First off, thanks for the quick answers! Wasn't expecting it that fast

Second, thanks for the info, clarified a lot. I probably sounded stupid saying it was misleading, as really it's not, but it was the way I looked at the situation. Anyway, I'll choose a credit-card subscription to activate the account, cancel, and use time cards after my 30 free days are up. It should work, and if not, I'll just have to find out a way to make the credit-card option work.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but this is a little confusing and troubling to me.

I read that the Architect edition of CoH comes with one month free game time. I made the digital purchase today and tried to apply the serial code, only to find that at the end of the transaction I needed to input my subscription plan. Unless I do so, it seems I cannot upgrade my account.

It's rather annoying because if this is the case, not only do I have to purchase a time card, but the "one month free" is rather misleading. Am I doing something wrong, maybe? Thanks for any help in advance
