Quote:there already is an easy way of doing this, it's called your SG/VG storage bins. as long as your toons belong to the same group all you have to do is put that slalvage in a bin or make that enhancement and put it in a bin then switch to the toon that you want it on and voila, you just did a transfer on your own.Just a suggestion a few others and my self have been talking about. We think there should be a way to transfer items and influence between characters on an account without having to trade with some one and then switching to the next and trading back the items or influence. Each time this happens, we take a chance on someone taking what we trade them and not giving it back. Is there any easier way to do that yet, or is that going to be the only way? Maybe it could be an option in a new booster pack. Thanks.

make sure you have all the lateset updates for everything in your system, i.e. video card, op system... then do a disc clean up and defrag. and while you are playing it is a good idea to type /unloadgfx in the chat box once in a while.

we already have one. it's called arena chat. better known as: /ac

Quote:we already gave you a very effective way of doing this after you open the market for the first time. when you have it open all you have to do is set what you want it to search by using the filter. then it will only load what you have specified.I started a thread in the Player Questions forum to see if the technical issues surrounding the Consignment House was being addressed.
My initial observation was that, on clicking on a Consignment House Representative, the game loads the entire database of transactions, which often causes long wait times and map-server disconnects.
My question is: Why are more conventional ways of searching databases not being used?
Generally speaking, when faced with a database, the user inputs search parameters and the program returns only the values based on those parameters. Forcing everyone to load the entire database seems very inefficient.
It is my hope that other players, who feel - as I do - that there is a serious problem with the quality of experience with the Consignment Houses, voice their concerns in a effort to persuade the Developers to take action. -
thats good to know. i don't think i've run into the problem but i will watch for it now.

Quote:the blaster shouldn't die. if it did it would be a very unused AT IMO. and i would honestly rather have that passive shield then a toggle for the first couple lv's so i didn't burn so much end. There's a few first-picks for Scrappers where a second would be more beneficial. For example, if I remember, Invuln's first power is a passive instead of a toggle. I'd rather have the toggle first.
As for Blasters... well, if the Blaster doesn't die then something's wrong. -
thats not what he is talking about. he is talking about getting a choice like you do in your primary. now with that said, i would love to see him keep his scraps and blasters alive through the lower levels without that forced pick..
-
you can click on the tabs at the top of the screen insitead of hitting the back button. see if this helps.
-
and what happens when someone wants to switch to a different toon because there are to many of a certain AT? you won't know this until you go into the zone. so now because you are locked into a tf you can't switch toons because no one else can enter the zone.
-
you also can agro as much as you like. you just have to kill some within time to keep the agro from the ones that didn't follow.
-
you are going to have to try all of the resolution sizes until it is fixed. i would also recomend finding out if you have the latest drivers for your video card.

Quote:you know, that would be an awefully comedic event now that i think about it. could give us something to laugh at for quite a while.I think this would be hilarious. I can already see some idiot changing his Origin and then has to sell all of his DO's and SO's for a fraction of what he spent on them because they no longer match his Origin. Then he comes here to complain about it.

if you are still missing screen then your resolution isn't right.
-
in order to "fix" you we need more info about your comp. post a hijackthis report and cohhelper report. first though try a disc clean up and defrag.

Quote:you do understand that the bare minimum means that you will be ble to play the game but it will not play that well? that means that you must be set to the absolute minimum video settings. this also means that you will have longer load times and lag in your game. That is very interesting. But, according to the Recommended PC System Requirements, all I need is 1 GB of RAM. So, is the several-second delay a bug or a feature?
According to the Mimimum PC System Requirements, the game should be fully playable with 256 MB of RAM. I'm not hating on you, buddy, I'm just pointing out that there is a measurable difference between we - as players - are being promised, and what is being provided. No disrespect to you intended.
Finally, after only 14 posts, at least 5 other people are reporting similar problems with the game because of this element. Clearly this issue needs to be voiced.
as for it being a bug or design, you show you aren't reaally sure how computers and online games actually work together. your comp(the client) and the server communicate sending info back and forth about the game. the connection has everything to do with your end and how well it can process the information and also how good your internet connection is. try /unloadgfx before interacting with the market. i have times where it lags also but oh well, i deal with it. of course there are times to when alot of people will be trying to access the same thing and that will cause lag also. -
actually, you can after the first time you load the WW/BM screen. all you have to do is type something in the search box or filter for the for sale only, for bid only, both or all and it stays that way until you totaly log off the game for the night.
if that is what you mean... -
Quote:actually no now that i re read it it came out wrong but that is what happens when i do more then 3 things at once.I get the feeling you like yelling things and making drastic comments without supporting them.
what will happen is, just like every other time, power sets will get nefered. most likely it will be the new AT's to keep them balanced with the other AT's. this will make them, imo, less desirable. hence waste of time. -
NOOOO!!!! if those type of AT's came out a severe nerf would hit all powers on all at's just to make those sets balanced. and that would probably never happen which means it was a waste of dev time to do. so incase you didn't get it, NOOOO!!!
-
what conceptual reason would this serve? not to mention how many times have you seen a hero or villian change his origin?
-
well, if you don't want to re-roll to take DM for dark consumption you could always re-roll to take elec melee/da. or da/elec melee. depending whether you want a scrapper or tank...
-
well, until they get rid of rooting effects, this will stay in your dreams. interesting idea though.
