Who cares, you bash smash and pulverise. How many brutes actualy have taunt?

  21. Depends on playstyle imho. If you just are the brute to take alpha only, let the rest of the team do the damage. Worse having 3 dominators on the team, you wont have a single fury-buildup, they are all mezzzed to the max.

    Since you need way less powers as Granite (less shields), you can get more attack powers then others. Wich can somewhat cover the -recharge part.

    And if i tell the team 3 times that they should avoid knockback and they still do it.. not my fault they die

  23. I wonder from all those posting here, who actualy have a Granite brute or Tanker? Granite is a style of playing, just like a squisy dark or a fire armor based one.

    -acc issue, nobody thus far came with hard proof that its actualy there (outside that several websites claiming it), since i got my 2nd computer back online i might go for a ctrl-click punch test versus some white minions (no acc slotted offcourse). Surely after a 100 hits i can make a nice line, if i got time i'll boost it to a 500.

    As for the recharge, nobody actualy knows the exact % debuff, though i wonder what the actualy formula is for having a -recharge (time x 1 / (1+buffs/debuff?) = 4 x 1 / 0,3 makes 13,3 seconds). Or would it be a (time x 1+debuffs? = 1 x 1.7 = 6,8 seconds). I rather keep the guideline, recharge penalty = 2 recharge SO's.

    Anyway, to be continued.
  24. I'm a perma-granite, i never noticed anything such as the -acc and we're talking 1 SO acc in all powers wich basicly never miss versus even lvl mobs. Neither does prisma guide state anything like this, neither the ingame stats (wich should have been fixed by now if it was that way).

    There is no such thing as -acc in Granite.
